Azrael disregarded the recent thought of how effortlessly Seraphina had brutalized Logan so thoroughly and focused on the present. Why the Chosen didn't look disturbed in the slightest wasn't a mystery worth solving at the moment.
After confirming that no abominations were nearby, he leaned over the edge of the well and asked, "So we just jump down?"
"Yes," Seraphina replied, walking toward Isolde. Without a word, she lifted the girl into a princess carry and leapt straight in.
'Well, at least I'm not the first to jump,' Azrael mused, watching their figures vanish into the void.
As he'd been told, the moment they disappeared from sight, so did their presence. He should've still been able to sense them a little longer, but there was nothing.
There was definitely some kind of barrier inside the well.
