Chapter 103
The trees stretched upward as if supporting the sky and provided large shades. Ares found a man’s legs sticking out below the shadow. Eros was asleep with a calm facial expression, being swept in a dream given by Psyche. The goddess, sitting beside her husband and patting his head, looked at Ares in surprise as he showed up abruptly.
‘What did she touch?’
As feelings of displeasure lingered within him, Eros also woke up from sleep, bounced off the ground, and sat straight.
“Ares.”
“I’m sorry if I disturbed your sleep, Eros.”
“No, you didn’t. If you came to see my mother, you’ve come exactly to the opposite side.”
Eros adjusted his clothes and got up from the ground. Was there a reason for Ares to come all the way here? Eros then thought of the war god as having come to see his mother but got lost. In order to navigate him the right way, Eros came close to Ares, but Ares stopped him and got to the point.
