I opened my eyes and was greeted again by the sight of a dark ruin, but with the novelty that there were several people inside.
"Finally! What took you so long?!" Eris grumbled.
"Haha, sorry, I just had a few things to take care of, that's all, right mother-in-law?"
"Ah?...Y-yes!, that's it," she murmured with a smile and blushing cheeks.
"Still, that's no excuse for taking so long! Do you know how long we've been waiting?!"
"Eris, it's only been thirty minutes, it's not that big a deal," Sylphie muttered in exasperation.
Only Ruigerd and Kishirika were missing from the basement room and went down immediately afterwards.
"Ah Rudy! It's good that you're here, in that case it would be better if we went out here!" Kishirika said excitedly.
Ruigerd on the other hand had a serious expression but he was relaxed in the same way.
So we all climbed the stairs of the ruins and left them.
We were immediately greeted by a snowy landscape of a lush forest.
I shivered slightly at the cold and turned to my companions.
"According to the ring map we are close to the borders of the Biheriel Kingdom to the south specifically" Sylphie said while looking at her map.
"then it worked!" Hilda said with emotion hugging Eris tightly.
"eem... Yes, b-but there's another problem..." Kishirika muttered, trembling slightly.
I immediately understood what she meant and sighed lightly.
There was currently a snow storm and we were not in the least bit prepared for one.
"Here, use my robe," I said as I gave my brown robe to Kishirika, which was adorably too big for her.
"T-thank you..." She whispered blushing as she smelled the robe... Not so discreetly.
"b-but w-what's wrong with us?..." Hope said, starting to tremble as well.
"It's easy, I'll just use fire and wind magic and create a warm space for everyone, Sylphie you can help me with that until we get to the nearest city" I said.
She immediately nodded with determination and everyone in the group except for Ruigerd approached me.
"Ruigerd?, Doesn't the cold bother you?" I asked him confused.
"No, I'm fine," he said with a slight smile.
"...Well, in that case please everyone stay by my side at all times" I said as I began to accumulate mana in my hands
Sylphie quickly did the same and so the air around me began to warm up warming my shivering mothers-in-law and betrothed Doldias.
"Haa... This feels better!" Linia said with a smile and Pursena nodded.
So with the cold issue resolved for the moment, the whole group began walking through the snow.
According to the map, the nearest town was a couple of hours walk away, fortunately we would arrive at night.
Eris, Linia, and Pursena were practically glued to me as we walked while my mothers-in-law stayed close to Sylphie as well.
Thus, with gravity magic lightening our step, we finally arrived at the first city at dusk.
The town was called Vinagern and from what could be seen it was more of a village than anything else.
Even so, we were able to quickly find an inn which we quickly entered.
"Haaa... finally..." Linia complained as she slumped into a chair.
"I've never walked so far in my life, Nano..." Pursena complained weakly in the same way.
Inside the inn there were no more than three people who looked at us like we were strange, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Still, even I could tell that my group seemed out of the ordinary with so many women in it.
"Five rooms for one night please," I said to the innkeeper.
He looked me up and down briefly and then nodded solemnly.
Fortunately, we were given rooms on the second floor and they were relatively nice...
In addition to that the organization of these was the following:
Ruigerd would sleep alone in one, Hope and Hilda in another, Kishirika and Linia in another.
Pursena and Eris in another at the latter's request, which left me in a room with Sylphie all to myself.
I could see that she was really happy with this result and after dinner we both dived into the room, covering ourselves with the sheets.
"Haaa.. Rudy" Sylphie sighed with a smile as she rested her head on my chest, listening to my heart.
"It's been so long since we were just together alone..." Her tone was nostalgic and also burdened with a bit of sadness.
"Yes... I missed having you all to myself too, Sylphie," I whispered into her ears, causing her to blush and her ears to flap up and down.
"Rudy... What are we going to do after all this?" She asked suddenly, looking me in the eyes.
"... Well, the first thing will be to look for a new house for my mother and sister... Then we will have to wait a few years and then we will get married" I told her and she smiled warmly.
"Heh... That sounds like a plan" she replied kissing me on the cheek.
"Yes... Also the reason why your mother and me-"
"You don't have to tell me, I know, Mom is in love with you just like me" she laughed.
"Ah... I see... and you're not upset, a-about your father?" I asked unsure.
"Who?... Oh yes Laws!... Yes I am a little impatient for what he could say but I know that if something happens you will be there for us right?" Sylphie asked with a smile
"Heh, of course," I said, caressing her gently.
"mmh~" she snuggled up to my side enjoying my affection and so we both fell asleep.
...
The next day I woke up with.... Sylphie caressing my crotch with her hand while looking at me blushing.
I blinked in confusion a few times until I processed what was happening and when our eyes met she froze like a baby deer in the middle of a road.
"I-I... I... You were hard down there a-and it l-looked p-painful a-and" she stuttered, turning red as a tomato, I could even swear I could see steam coming out of her head as she began to tremble slightly.
"Sylphie... We're still... Too! Young to do that..." I muttered with a weak smile.
"B-but yesterday I h-heard you with Kishirika!" She squealed in embarrassment.
'Oh shit... So the whole group heard me?!'
"Well... That's different, she's a demon of thousands of years, you're just a child, your private parts are not developed" I said with a mocking smile pinching her belly.
"Hmm! Rudy!" Immediately her embarrassment turned to anger as she pouted adorably.
"Also... When we make love we will do it thinking about having children, and we can't do that yet" I whispered in her ear
Again shame flooded the elven girl as she buried her face in my neck squealing softly.
"Now come on, we have to continue with the trip" I said and she nodded.
...
