After unlocking The World with Star Platinum and reaching the maximum level of six, Logan's one-on-one combat abilities had reached a point where he could handle most enemies head-on.
But when it came to Orochimaru, the Cult Leader, the White Snake Immortal… those kinds of high-level opponents were a different story.
> "I'm still lacking a large-scale AoE attack."
Right now, he could barely summon something like a small fighter jet. While the speed and attack power of its missiles were good enough to overwhelm ordinary ninja, against true experts, it just wasn't enough. Either the missiles couldn't keep up, couldn't hit, or couldn't finish them off even if they landed.
> "I also need a good DoT—damage over time."
An ability that continues dealing damage after a successful hit, ideally one that limits or outright stops regeneration.
> "It wouldn't hurt to have some healing abilities too."
> "Based on that, the best options would be: Red Magician, Sub-Space Miasma, Crazy Diamond, and Golden Experience..."
Logan chuckled aloud after reviewing the list in his head. Honestly, it felt like he needed everything. But the system wasn't a genie that granted every wish. He couldn't expect it to hand him what he wanted on a silver platter.
All he could do was play the cards he already had—and play them well.
He rubbed his cheeks and took a deep breath.
6,477 Soul Fragments.
His budget today was 4,000. He'd stop drawing if he landed on a good Stand-in or substitute early and save the rest for upgrades.
> "4,000 fragments means 400 draws. If the five-star drop rate still holds steady at one in 160, and my luck doesn't tank... I should be able to pull at least two, maybe three five-stars."
Logan exhaled deeply and clapped his hands.
> "Alright then—let's do this."
> "Draw!"
The system let out a satisfying clink-clink-clink, reminiscent of coins falling into an arcade machine.
Ten draws… fifty… one hundred…
One hundred fifty… one hundred sixty…
> "Still nothing?"
Logan clicked again.
One hundred seventy… one hundred eighty—
Suddenly, everything went dark.
Stars rained down from the heavens as Logan closed his eyes, listening intently.
Ding ding ding ding ding!
A five-star!
Finally!
A glowing sphere of starlight appeared in front of him.

Item Name: Zeppeli's Iron Ball
Star Rating: ★★★★★
Owner: Jeroboam Zeppeli
Introduction: A golden spinning technique passed down through generations of the Zeppeli family.
Note: "The technique of spinning is extremely difficult. Can you master it… Logan?"
---
A small, emerald-colored iron ball the size of a tennis ball dropped gently into Logan's palm.
As soon as he grasped it, a rush of techniques flooded his mind—throws, spins, vibrational tactics, and muscle control methods.
> "It's been a while since I pulled a five-star… and it's this one?"
The Golden Spin.
It originated from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run, and was one of the more fascinating techniques in the Zeppeli bloodline. Originally created to help condemned prisoners die painlessly, the spin relaxed their muscles, allowing for swift, clean executions.
But in Steel Ball Run, the Golden Spin evolved far beyond that. It could be used in combat, in tracking, in healing—it was a universal ability, not a Stand, but more powerful than many Stand abilities.
Compared to Ripple Qigong, which focused on self-cultivation, the Golden Spin focused on defeating the enemy.
> "No wonder Ripple is four stars and this is five. Especially when you consider Lesson 5, the one that unlocks the Cavalry Spin. That thing can punch through dimensions and age someone with a single strike."
> "It's basically a causality bomb."
Logan knew full well that such power wouldn't be handed to him easily. If it were easy to master Lesson 5, the system would've ranked it a six-star without question.
Even with its difficulty, the Golden Spin filled a hole in his arsenal. Pursuit, long-range pressure, and even a chance to perform a spatial kill—Logan had needed all that.
> "With this, if I ever run into that masked man again... I just need to tag him once with a proper Golden Spin. Let's see how many Sharingan he's got to burn through that."
He tucked the iron ball into his inventory.
> "Alright. Let's keep going."
Ten more pulls… twenty… thirty...
Once again, the vision darkened.
> "Already?"
Ding ding ding ding.
This time, it wasn't a five-star. But still…
A four-star this early was a solid win.

Stand Name: Burn the House Down
Star Rating: ★★★★
User: Emporio Alnino
Ability: Allows access to a "ghost room" hidden in the cracks of reality. The ghost room can be used to rest briefly, store items, or use certain existing items—like books or food. However, food inside cannot provide actual sustenance.
Activation: Requires locating a "crack" in the environment. Takes 10 seconds to open.
Note 1: Take a break every now and then.
Note 2: If you sniff carefully, you'll smell pure oxygen. If you listen closely, you'll hear cowards crying.
---
> "Hmm… this one's a pure mechanics-type stand."
Where Star Platinum was strong in both raw stats and special abilities, Burn the House Down offered no real panel advantages—it existed purely to manipulate environments and logistics.
Logan activated it and located a nearby crack.
After waiting a moment, a gentle pull yanked him forward—and the next second, he was lying on a tatami mat.
> "A strange ceiling… no, wait… not strange at all."
He sat up and looked around.
A small TV with two controllers rested in front of him. A refrigerator hummed softly nearby. He glanced through the sliding doors into a familiar little courtyard.
The gravel in the yard made him wince—he remembered how rough it could be when sitting on it as a child.
> "Is this... the old Uchiha house?"
The ghost room created by Burn the House Down had reconstructed the place where Logan had once died.
Stepping outside, he found that the house and the courtyard were the full extent of the ghost room. Beyond that, there was only void.
> "I could stash steamrollers and knives in here. When the time comes, I open the crack, grab a weapon, and start smashing."
Not a bad plan. He could even use it as a hidden cache for giant items—like battlefield weapons, emergency rations, or explosives.
Thirty draws for something this versatile? Not a bad trade at all.
He still had 190 draws left in his budget.
> "Let's finish it out."
Unfortunately, it seemed like he'd burned through his luck early. Even after using up all 190 remaining draws, nothing else significant came out—not a single new substitute, not even a decent four-star.
Logan's breath quickened. His jaw clenched.
> "Last one. I don't care if it ships or not—this is it."
He fed in the final ten draws.
The darkness returned—but this time, it was different.
Deeper. Heavier. More absolute.
Ding ding ding ding ding!
Another five-star.
The light converged into a humanoid shape—arms crossed over its chest, its presence radiating raw danger.
The glow intensified, then snapped inward like it was being devoured by a black hole.
A crimson figure appeared, floating in midair.
Its gaze locked onto Logan, cold and deadly.

Logan stared at the deadly Stand before him… then glanced at the iron ball in his hand.
A slow smile spread across his face.
