"lina! Can you please hang those clothes outside" hina shouted from the livingroom.
"yesss!" lina replied
Inside the bedroom of hina's and philip's. Free hand glowed brighter and he gave a faint grin. A week has passed since the orc subjugation and free has been using his healing magic everytime no one was around..
*giggles* this is so much fun, using magic really felt great he thought to himself, grinning.
He move his hand up then he move it left and right, he can freely move his hands now.
It have been very easy and comfortable to move my hands now, i really missed moving my hands freely he thought staring outside, no chirp, no bird just the tree. The birds have stopped coming to the root tree he thought
And...he started to used his healing magic again Oo light of goddess, please cleanse our wounds and suffering, light heal. His hands glowed green and he smile as the green light glow brighter.
Meanwhile downstairs...
"lady hina!. the mana is growing again, this time at faster rate" lina said her face turning pale, she covered her mouth.
"how many time has it grow this morning" hina said worry visible on her face, her hands trembled.
"atleast 13 times this morning" lina said throwing up at the bathroom . "it feels like hundreds of high mana mages are here" lina said covering her mouth with her handkerchief.
Hina tried to brush it off " b-but who will have that m-much mana maybe it's-" lina interrupted.
"you know who release this much mana, lady hina" lina said wiping her mouth. "you can't ignore this" lina said.
hina shook her head agressively "B-but this can't be. A baby can't have this much-!".
"...mana" lina completed. "i myself didn't believe at first but after i held young master, i was sure he was the one releasing all that monstrous mana" she added staring at the window of hina and philip's room where free was
"lady hina, we have to do something" she said entering the house, sitting on the chair in the living room
"but what can we do!" hina said pinching the bridge of her nose.
"we have to seal it before young master is branded as a 'misfit' by the villagers" she said expression serious. "i'll prepare the seal" she added
"B-but we can't do that free's childhood depends on it!" hina said denying it.
"we have to, young master whole life depends on it, if we don't take sooner action the whole house can be destroyed!" lina said grabbing both of hina's shoulder almost pleading.
Hina look at lina in the eye, her breathe hitches. she tries to calm herself down but the mana coming from the second floor was too chaotic for her to calm herself down.
"ugh!" she gasps for air the mana was rising again 2x higher than before her knee buckled
"lady hina you have to understand this! Young master mana is growing ten to fifteen fold a day. You have to make a decision.....either seal young master mana or let him grow and be hated as a misfit!" she shake hina's shoulder.
"O-ok...ay l-let's do it then" hina get up, tired and she walk out.
"okay then." she walk to the second floor . "The seal will be ready by an hour" lina said, she quickly enters her room opposite to hina's and shut the door with a loud.thud!!.
"i'll g-go and buy some ingredients for lunch" hina said as she take her basket and leave.
"let's do it" lina muttered to herself, she took a magic scroll out from her drawer and started to write sealing chants.
In the market hina was buying some ingredients for lunch when she heard some village people gossiping.
"hey, don't you felt like half of the village is covered in a large heavy cloth or something" a lady said laughing dramatically but feared was visible on her face.
"yeah, i know it feels like a whole army of royal mages are here" another said, her face pale.
"hina?" rael called out cheerfully from behind hina.
"ahh!. E-elder rael it has been a while" she said startled by the sudden call out.
"yes it has, it has been a week since the orc subjugation" she said smiling cheerfully but her face turn to a bit serious.
"hina can you feel the presurre too" rael ask softly with a faint smile.
Hina's jaw clench the wind brush her dark shiny blue hair. "we-well i can feel a bit of it, it isn't a big problem" she laughs faintly gripping her basket tightly.
"you are lying. Your house is in the area of where the presurre is coming" rael said seeing through hina's lie. "you are a former Mage-class adventurer hina you should be able to sense it easily" rael said her voice low and sharp like dagger.
Hina quickly deny it waving both her hands "i-it isn't like that. I have been busy so i don't have time to sense that presurre!" she turn and left.
