Author's POV
Hey everyone, welcome back to He Wore the Mask World...
No spoilers today 😏 — let's dive straight into it.
Three months later…
No one really knows what happened.
So, how about we hear it from the cast's POV? 😤
Noir's POV
Three months have passed… and I've been chasing this motherfucking bastard they call UNKNOWN.
Every time we get a trace of him, I rush in — and every single time, he vanishes before I can land a hit.
This cycle? Exhausting.
Last week, I came back to Malona to report — and for failing again, the President herself ordered me beaten and tortured. For days.
Electric shocks. Metal rods. Darkness.
I survived. Barely.
And the only light I had during that time… was Eriksan. She's the only one who saw me as more than a failure. She stayed. She didn't ask questions. Just held me.
But still... I can't let myself believe in peace. Not yet.
Back to present day…
I woke up sore again — body still wrecked from the punishment.
School? Irrelevant now. I go out occasionally with Eriksan. Somehow, I've become popular. Guys try to talk to me, but they keep their distance. They know me.
This place feels like a fragile illusion. One I refuse to fall into.
I have one goal: Bring UNKNOWN to his knees.
Though lately… there's someone I've been watching.
A guy. Quiet. Cold. Mysterious.
Even Eriksan seems interested in him.
He jogs every morning. Dominated the recent game tournament. Yesterday, he won the final — carried his team. A beast on the field.
I cheered without thinking. 🤭😂
But he's colder than me, and constantly bullied by those bastard Reapers. Laz, especially.
If I were Eriksan, I'd have ended Laz a long time ago.
That guy... he's rich, clearly. But lonely. Like he's carrying something he can't tell the world.
And that's dangerous.
But I can't be thinking about him. Not now. I have a mission. A war to finish.
RING! RING!!
My phone buzzed. I picked it up.
Mr. James: "We've found his next location. Tonight."
Me: "Are you serious?" (my eyes lit up)
Mr. James: "Yes. But don't engage directly. Wait until he shows himself. Then capture him."
Me: "Where?"
Mr. James: "He's targeting our first base. He wants the second part of the Syntari. The boss hasn't been told yet. You need to move fast. We're prepping. We miss you at home."
I grinned.
"So UNKNOWN wants to die trying to steal the Syntari again? Fine. He got lucky in Erold… but this ends tonight."
I threw on my gear, walked to the hostel garage, and rode straight for Malona.
[Author's Note]The Syntari is a powerful device protected by the three major governments: Erold, Meloparty, and Malona. It's split into three fragments. When united, they form the true Syntari — an access key to a full map of the known world... and the unknown one people never speak of.
Why is Jake after them?
We still don't know.
Elena's POV
Hi again...
The last three months? A nightmare.
He doesn't talk to me.
He doesn't look at me.
Even when I shout his name from across the hall — nothing.
He's close… but feels galaxies away.
Jake.
On the field? He's everyone's favorite. Talented, sharp, untouchable. The girls in my department adore him.
But off the field? A ghost.
In class, he just sits. Eyes distant. Barely alive.
The professors complain, but he doesn't care.
He just exists.
And then there's Laz — the parasite. He's been hovering around me like a curse. The rumors? They say we're dating. I wish that wasn't the talk. I asked Jake about it once.
He said nothing.
Just walked away.
KNOCK. KNOCK.
Laz: "Madam, are you in?"
Me: "Yeah, what happened?"
Laz: "The boss says we're returning home. We'll be back Monday morning."
I sighed and started packing.
As we left the dorm, I saw it again — my brother and Laz beating Jake. Again.
I dropped my bag and ran.
I pushed my brother away.
"Are you insane?! I told you to stop touching him! You're humiliating him!"
Brother: "Hey, stepsister — don't butt in again."
I slapped him across the face.
But Jake… he was already walking away. Bag on his back. I called out.
He didn't look back.
Damn it.
I turned and slapped Laz too.
Raised my hand again— but he caught it.
Pinned me to the wall, his face too close.
"Defending him again? I'll report this to Master. Seems like you're ready to watch him die."
I froze.
"It's not like that, Laz! You were humiliating him. That's all!"
He smirked.
"Whatever."
He picked up my bag, and I followed him. Quiet. Trapped.
But my mind was still drowning in Jake.
Why won't he fight back?
Could he be connected to Laz somehow? Related?
I've seen them together before...
Maybe that's why he says he's lonely.
Maybe… his own family hates him.
I'm so tired of trying to figure this out…
Jake's POV
Mary (AI): "Jake, I should stop being your AI. You're acting like a complete idiot. This is the fourth time they beat you today. Fight back already!"
Me: "Mary, power off for thirty minutes. I'll turn you back on when I reach Malona."
Mary: "Power temporarily shut down."
Silence.
I left the hostel and boarded a taxi. Told the driver where to go.
Yes… I've advanced.
I'm not just building tools — I'm making weapons. Vehicles. Systems.
I bought a house. Built an underground base beneath it.
I formed a clan.
They call me...
THE UNKNOWN.
Fifteen minutes later, the cab stopped at a dusty construction zone.
I paid and walked in through the gate.
Voice-unlocked the front compound.
Me: "Power on."
Mary: "You made me shut down for thirty minutes and now you expect me to just—?"
She appeared in hologram form — fully rendered and interactive. I designed it that way.
In my house, holograms move like humans.
I stepped into the elevator from the living room. Hit "-9".
Fifty seconds of silent descent.
Robots (unison): "Welcome back, Boss!"
Me: "Status?"
Mary: "One mission today. Steal the second phase of the Syntari — from Malona."
Me: "Exactly. Slime, suit mode."
My living bioweapon formed around me — armor folding into place like liquid steel.
I entered the underground garage.
There it was.
A1S Alima.
If I sold it? Worth 17 billion Dillira.
But I won't. 🥱
I stepped inside, powered it up.
And smiled.
"Malona… here I come."
Author's POV
HE HAS A WHOLE UNDERGROUND LAIR?!
A home-built AI? Vehicles? Robots?
This guy is not normal.
What's next?
We'll find out… in the next episode.
Till then — stay alert.
Much love. ❤️
