Chapter 67 - Chapter 68: Encounter with Tsunade and Shizune

Itachi was wandering aimlessly. As he continued, his expression grew slightly strange.

The reason? He had stumbled upon a rather interesting place...

Inside, the commotion was enormous, and it seemed very lively.

"Big, big, big! Small, small, small!"

Itachi could hear the shouting coming from within.

"Are they seriously playing some kind of golden cudgel game?"

...

"Lady Tsunade, maybe we should head back. If we don't, we might end up spending the night on the streets again..."

Inside the establishment, a young woman with short black hair, a pure and delicate face, wearing a black-and-gray long-sleeved outfit and pants, spoke to the glowing-eyed woman beside her.

"Shizune, quit nagging me. Watch me dominate this place and win big tonight—we'll eat and drink to our hearts' content!"

Hearing Shizune's words, Tsunade raised her eyebrows and responded confidently.

She had light blonde hair tied into a large ponytail, a bluish-purple diamond-shaped mark on her forehead signifying her Yin Seal, thin pale-yellow eyebrows, bright brown eyes, light red lips, and red-painted nails. Her skin was fair, and her figure was strikingly voluptuous.

She wore a tea-green long jacket with black edges, a loose, sleeveless kimono-style top beneath it, secured with a black sash at the waist, and dark blue cropped pants.

Tsunade was an exceptionally beautiful and mature woman.

"But, Lady Tsunade..."

Shizune looked at the money on the table as it was once again snatched away by someone else. She opened her mouth, struggling to speak.

"Enough! No need to say more—everything's fine!"

Tsunade exuded an aura of confidence, like a gambling deity reincarnated.

On the back of her green jacket was a large kanji character for "gamble," radiating an unstoppable dominance.

...

"Big spender—uh, I mean, Gambling Goddess, which side are we betting on this time?"

As Tsunade and Shizune conversed, a middle-aged man walked over to them with a flattering expression and asked.

Being called the "Gambling Goddess" made Tsunade's eyes light up with excitement.

"This round, bet on 'big'! It's a sure thing!"

Tsunade grabbed a handful of silver coins and placed them on the "big" side.

Shizune was at a loss for words. The man had already slipped up and called her a sucker.

"One million on 'small'..."

A man wearing a black cloak with red clouds and a mask walked up to the table. He took out a box, opened it, and revealed a stack of silver coins. He placed the money on the "small" side.

It was Itachi.

Feeling bored and not knowing how else to spend his wealth, he decided to indulge a little.

The moment he stepped in, he noticed two striking figures, especially the large "gamble" character on the back of the green jacket.

...

Itachi didn't bother trying to strike up a conversation with Tsunade. He decided to win big first.

Seeing this stranger casually bet a million, the dealer's brow furrowed. The moment he had been dreading had finally arrived.

With some reluctance, the dealer opened the dice cup.

"One, two, three—small."

The dealer announced the result with a face full of despair.

Underneath Itachi's mask, he was smiling.

...

"Sir, here's 100,000 ryo. Please, go gamble somewhere else."

The dealer looked at Tsunade with disdain.

Today's round had almost wiped out several months of his profits.

"How can you do this?"

Tsunade was furious, but her hands obediently accepted the money.

Watching Tsunade take the money, the dealer prepared to showcase his skills and win back the silver coins he had just lost.

To his shock, the moment Tsunade left, the crowd dispersed.

"What the heck???"

...

"Lady Tsunade, are we going to eat and drink well tonight?"

Thinking of the 100,000 ryo they had just received, Shizune seemed excited as they walked down the street.

"Eat what? We got kicked out! Obviously, we'll find another place to play."

Hearing Shizune's question, Tsunade replied irritably.

"Huh???"

Shizune's face fell, looking helpless and exasperated.

It looked like the two of them would be spending another night on the streets.

"How about we play a few rounds?"

Just as they were talking, Itachi appeared behind them and spoke softly.

"What do you want from me?"

Tsunade looked at the masked man in front of her with a hint of irritation.

She was a straightforward person and couldn't stand people who hid behind masks.

Even if the silver mask he wore was rather stylish.

...

Itachi didn't answer Tsunade's question.

Instead, he pulled out a stack of silver coins from his robes.

He lightly slapped them in his palm, producing a melodic clinking sound.

"Alright, alright. What game do you want to play?"

The sight of the coins immediately brought a smile to Tsunade's face.

Shizune, standing beside Tsunade, looked wary. She felt something wasn't right about this man.

Tsunade and Shizune followed Itachi into his room.

...

"Hurry up! It's almost dark. Let's play a few rounds and call it a night."

Tsunade wasted no time. She removed her long coat, tossed it to Shizune, and sat down excitedly.

She was ready to make a comeback, planning to turn 150,000 into several million.

"Let's play a simple dice game."

Itachi didn't say much. He simply brought out two sets of dice cups.

Naturally, he had prepared for this. He had spent a fortune acquiring these from a casino.

Tsunade picked up one of the sets, her eyes lighting up.

The sight of her generous, ample chest made Itachi's vision blur momentarily.

Damn, that's… big.

...

Shizune knelt quietly beside Tsunade, silently praying.

"Alright, let's begin!"

Itachi hung his robe on the wall, sat across from them, and Tsunade couldn't wait to start.

The first round.

"Wow! I actually won?"

Tsunade looked at their dice results, a mix of excitement and disbelief in her voice.

Even so, she unceremoniously pulled the 50,000 coins in front of Itachi over to her side.

Itachi swallowed nervously, his thoughts betraying him: So white, so round…

"What the hell am I thinking? Don't stare! Don't stare! Lust is an illusion…"

As Tsunade bent over to collect her winnings, her, uh, assets proved to be quite the distraction.

...

Of course, Itachi had let her win the first round, though it wasn't easy to do so in front of Tsunade.

Especially when the necklace she wore—a relic from the First Hokage—rested in that deep valley.

The sight left Itachi dazed and struggling to keep his composure.

This was too much. He was barely holding it together.

"Come on! How much are we betting this round?"

Tsunade, oblivious to Itachi's gaze, eagerly asked.

Meanwhile, Shizune glared at Itachi with suspicion, as if branding "pervert" on his forehead.

In the second round, Itachi lost again, unsurprisingly.

Once more, Tsunade's confident movements left Itachi's mind spinning.

This was more than he could handle at his age.

He realized he was out of his depth, drowning in a sea of distractions he wasn't prepared for.
