Ethan observed the blue water serpent. The serpent was lying half submerged in the lake. even if half of it body was in the lake it size was still incredulous. After some while Ethan noticed a golden coloured stone on it head it was tiny and hard to spot easily. " that it soul core all I just need to do is to use swallow step technique and harvest it" he thought. what could possibly go wrong.
Ethan started to shift his body to the extreme so he could perform the sneak attack. swish like a swallow he moved in an incredulous step . This step was the same one he used to evade the purple beast in the foggy mountain.
Before Ethan could near it . it eyes swung open . it was almost as if the serpent could see Ethan's deep secrets with it mystic eyes. He felt naked. " crap it an heavenly beast" Ethan said. but he still looked calm quickly he jumped and aimed at the soul core with the axe . BOOOM the serpent weaved it. But the axe hit it's neck.
The beast launched out of the lake has it soared in the sky missing Ethan second strike. Immediately a man and a serpent began fighting. the two trying to harvest the others life in time. By this time the disturbed lake was soaring about. the serpent was trying to use water skills to scatter Ethans step techniques. "hmm pathetic I am also a water bender" he snorted has he used the water to further enhance his step techniques.
The serpent was not that fast. it body was huge and the space in the lake was limited . this gave Ethan a huge advantage. " die" he shouted has he slide between the body of the serpent like glide. along the path his axe followed which tore the body of the heavenly serpent. " why did a mutant axe slice through it skin" this puzzled Ethan. but he didn't care. he leapt forward towards the serpent like God of war slaughtering an inferno beast. Bang
it soul core shattered. almost the same time. The beast wiped Ethan like a wipe.
Ethan flew like an arrow and hit one of the bamboo tree . buuuzzzz crack the bamboo hit Ethan. He immediately passed out.
Two hours pass by and Ethan regained consciousness. "bluergh cough cough" he vomited red blood. He was madly injured he stood as he examined his injury. He discovered that there was a huge gash in his chest. he could almost see his Bones. Blood was everywhere.
Ethan stood up and was walking to the lake he didn't even look at the serpent has his vision was blurry. he took a deep breath has he jumped into. he didn't know whether it was a stupid idea or what not. when he entered ,he felt a chill sensation in all of his body. his long silver hair floating In the water.
For some reason his body started to heal. he was becoming energetic. but he heard something. like as if something was calling him in . at first he thought it was an illusion as he tried to resist with his mental will. But it was too strong. As if his body was not in his control it started drifting into the bottom of the lake.
"What are you doing idiot you are going to die " he said weakly. But his body won't listen to him. bAang his body wrapped and was compressed. He has felt this before it was space wrap again. who would have thought there is space teleportation at the bottom. of this lake .
BOOOM. immediately he was thrown again 15 meters away from the ground. baang he landed on the ground. dust was scattered everywhere after some while it settled Ethan stood up as he walked around dusing his body. the fall was not too much though he was still upset. now he can't have serpent soup again. god knows where he is on this planet again.
looking up he saw something.A huge majestic jade temple. the huge doors where mystic there where drawings of constellation, stars, cosmos, galaxies on the jade door. Each was sparkling as if it were alive and could come out at any time which was terrifying.
Also at the center there was a big terrifying star bigger than countless stars and galaxies combined. on it was a mighty blue dragon. it was terrifying it eyes were sharp and mystic almost as if it could hold billions of stars in them. the more Ethan looked the more terrified and pressured he became. " who the hell will build such a terrifying temple in the middle of nowhere this is insane" he yelped.
*Ethan * something called him it sounded silent and was like a female voice. "who is there" he Ethan shouted has he looked around but could find no one . " Damn it seems I have to go in there no matter what I can't escape it" Ethan said has he rushed to the huge temple doors. when he was about to touch it BOOOM
it opened by itself an ancient breeze blew on his face.
"hmm" braving himself Ethan entered. Bang. After he entered the huge doors were shut , which startled him . by this time the voice was getting clearer. He looked around and what he saw shocked him.Around the wall were ancient drawings similar to the ones he saw in the cave. "what is this place" Ethan asked loudly.
The floor was made by some mysterious materials and the place was like two times a football field. "That my dao my way and you too shall follow that path" an ancient voice sounded. it was like a thunder to Ethans ears. Ethan of course couldn't see anybody and he was starting to wonder maybe he was still in the lake and was just trapped in an illusion.
" relax it not an illusion it all real" the voice continued this time it was not thunderous but calm like a wise man. Ethan calmed down and asked " who are you and where am I" . " you are on planet of the god of space and time and this is his temple" it said.
"you are not him" Ethan asked. "no I am just his remnant soul and I will soon fade away" the voice said . this time Ethan was calm. " so what now" he asked. " I am going to pass down his powers to you " it said. " hmm what the catch " he said something told him this voice was of an old man. " you will gain Almighty power to rule this universe " it said
" bullshit how do I know this is real" Ethan said.
