Athilda's pov
Mum pulled me into a hug while I continued wiping my tears. I gently pulled away before she could say more. "It is okay. Let us change the topic now. Is my sister very angry at me?"
I really did not want to talk about it anymore. I felt like I had no energy left, and it would only lead to another fight between us.
Mum let out a sigh and tried her best to smile.
"She is worried about you. She cried and cried, which is not good for her. Her pregnancy is delicate," Mum said, now wiping her own tears.
"She is mad?" I asked.
"Maybe. But her love for you is stronger than her anger. Please, sweetheart, you and your sister… stop fighting. It hurts me so much to see the two of you like this."
"I will try. It depends, Mum," I said honestly. I could not promise anything, especially when I could not control myself once my anger boiled over.
"Her pregnancy is very sensitive now." Mum reached for my hand again. I just let out a deep sigh.
