# Chapter 87
“Kneel down.”
Under the almighty god’s strict order, Apollo fell on his left knee and lowered himself. He laid flat until his shin touched the surface, bent his elbow, and slowly put his chest on the floor. He turned his head to the side so his right cheek reached the bottom. When his ear felt clogged, the surrounding noise also faded as if it was filtered by a transparent layer.
“Is he really sent to Tartarus?”
“But, he’s Apollo… I mean, for real…?”
The crowd buzzed. They never thought they would witness an unusual scene of one of the twelve Olympians getting his ankle tendons cut off and falling to Tartarus. Zeus didn’t seem to make Apollo kneel and lie face down on the floor, just for a show. He was sincerely trying to execute Apollo’s sentence.
