Chapter 29 - CH- 28 : Overwhelming Talent !

Reizan slowly rose from his seat, his presence calm and composed. With a soft hum of energy beneath his feet, he ascended into the air and descended gracefully onto the massive Starwheel platform.

A hush fell over the crowd as he landed.

"Wait… that's him!" a Main Family Ōtsutsuki member whispered. "He's the son of Lord Shibai!"

The revelation spread like wildfire.

Dozens of spectators—especially those unaware of Reizan's true identity—stared in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief. Gasps rippled across the arena.

Even Momoshiki, who had always seen himself as a prodigy, felt something twist deep in his chest. His jaw clenched, envy flooding his veins like poison. Him? he thought, trembling. He's the one I've been compared to? I'll kill him one day… with my own hands.

But he held back. Even in his envy, Momoshiki wasn't foolish enough to release killing intent now—not with Tensai present. The Guardian would eliminate him before he took a single step, and no Elder would come to his aid.

Isshiki and Anon both shifted their gazes toward Reizan, interest flashing in their eyes. Even they were curious now.

Among the tournament's participants, Toga crossed his arms and smirked, casting a sidelong glance at his younger brother. Momoshiki… your eyes are burning with hate. But how pathetic. You're a worm glaring at the sun. He laughed inwardly. Reizan's light will blind you.

Others stared as well—some from the Branch Families looked on with awe, while others frowned with quiet disdain. But even in disapproval, no one could deny his aura.

Kaguya, standing quietly among the Branch youth, watched Reizan intently. She had never seen him in person before. Unlike the others, her expression held no hatred—only curiosity.

On the platform, Reizan approached Suzan, who stood at the edge of the path leading to the Starwheel.

"Do your best, Young Lord," Suzan said, his face neutral but respectful.

Reizan gave him a small nod, then turned and walked forward alone closing in on the star wheel.

Reizan stood still, eyes fixed on the colossal Starwheel before him. Now that he was standing directly in front of it, he could feel its presence like a sleeping beast waiting to be awakened.

"It's bigger than I imagined," he murmured to himself, letting out a slow breath. "Let's see what my limits truly are."

With a flick of his finger, a single drop of glowing golden blood shot from his hand. The blood glimmered in the air before the Starwheel absorbed it in an instant. The entire structure trembled slightly, reacting to the divine essence it had just consumed.

Among the Elder seats, one of the senior figures leaned forward, eyes narrowing. "Divine blood..." he whispered in disbelief.

Murmurs rippled across the Elders, but none dared speak louder. After all, he was Shibai Ōtsutsuki's only son. That alone explained the anomaly—or at least, that's what they told themselves. Questioning his bloodline, especially in the presence of Tensai, would be political suicide.

Back on the platform, Reizan exhaled and released a tremendous surge of chakra. The arena trembled under the pressure. Cracks formed on the outer ring of the Starwheel's platform as the ancient mechanism roared to life.

The dial began its first rotation.

1st planet… 2nd… 3rd… The markers lit up rapidly.

By the time the 12th planet ignited, a silver aura enveloped the entire structure.

"Morning Star," Suzan muttered, unsurprised but silently pleased.

Without pause, the second rotation started.

1st… 2nd… 3rd… all the way to the 12th.

The Starwheel shifted again, now glowing in radiant azure light.

"Radiant Moon…" Suzan's voice this time was tinged with awe. Even Isshiki, still seated nearby, narrowed his eyes.

This speed… he's moving even faster than me, Isshiki admitted inwardly, a flicker of disbelief flashing across his face.

Anon smiled faintly, intrigued. "So, Son of a God… show us your ceiling."

Reizan's chakra spiked again, and this time his eyes glowed—his Golden Tenseigan had awakened fully. Waves of divine light radiated from his gaze as the third rotation began.

Again, all twelve planets ignited in succession.

Suddenly, a roaring blaze erupted across the Starwheel. The flames turned golden, then red, enveloping the entire field in their brilliance.

"Sun-Fire!" Suzan shouted, unable to contain his excitement now.

The crowd gasped, stunned. Whispers broke out everywhere, eyes locked on Reizan.

"That's... already Sun-Fire?"

"This fast?!"

Among the Elders, another leaned closer and examined Reizan's eyes. "That's no ordinary Tenseigan," he said gravely. "It's the mutated form—the Golden Tenseigan."

