"I've got this side! You take care of that flank!" Adeon shouted, blocking an enemy's attack with his shield before countering with his radiant mace. His aura invigorated his allies.
Merslin entered the fray combining magic with swordplay. He imbued his blade with magical energy and attacked his foes. Blue flames licked from his sword, inflicting searing damage.
"Feel the power of magic!" Merslin cried as his sword flashed.
The battle raged, and Merslin's party steadily dismantled the pirate stronghold. The pirates, facing certain defeat, began to flee.
After demolishing the base, the companions began their withdrawal. But just as they were leaving in their small boat, a pirate relief ship arrived. The vessel attacked, trying to cut off their escape.
"A pirate ship is on us! Back to our vessel and fight them!" Glick yelled.
Merslin's party returned to the goblin merchant ship and engaged the pirate vessel in a naval battle. The pirate ship attacked with heavy firepower, but the companions fought back bravely, combining their magical and physical might. As the two ships drew close, the pirates used grappling hooks and ropes to bind them together. Merslin's party crossed over to the pirate ship, initiating a direct boarding action.
"We can win this! Fight to the last!" Kaila cried.
Kaila swung her sword, decimating the pirates. Her movements were so swift and powerful that she gave her enemies no opening. Adeon, protecting his allies with mace and shield, leaped onto the pirate ship and clashed with the enemy. His shield repelled their attacks while his glowing mace crushed them with mighty blows.
As the fierce naval battle continued, both the goblin ship and the pirate vessel sustained heavy damage. Yet, Merslin and his companions fought to the very end, succeeding in sending the pirate ship to the bottom of the sea.
"The ship is sinking! Everyone, watch out!" Glick yelled.
"We did it! We defeated the pirates!" Merslin cheered in triumph.
Though they had taken heavy damage, Merslin and his companions returned to Kaliv Harbor with the joy of victory. They shared the news of their triumph with the people of the port and were praised for their courage in defending its safety.
"We've defeated the pirates. This place is safer now," Merslin said.
Glick approached Merslin with a rough laugh. "Thanks to you lot, we overcame a great crisis. Thank you. Here, take this." Glick handed him a small box. When Merslin opened it, he found an ancient artifact inside: a Cube.
"This is an ancient Cube artifact, left behind by our ancestors," Glick explained. "This Cube holds many secrets and great power. It will be a huge help on your journey."
Merslin accepted the Cube and expressed his gratitude. "Thank you so much, Glick. I am certain this artifact will be a great help on our journey."
