The morning air was crisp, though not cold enough to make Tina frown. She bounced around the apartment like a pinball, inexplicably excited for something Andrew didn't fully understand yet. He sat on the edge of the couch, one leg tucked under him, the other dangling lazily, a mug of coffee in hand. His brows were drawn together in mild suspicion as he watched her zip through her closet, humming some barely-there tune that was equal parts chaotic and adorable.
"You're scaring me."
He said, voice tinged with amusement.
"What is it this time? Another midnight dessert experiment? Or… wait, don't tell me—you found a new way to annoy everyone at work?"
Tina paused mid-sway, peering at him with wide eyes.
"No! This is… exciting! Something I've been waiting for forever!"
Andrew blinked, tilting his head.
"Exciting, huh? Should I be worried?"
"No!"
She exclaimed, hopping toward him. She grabbed his hand with surprising grip for someone so petite.