The others exchanged glances, realizing the rarity and power behind such a mutation. Even Isshiki's jaw slackened as he stared, surprised to see the glowing golden orbs shimmering with layered power.

Anon, for the first time, looked down at his own Sapphire eyes and frowned. Am I… lesser?

Then came the fourth rotation.

1st… 2nd… 3rd… It climbed once more—slow, steady, and unstoppable.

By the 12th planet, Reizan had already begun his final display.

Twelve Truth-Seeking Balls formed behind him, orbiting like dark suns. His eyes shifted again, and this time the Golden Tenseigan dissolved into another form—his Kokugan.

A heavy silence fell.

Even Isshiki stood up in shock. "That's… my eye," he muttered, stunned. "But how—?"

None of the Elders spoke.

They only watched.

And understood

Reizan was not just Shibai's son.

He was something else entirely

Reizan took a deep breath as his chakra flared once more. But this time, it wasn't just ordinary power. A torrent of pseudo-Supreme chakra erupted from him—dense, refined, and immensely vast. It was already brushing the threshold of High-Tier Supreme, and everyone present could feel the immense weight pressing down on the planetary platform.

Then, without warning, the Starwheel lit up again, this time in a dazzling golden radiance.

"Divine!" Suzan exclaimed, his voice echoing across the heavens. His eyes widened—he had seen countless awakenings in his lifetime, but never once had he seen the Divine classification with his own eyes. The platform beneath their feet began to glow, then the light shot upward like a cosmic beacon, engulfing the sky in golden brilliance.

The entire planetary platform was bathed in the sacred glow, and it extended far beyond—reaching into neighboring solar systems. Even Ōtsutsuki clan members five hundred light-years away paused what they were doing, eyes squinting at the distant flare of light cutting through the cosmos. Many thought a legendary treasure had appeared—until they realized the glow came from the Awakening Ceremony platform.

On the Elder's stand, the dignified figures who had remained stoic throughout the trials rose to their feet. For the first time in thousands of years, shock painted their expressions.

"Divine…" one Elder muttered.

Another chuckled in disbelief. "Only two others in all of clan history have reached it—and now a third. Lord Shibai's son has truly lived up to the name."

All across the crowd, whispers and cheers began to erupt.

"Divine Kāma Seal…"

"I didn't think anyone could do it in our lifetime."

One by one, the final rotation began.

The planets lit up in succession—

First… second… third… all the way to the twelfth.

Even with all the divine chakra he poured into it, the Starwheel did not go further. The dial hand halted after the twelfth planet on the fifth rotation.

Reizan exhaled deeply. So that's my limit… Divine.

Suddenly, a surge of energy gathered at his hands. A Golden Kāma Seal appeared, burning like a sun, wrapping around both his arms. His body began to transform—his skin radiated a luminous golden hue with silver lines running through him like divine circuitry. He no longer looked mortal.

He was something else entirely.

A golden energy body now floated at the center of the platform, his Kokugan eyes glowing like celestial spheres. The power he felt was overwhelming—his strength had increased by a dramatic margin.

From the upper level, even Tensai, ever stoic, stood and let out a hearty laugh. "Good! My Lord… twelve planets, Divine tier. Worthy of Lord Shibai's legacy!"

The Elders followed suit, their applause echoing with reverence rather than formality.

One by one, the crowd rose, joining the applause as their gazes settled on Reizan's transformed form. For the first time, there was no envy, no doubt—only respect.

Suzan appeared before him once more. "Congratulations, Young Lord," he said with a small bow. Though his face remained calm, there was pride in his eyes.

Reizan slowly allowed the form to fade. The golden energy receded, the silver lines disappeared, and his body returned to its natural appearance—pale skin, white hair, his noble features fully restored.

Without a word, he turned and flew back to his seat among the highest tier.

Suzan then stepped to the center of the platform, facing the crowd.

"I congratulate all of you on completing the Awakening Ceremony," he began. "But now, it is time for the next phase…"

He gestured toward the vast platform beneath them.

"…The Tournament of the Younger Generation will begin in five hours. Please take this time to rest here on the platform. I will personally adjust and prepare the battlefield."

He gave a respectful nod to the Elders, and with their approval, vanished in a streak of light toward the outer edge of the Starwheel arena.

From his seat, Reizan gazed out at the crowd, expression unreadable.

"In just a few hours… it begins," he whispered. A small smirk played on his lips. "Let's see what kind of opponents will face me."
