Chapter 43 - 8. The Start of a New Journey

After peace was restored between the High Elf Forest and the Troll Kingdom, Merslin, worried about the unresolved issue with the Ancients, made a decision. He was gripped by an anxiety that if the problem with the Ancients was not solved, a greater threat might emerge in the future. To resolve this, he decided to leave for the Nether-regions.

Lilia and Malion saw him off.

"Merslin, if you really must go, we respect your decision. But you must be careful," Lilia said, her eyes filled with concern.

"Let us know anytime you need our help. We're always on your side," Malion added.

Merslin looked at them with a grateful heart. "Your support is a great strength to me. I'll finish things with the Ancients and return. I hope you both stay well in the meantime."

Torn between the problem of the Ancients and the conflict in the High Elf Forest, Merslin had finally made his choice and set off alone on the road to the Nether-regions. His heart was heavy, but at the same time, he stepped forward with firm resolve.

"If I can solve the matter with the Ancients, our world will be safer. I will definitely see this through and come back," Merslin said to himself, steeling his resolve.

Meanwhile, Idanna, having left with the elves who followed her to find a new path, was deep in thought. She needed more power and allies. She thought of the Blood Elves, a faction that had split off long ago. They possessed powerful magic but had lost contact with the High Elves for ages.

"The Blood Elves are corrupted, but I believe I can lead them. We need their power for our goal," Idanna said, steadying herself.

However, she was troubled by the fact that the Blood Elves were corrupted by their lust for magic. She fell into contemplation, questioning whether she could truly lead them.

One of the elves in her group spoke. "That's right, Lady Idanna. We believe in you. We are sure you can lead the Blood Elves well."

Another elf added, "We will all follow you. If the Blood Elves have powerful magic, we can cooperate with them to become stronger."

Idanna replied with a determined voice. "You're right. We must cooperate with them to achieve our goal. We must make their power our own."

She led her group towards the region known to be the home of the Blood Elves. The path was arduous and dangerous, but Idanna and her followers set out with firm resolve.

On his way to the Nether-regions, Merslin formulated a plan to solve the problem with the Ancients. He intended to borrow their wisdom and power to prepare for future threats.

"By borrowing the wisdom and power of the Ancients, I will make our world safer. I will definitely see this through and return," Merslin said to himself, his resolve firm.

Meanwhile, Idanna faced many difficulties on her journey to find the Blood Elves. They were hidden deep in the forests and were not easy to approach. But Idanna did not give up and continued her search.

"If I can find the Blood Elves and form an alliance, we will become stronger. No matter what difficulties I face, I will see this through," Idanna said, her voice filled with determination.

Merslin and Idanna each walked their own paths, steeling their resolve to face new challenges and threats. Their journeys were not over, and more adventures and conflicts awaited them. But with unwavering will and determination, they moved forward on their chosen paths.

Episode : The Goblin Village

Merslin headed to the Nether-regions to solve the problem of the Ancients. After restoring peace between the High Elf Forest and the Troll Kingdom, he now embarked on a new journey to deal with the Ancients. As he traveled down the path, he encountered various creatures.

One day, deep in a forest, Merslin met goblins. They looked just as described in novels: small, with sharp teeth, rough skin, and unpleasant laughter. They were aggressive and predatory, threatening travelers who passed by.

"Those are goblins, exactly as described in the novels. This is a dangerous area," Merslin muttered to himself.

He decided to carefully detour to avoid a conflict with the goblins. After several hours of travel, Merslin reached a place near the sea. There, he discovered goblins of a completely different sort.

Reaching the seaside, Merslin witnessed an astonishing sight. The goblins here had formed a village and were engaged in commerce, much like humans. They ran shops and markets, buying and selling various goods. Merslin realized that the goblins of this village had a culture entirely different from the image in the novels.

"This place is truly amazing. These goblins are nothing like the ones in the novels," Merslin said in admiration.

The goblins loved money and technology. They were keen on advancing their technology to make their village prosper and were diligent in collecting gold and jewels. It was said that some of the goblins had once been minions of a gold-loving dragon. Their passion for gold was likely the dragon's influence.

"I can feel the influence of a dragon here. For goblins to love gold and technology like this," Merslin muttered to himself.

The goblins greeted Merslin kindly, though their speech was rough and direct.

"Hey, traveler. Welcome to our village," said a goblin merchant.

"Thank you. This place is truly surprising. I would like to learn more about your culture and way of life," Merslin replied.

The goblin merchant guided Merslin through the village, explaining, "We catch fish from the sea and sell things at the market. We like collecting gold and jewels. We like technology too. Some of us used to work for a dragon."

Merslin enjoyed his interaction with the goblins as he looked around the village. Then, he heard news of a new monster threatening the goblin village. It was a giant sea beast that was attacking goblins near the coast.

"That thing has put our fishermen in danger. We can't catch fish, and the village economy is a mess," one goblin said angrily.

"So, if you could take care of it for us, it would be a great help. In return, we'll provide you with money, food, a place to stay, and transportation," the goblin elder offered.

Merslin thought for a moment but eventually agreed. "Alright. I'll take care of the beast. In return, I'll take you up on your promised reward."

Guided by the goblins, Merslin headed to the coast. He spotted the giant sea beast and approached it cautiously. As soon as the beast saw Merslin from the water, it began to attack.

Merslin used magic to create ice and walk on the sea. An ice path formed beneath his feet, and he began to approach the beast. The beast launched powerful attacks from the water, but Merslin responded calmly.

"I'll have to use fire magic to draw it out of the water," Merslin muttered, casting a fire spell.

