Carl knew better than to voice his actual thoughts to the enraged Fae standing over him. How am I supposed to know what exactly Ryker and Aiden have been doing together indoors since? He swallowed the question and offered the most neutral answer he could muster.
"Maybe they are talking about some important thing about our cleaning duty tomorrow morning, there are so much for us to do, so they are probably talking about that" Carl suggested meekly, hoping the Fae would accept the answer and leave him in peace, because he does not know how Zane expect him to know what Aiden and Ryker are talking about, it's not like he lives in both ryker's and Aiden's mind for him to know their conversation.