"hina, you know where this mana is coming from don't you" rael muttered but no one hears it.
A nearby lady was pale and she leaned in the group of the women gossiping "m-maybe a dungeon is forming in the village. I read that when mana is high in some place a dungeon form in it" she said.
The others womens already pale tried to brush the thoughts off.
"maybe we are just imagining too much" rael said joining the gossip, smiling.
"ye-yeah w-we are just imagining things" everyone approve on it.
Meanwhile hina was walking home quickly.the whole village is feeling the mana, just how much my son have it she thought but then her steps slowed
down, the presurre was growing more and more. It grew three times while i was gone hina started to walk faster.
She reached home and notice plants were pointing at the house some were over growing. even the plants are growing faster because of the mana. She thought and open the door.
Boom the mana inside was devastating hina knees trembled, but she walk up the stairs to the second and open the left room opposite to her's - lina's room
She open the room and inside was a room windows closed, the place was dimly lit by a candle, it was dark, a single desk and a bed in the corner, paper seals all over the walls,floor, doors, window and ceiling were attached and lina was sitting in her desk. There was no prsssure inside lina's room, all paper seals block the mana.
"lina i-is it complete?" hina ask, she sat at the bed gasping for air.
Lina didn't look up from her desk "i did, but the last one break" she replied.
Hina eye widen "what?" she ask
Lina didn't look up, she scribble words in the paper "when you were out buying ingredients, i put a compeleted seal a advance one but after i put it in young master, it crack and broke into dust"
"what?!" hina choked on her breathe. "the advance one crack!! Just how high is my son's mana!!" she shouted
"i don't know" lina replied,then she stop writing
"completed" lina said taking the seal with a clip. "now all that left is put this seal on young master's back" she said
"i can do that" hina said standing up from the bed.
"are you sure lady hina this is okay" lina said giving her the paper seal cilpped in the pin.
"yes" hina said taking the seal, she walk to the door and open it but the pressure came again stronger than before. "why is this higher than before" she said.
"wait, lady hina" lina said, she lit a stick in fire and blew it off, smoke started coming out.
Inside the room free's hand glow brighter and brighter. it glow brighter, i should do it more .he focus in his left hand and the green glow shine brighter okay it's working more, more just a bit more.
Suddenly *yawn* free yawn his eye slowly close. sleepy he fall asleep and the glow faded.
2 minutes later.....hina entered with lina holding paper seal bigger than the one she gave to hina.
"the mana sucking paper is working perfectly" lina whisper to hina.
"ye-yeah" hina said as she open free's back. "are you sure this won't break like the one you tell me" she ask hesitating to put the seal.
"Yes, lady hina it won't explode" she said calmly. "now, lady hina put it fast before the sleeping drug effect wear off from young master" she said while the small smoke came from the stick in her room.
"okay" hina slowly put the seal in free's back.
*shiiiiinnnnnnneeeeee* the seal glowed bright, hina and lina covered their eyes and the shining bright light slowly faded. The seal was put perfectly, hina fall to her knees relieved.
"we-we did it!" she said and lina gave a faint nod, the paper slowly sucked all the mana in the room.
"let's bury this mana sucking paper in the garden" lina said folding the paper neatly."good for plants growth" she added.
"yeah. Let's go" hina said finally smiling.
They turn But then *crack* both froze and they quickly look at back *crack* the seal crack again.
"lady hina....." lina said her voice barely a whisper as she stare at the high tier paper seal cracking.
The seal crack again, silence. Mana started leaking from it but the seal remains stable.
Both sighs terrified....."l-lady hina should i prepare the permanent seal" lina ask, voice trembling.
"y-yeah..." hina said as she stare at free sleeping peacefully yet the mana he had can even scared a ogres
Lina stared at the seal a bit lonher, then she left the room with hina and later at the garden she bury the mana sucking paper "that mana can even make a ogre pee itself" lina muttered as she left the garden.
