My divine consciousness hovered above countless worlds, searching carefully for remarkable souls among mortals who could carry forward the flame of humanity's progress. Yet, even as I reached out again and again, gently nudging their thoughts, providing insight through dreams and inspiration, I felt the process was unsustainable.

Two thousand worlds spun beneath my gaze, each teeming with mortal souls whose destinies awaited subtle intervention. A flicker of my divine consciousness could guide individuals toward knowledge, but to repeat this for every civilization on every world… It was a daunting task, draining and repetitive.

I withdrew my awareness, sighing gently as I rested my back against the sacred peach tree in my domain. Soft petals drifted down, their gentle fragrance soothing my restless spirit.

"There must be a more efficient way," I murmured, eyes half-closed as memories of my past life surfaced slowly.

Earth. A distant dream, a world lost but not forgotten. I recalled vividly my earlier life, especially the countless hours spent engrossed in novels. Those fascinating stories from Earth—particularly the concept of "systems"—suddenly sparked a powerful inspiration within me.

Systems.

Yes, those intriguing mechanisms in stories where protagonists received divine or technological assistance, guiding them step by step, unlocking new knowledge, new strengths, transforming ordinary beings into towering figures who reshaped entire civilizations.

A smile played upon my lips. Could I create something similar here? Systems capable of guiding mortals, ensuring their continuous progress without my constant direct interference?

Excitement swirled in my chest, stronger than ever. If successful, such artifacts could autonomously nurture entire civilizations. Mortals gifted with systems could grow their communities faster, innovate beyond their imagination, and uplift humanity to previously unthinkable heights.

The more I pondered, the clearer the idea became. It was ambitious—but with my current divine power, certainly achievable. First, however, I needed deeper knowledge about creating divine artifacts of such sophistication.

Resolved, I rose swiftly, striding toward the edge of my domain. My next stop would be the central city exchange hall, the hub of knowledge and artifacts in the Divine Dragon Realm.

But just as I stepped outside the boundary of my divine domain, I halted abruptly.

Standing expectantly at the border were two familiar figures. Ginseng God, my amicable neighbor whose domain thrived with divine healing herbs, and another whom I recognized from afar—the Blue Spider Lily Goddess, whose domain blossomed eternally with delicate blue petals and fragrant divine energy.

"God of Humanity, congratulations on your ascension!" Ginseng God greeted warmly, his face alight with genuine admiration. Beside him, the Blue Spider Lily Goddess offered a graceful smile, her ethereal aura shimmering gently.

I inclined my head respectfully. "Thank you, my friends. Your kindness is appreciated."

The Ginseng God introduced his companion warmly. "Allow me to introduce our neighbour, the Blue Spider Lily Goddess. Like myself, she manages a thriving divine plant domain."

The Blue Spider Lily Goddess bowed gracefully. "Greetings, God of Humanity. I've heard much about your rapid ascension. Truly, humanity is fortunate to have such a capable guardian."

"You're both generous with your words," I replied, smiling calmly. "I'm honoured by your visit."

Ginseng God hesitated briefly, his tone growing more serious. "My friend, many plant-type gods have observed your rise closely. We have been discussing the possibility of forming a small alliance. Though plant gods number many, few possess strength beyond the third-tier god level. With your ascension to the second tier, you could lead us and bolster our mutual strength."

I paused thoughtfully, considering carefully. Alliances in the divine realm held significant meaning—power, influence, protection. Yet, I had barely settled into my divine responsibilities and ambitions. A premature alliance might restrict my future paths.

"I'm deeply honoured," I answered sincerely, "but this is not a decision to make lightly. Allow me some time to consider this thoughtfully."

Both gods nodded understandingly, seemingly satisfied by my respectful response. After a few more pleasantries and kind exchanges, they took their leave.

With newfound clarity, I proceeded swiftly toward the bustling central city of the Divine Dragon Realm. The celestial streets thrived with vibrant divine auras from countless gods and goddesses, each one unique in their divine forms and powers. The energy was infectious, a reminder of my ever-growing curiosity and the boundless potential that lay before me.

Arriving at the majestic central exchange hall, a receptionist quickly greeted me, recognizing me from my earlier visit.

"Congratulations, God of Humanity," she smiled warmly. "Your ascension to the second-tier god position has been noted by the divine realm. As acknowledgment, you've received an additional credit for material exchange. Here is the updated list of items available to you."

I gratefully accepted the scroll containing the extensive catalogue of divine items and materials. My divine sight rapidly scanned its contents, seeking a very specific artifact manual.

After several moments, my eyes brightened in satisfaction. At the list's end, I found exactly what I had hoped for: a comprehensive manual titled "Divine Artifact Creation: From Beginner to Master." Its price was steep, two credits. Thankfully, I had carefully saved my one credit from the previous exchange, combined now with the newly received one.

Without hesitation, I chose the manual, handing over the credits eagerly.

"An excellent choice," the receptionist praised, smiling as she presented the gleaming scroll. "May it bring you profound inspiration."

I left the hall swiftly, excitement bubbling within my chest. This manual was precisely the key I needed. With the information contained within, crafting divine "systems" to guide mortals would finally be within my reach.

Returning promptly to my domain, I moved to the quietest chamber in my palace. Divine runes glowed gently across the walls, enhancing clarity of thought and providing a peaceful atmosphere perfect for deep study.

Settling into a meditative posture, I unrolled the divine artifact creation manual. My divine consciousness immediately began absorbing the knowledge, dissecting every technique, theory, and process described meticulously within.

As my divine consciousness delved deeper into the profound secrets of artifact creation, my anticipation grew. The path forward had finally become clear.