Merslin used a powerful fire spell to pull the beast from the water. The hot flames cut across the sea's surface, dragging the monster out. The beast, now on the surface, writhed in pain.

"Now, let's fight from an advantageous position with creation magic," Merslin said, using creation magic to form a giant spear and attack the beast.

Merslin's creation magic struck the beast hard. The beast resisted fiercely, but Merslin maintained his focus and continued the fight. After a fierce battle, Merslin defeated the beast.

"It's over. It won't be able to threaten the goblins anymore," Merslin said, catching his breath.

The goblins cheered, amazed by Merslin's bravery. "Thanks to you, our village is safe again! We'll give you the promised reward."

Merslin received the promised reward from the goblins. They provided him with money, food, a place to stay, and transportation. Merslin accepted their kindness with a grateful heart.

"Thanks to you, I can continue my journey. Thank you so much," Merslin said.

The elder of the goblin village expressed his gratitude to Merslin. "Thanks to you, we are safe. We hope to be with you in the future as well."

"I am also glad to be with you all. Our alliance will continue," Merslin replied.

Strengthening his friendship with the goblins and gaining new strength and wisdom, Merslin continued his journey. With his resolve to solve the problem of the Ancients reaffirmed, he set off for his next destination.

Episode :The Ancient Ruins and the Mad Trolls

Thanks to the reward and alliance gained from the goblin village, Merslin was ready to begin the next leg of his journey. He had rested well with the help of the goblins and now traveled further downriver on his new mode of transport, a small magical boat. Soon, the ancient ruins of a once-flourishing civilization appeared before him.

Merslin explored the ruins, captivated by their mystical atmosphere. Ancient script was carved into the walls, and ornate mosaic tiles covered the floors. The ruins were mysterious and beautiful, but at the same time, a threatening aura lingered in the air.

"These are incredible ruins. They feel similar to Incan or Mayan ruins," Merslin said to himself.

As he explored the ruins, examining ancient artifacts and debris, he suddenly heard a strange sound from beneath his feet.

Following the sound of footsteps, Merslin came face to face with a group of crazed trolls and goblins. Their eyes were bloodshot, and their behavior was savage and violent. This was a different kind of madness from the frenzied trolls he had seen before.

"This is different from the berserker trolls. These ones are completely mad," Merslin said, on his guard.

The trolls and goblins charged at him. Merslin resolved to use his magic to stop them. He used ice magic to block their movements and countered with fire magic, then began to dispatch his enemies with weapons formed from creation magic.

During the battle, Merslin discovered that the trolls and goblins were holding humans captive. The humans were terrified, and the trolls were intending to use them as sacrifices.

"This can't be! I have to save these people," Merslin vowed.

Merslin fought even more fiercely to protect the captives. He used ice magic to pull the trolls from the water and subdued them with his created weapons. After a fierce battle, Merslin defeated all the mad trolls and goblins.

In the midst of the fight, Merslin encountered special wild animals that roamed the ruins. They seemed to have absorbed the mystical power of the place. There was a bird with enormous wings, a deer that ran with the speed of lightning, and a cat-like creature that walked on water.

"It seems these animals have gained special abilities from the power of these ruins," Merslin said in surprise.

The wild animals helped Merslin fight off the trolls and goblins. The winged bird spat fire from the sky, throwing the trolls into confusion, while the lightning-fast deer quickly subdued the goblins. The water-walking cat moved swiftly, protecting Merslin.

During the combat, Merslin saw that the giant bird was being attacked by trolls and goblins. He immediately decided to save it, fighting his way through the trolls to reach the bird.

"Don't worry, I'll help you," Merslin said to the bird, driving off the trolls with fire magic.

With Merslin's help, the bird escaped the attack and expressed its gratitude. "Thank you, brave one. Thanks to your help, I was able to find freedom."

Merslin smiled. "So you were one of the wild animals that helped me. You're safe now, you'll be alright."

At that moment, the bird used its magical ability and transformed into a small bird. "From now on, I will follow you and help you."

"Thank you, my friend. Together, we can overcome even more difficulties," Merslin said gratefully.

Merslin moved the human captives to a safe place. They were terrified, but under Merslin's protection, they calmed down. They thanked Merslin, overjoyed to be able to return to their village.

"Thank you so much. You saved our lives," one of the former captives said, shedding tears.

"I only did what I had to do. I will now take you to a safe place," Merslin replied warmly.

Protecting the former prisoners, Merslin guided them back to the village where they lived. With the help of the wild animals and the small bird, he returned them safely.

Upon bringing the captives back to their village, Merslin was welcomed by the villagers. They expressed their deep gratitude, offering him a place to stay and food.

"Thank you so much. Thanks to you, we have been reunited with our families," the village chief said.

"I'm glad I could help. I will strive to ensure you can all live safely in the future," Merslin replied.

To repay him, the villagers served him a feast and provided him with a magical horse to use for transportation. Merslin accepted their kindness and finished his preparations for the journey ahead.

Merslin bid farewell to the villagers and continued on his journey. The small bird sat on his shoulder, staying by his side. With his resolve to solve the problem of the Ancients reaffirmed, Merslin set off for his next destination.

"If I can solve the problem of the Ancients, I'll be able to help even more people. I will definitely see this through and come back," Merslin said, his voice filled with determination.

Merslin's journey was not over, and many more challenges and adventures awaited him. But now, Merslin possessed a newfound, stronger confidence. He walked the path to solve the problem of the Ancients, gaining new allies and strength as he went.
