The footsteps got closer, Utto and Merlin were sweating buckets, Free's guard was up, he stared at the door full of caution, ready for anything. Suddenly, the door was slammed to the wall by a high force, temperature starts to rise around the room.
A girl between 13 or 12 walk in the room, face annoyed, hair red and fire coming out of her hand, she looks around the room and her eyes landed on Free. "Who are you?" she asked, he takes and step back and gave a polite bow.
"I'm Free, Chief of Hayan village" he introduced, the girl stared at him for a second longer and then chuckled mockingly.
"So you are that weakly smart kid, acting like you're some noble" she mocked, Free was silent, trying not to lose it, but the girl gave a mocking look at him. "Heard your father dued un a stampede, he may be weak too" she said, his vein popped and hands gripped tightly, Merlin and Utto tried to step in but the girl made them retreat with just a glare. She turn her attention "[Fire bomb]!" she launch a beginner spell at Free, Merlin tried to interfere but Utto stopped him, the fire was about tohit Free but it was blocked by something. "...wha?" stunned, the girl tried launcing another attack but it would only fade as they get closer.
"Beginner barrier spell, can block any mana infused attack, so your attack are useless" Free said with a faint grin, his rings glowed golden again, the girl was still stunned. He take a step forward and stand face to face to her. "So who's weak?" he ask, the girl's face turned red in anger and she grip her hand tightly and launch a punch. But one of Free's rings fly out from Free's hand and attach into her pinning her to the wall.
"Let me go you bastard!!" she yelled, trying to break Free from the rings but each time she did the rings only get smaller, making her hand pale because of the blood getting blocked.
She tried hard for a while longer until she eventually fall to the ground gasping for breath, Free bend his knees and stare at her eye to eye. "Tired already? Even my Nine year old sister last longer than you" he mocked back, the girn grit her teeth, but tiredness taking over, she only stayed silent.
"Lady Iris, yo-you should rest..." Merlin ran up to her and help her stand to her feet, later after Merlin and Iris left, Free and Utto were alone. There was a awkward silence between the two, Utto hesitantly sat on his seat and gestire Free to sat down too.
"My apologies, for treating your daughter like that" Free apoligised, but Utto brush it off with a wave.
"I should be the one apologising" Utto said with a laugh, he push a glass of wine to Free but Free refused. "Also, i heard you're making a new place called a Park" Utto said, his face now serious, Free gave a nod.
"It will take atleast a month or linger for the park to be build" Free said with a straight voice, Utto nodded and takes out a golden check from his drawer, he signs and write something in the check and gives it to Free. "What's thi....." Free paused, he rub his eyes and looks at the check again for a confirmation. "Are you seriously giving me a hundred gold coin" he asked calmly, Utto nodded, he stands up from his seat and stare out throught the window, staring at the lights of the town.
"Yes, i'll be happy if you accept the money" Utto said, putting a finger in the mirror. "Your village have been a great idol for our town, they smell rotten, stinky and dirty" he said.
"Yeah, Hayan is a clean village" Fre said, leaning in his chair but Utto shook his head in refusal.
"Not just clean but cleanest, and you're the one that made Hayan a clean village" Utto turned and walk close to Free, he put a finger on his desk. "I heard you were the reason".
"I didn't really do anything" Free said, Utto chuckled and sat back on his chair, he take the documents from the desk and starts to work again. 'If only...' Free thought, he gave a polite bow to Utto and left the room.
Later.....
Free was walking to the guest room, he was slowly walking staring at the Walls and other luxury of the mansion, while in the distance the other mansion where the party was gonna be was still lit up and workers were still working.
"Ohh.... Chief!!!" Merlin called out from behind, Free turned and Merlin stop beside him. "How was your talk with Lord Reys?" he ask, Free paused.
"Just a talk about the park and this...." he said, showing Merlin the check, Merlin face went pale in shock seeing that much amount of money given to Free.
"C-chief, is this for real!?" he asked, checking the check, it was real.
"Yes" he snatch it back from Merlin, and walk back to the guest room, Merlin was still frozen in his place unable to speak seeing that much amount of money.
In the guest room,Free throw his clothes in the chair and falls onto the bed, he stared at the rings in his hand, which were glowing with energy, something moved beside his head, he look at it and it was Sylvia's feet, she was sleeping peacefully, blankets on her lower body, he stands up and put the balnket on her. "Good night..".
"HHHHHEEEEYYYYYY, YOU STUPID CHIEF, COME OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!" someone outside yelled, knocking and punching the door intensly, Free turned to the door and was tired of it, on the other hand, Sylvia murmured in her sleep, dusturbed by the knock.
Free walk up to the door and open it slightly and outside was Iris, flames all over the floor , eyes blazing and a death stare on her face. "YOU-!!!!".
"Shut up, turn up, calm down, walk to your, room, take a deep breath, close your eyes, call your mom and sleep" he said with a flat voice, Iris froze, he turn her body back gently, pat her head and kick her across the floor, Iris was silent,, flabbergasted.
