Aether and Solmira were sleeping peacefully when a knock could be heard.
Knock knock.
Aether sleepily stood up. Yesterday, before going to bed, he had locked the door tightly so that no one could enter like Thalia had.

Aether reached the door and opened it.
He saw Thalia standing there with teary eyes.
"What do you want again?" Aether asked.
"They won't be coming today." Thalia replied in a sorrowful voice.
"You mean your brother and family?" Aether was still sleepy, so he asked to clarify.
"Yes." Thalia replied. Her eyes were wet, as if she had cried before coming here.
"Is it because the teleport waypoint hasn't been repaired? Just use another one nearby."
The damaged teleport waypoint belonged to the Ravenfall Family. Each of the seven great families has a teleport waypoint near their territory.
Aside from their own, there are many others within a reasonable distance.
"There's not a single one left in good condition." Thalia replied nervously.
