Zeenare descended into the Town, his gaze sweeping every face his eyes might.
Whispers echoed with every step he took deep into the abyss, a hateful gaze that could kill rested on him from every angle.
"What is a surface dog, doing in our territory?" A man built like a colossal Titan stood before him blocking his path.
Zeenare stepped back, his gaze tight, his jaw flexing.
"I'm here to find someone." He answered softly.
Echoes of mockery laughter ripped from the people around him.
"You broke the path, to come see someone. Passing through the barrier without an invite." The man's voice turned cold.
"Because you were able to come out of that reef alive, I would make your death swift." Before he finished his words, the man drove his hand at him, aiming for his heart.