After a leisurely breakfast, Ruigerd and I went out into the city to buy coats.
Fortunately we were able to find a store near the inn and we all returned with heavy fur coats for my women.
I especially took care of Kishirika by removing the chains on her wrists and making her dress more modestly.
She complained at first but when I threatened not to have sex for a month she immediately agreed.
Now she looked adorable in that children's coat that covered her completely despite her protests.
With the rest, simple fur coats and snow boots were enough.
The only problem was me since I was carrying a total of three swords with one of them two meters long on my back, obviously it attracted a lot of attention so I covered it with rags and let Ruigerd would carry it.
"The next closest city is near the kingdom of Ranoa about five days from here" Sylphie said with slight concern.
"... Never mind, in that case we'll call for a carriage" I said and Hilda frowned slightly.
"But where will we get carriages? As I recall, there isn't a trade line near here," she said, placing a hand on her cold cheeks.
"Tch... Then we'll buy one" I said and everyone looked at me surprised.
"Rudeus! You're not thinking of selling your swords, are you?!" Eris shouted indignantly, but I shook my head.
"No, for that we will use magic" I said with a smile.
"Magic? How?" This time it was Sylphie who was interested.
"It's easy, we'll use condensed earth magic" I said as a mass of common earth began to form in my hands, but as I put more mana into it, the mass of earth began to become harder and darker...
As I pumped mana into the stone, I began to mold it into a brick.
I knew you could make anything in this world with magic, but could you really make exactly anything?
Slowly, the stone bar took on a rectangular shape and its color began to change to gold.
"Rudeus! That's it!" Hilda shouted in awe as she approached me, completely surprised.
"Yes and no, I'll explain later," I said as the golden brick began to take the shape of a gold ingot.
"Is it gold?!" Kishirika was the next to react, as she glared at me like a thieving goblin.
"Shhhh! Keep your voices down!" I ordered, and the two remained silent, though obviously eager for an answer.
So, everyone in the group looked for an alley far from the city.
I could see that even Ruigerd was interested in what I had created.
"This is simply ultra-dense stone, and I simply added the color with magic, hehe!" I said with a smirk.
"So, will you scam someone with this?" Hope asked, clearly unsure.
"Of course, by the time they realize the truth, we'll already be home," I said, and she nodded slightly.
"I'm still not convinced... you'd be scamming someone, Rudy." Sylphie was the next to voice her concerns.
"I know, but it's him or us, and I'd rather keep my family safe," I said seriously.
She blushed slightly as she looked away and nodded.
"Okay then," she replied.
"Haaa... I promise this will be a one-time thing, Sylphie. It's for our own good," I said, and she nodded again, though clearly not entirely convinced.
'My little Sylphie is just too kind!!'
"Right now, we'll find a wandering merchant headed for Ranoa and pay him with this," I said, and the entire group nodded.
...
So, after a bit of searching, Ruigerd and I found a man who could take us to the city of Sharia itself for a reasonable price. Upon showing him the enormous, clearly legitimate "gold ingot," he agreed to take us there immediately.
We left in the afternoon, so there wasn't much quality time since the carriage wasn't very large. We all slept on the floor except for Ruigerd, and the rocking was simply too much for us to rest.
This is how we spent our first night of a total of six on the road to Ranoa, according to the man, whose name is Pitt, by the way.
A simple, unemployed coachman who lived as a carpenter in his final days.
"Uugh!" I woke up with a tremendous backache after the carriage went through a particularly bumpy area.
My eyes were burning, my nose was burning, and my arms were sore.
I'd never had such a terrible night in my life, especially considering I slept in Pursena and Kishirika's embrace.
"Are you okay?" Ruigerd asked with a raised eyebrow. He simply sat with his legs crossed while staring at me.
"No... I couldn't sleep," I complained as he applied beginner-level healing magic.
Quickly, all the discomfort disappeared from my body as I sat up straight in the carriage.
Looking out at the landscape, I could see that it was still nighttime and we were in the middle of a very snowy forest.
"I honestly thought this part of the journey would be more comfortable," I muttered, my shoulders slumped.
Ruigerd smiled weakly, one of the few smiles I saw him make on our journey.
"I thought it would be more difficult, but we've crossed half the world in just ten days. I never thought I'd be able to do something like this again," he said.
"Yes, if it weren't for Kishirika, we'd still be on the Demon Continent," I murmured with a smile as I stroked the demon loli's hair, and she smiled at my touch, still asleep.
"Indeed. Besides, I see you've won her affection, haven't you? I've never seen her act so relaxed, ever."
"Heh, I don't even know how I managed to do it, but here we are." With those last words, we both fell asleep for the rest of the journey. The sound of the wheels hitting the stones on the road was the only thing that could be heard, and we stayed that way until dawn, when Eris was the next to wake up.
...
The five days of the trip passed extremely slowly, but after that, we were finally able to reach the magical city of Sharia.
I had several plans in this city now that the opportunity had presented itself, and I had discussed it with all my wives.
"Do we really have to do it, Nya?" Linia asked uncertainly as she clung to my arm.
"We haven't done anything wrong, Nano. Why do you want to do this?"
Both Doldia girls clung to me tightly with sad faces, and I just sighed.
"No, but even your father and grandfather recommended this. He let you go with me on the condition that you two study to become worthy heirs to your villages," I said seriously, and they both looked at the ground in resignation.
The first thing I had planned was to drop them off at the magical university.
That way, both of them would be accepted as special students and could live here. This would also be the place where I would say goodbye to the group to go find Philip...
And judging by everyone's reactions, especially Hilda's, it was clear that none of them were happy with this decision...
Poor father-in-law, I still won't regret fucking your wife!!!
