Chapter 100 - Loyalty Tests 2

Amelia flung open the doors to Park Jun Pyo's room, her voice ringing out in a cheerful, if not slightly sarcastic, tone. "Rise and shine!" she sang, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Park Jun Pyo, caught off guard, sat up in bed, confusion etched on his face. Before he could even process what was happening, the guards rushed in, quickly subduing him and gagging him to prevent any outbursts.

A translator stepped forward, speaking on Amelia's behalf. "Mr. Park, I believe we met at my granddaughter's wedding. It was such a blast."

Amelia's eyes never left Park Jun Pyo's face, her gaze piercing and intense. She was clearly enjoying the upper hand, and Park Jun Pyo's confusion and discomfort only added to her amusement.

The translator's words were laced with a subtle venom, implying that Amelia's pleasant demeanor was merely a facade. Park Jun Pyo's eyes darted back and forth, his mind racing with the implications of this sudden and unexpected turn of events.

Arthur watched with a mixture of amusement and admiration as his wife, Amelia, made a dramatic entrance, her presence commanding attention. He loved her strong personality, her Scottish spirit, and her flair for the dramatic.

As Amelia clamped her hand on Park Jun Pyo's shoulder, her eyes seemed to bore into his very soul. She took a deep breath, and Arthur knew that she was using her unique ability to read the man's life experience. "Past and Present." Amelia said slowly. Arthur nodded.

Park Jun Pyo's eyes widened in confusion and fear as Amelia's gaze pierced through him. He had no idea what was happening, but he knew that he was in grave danger.

Amelia's expression turned from intense focus to disgust as she read Park Jun Pyo's life experience, she discovered the shocking truth. He was responsible for the death of Noe Joon-su, and he had orchestrated the switching of the babies in the hospital. The proof may have been burned, but Amelia knew that she could still uncover the truth.

With a swift motion, Amelia backhanded Park Jun Pyo, her eyes blazing with fury. "My guards would turn you into sausages, using your own intestines as casings, and then feed you to dogs. I wonder what they'll do to you here, Jin-ae is much more brutal than I am in her vengefulness." Amelia pulled a large amount of phlegm in her mouth and spat on the man's face.

The translator followed suit, spitting a massive ball of phlegm at Park Jun Pyo's face.

As Amelia clamped her hand on Park Jun Pyo's shoulder again harder, her nails digging in cruelly, her eyes seemed to bore into his very soul. She took a deep breath, and Arthur knew that she was using her unique ability to read the man's whole life like a book. He had seen this done to a traitor before.

Park Jun Pyo's eyes widened in confusion and fear as Amelia's gaze pierced through him. He had no idea what was happening, but he knew that he was in grave danger.

Amelia's expression turned from intense focus to disgust as she uncovered the dark and dirty secrets of Park Jun Pyo's past, present and future. She learned that he was not an orphan, but the product of a union of cousins. An incest union, which explained his small stature. That was gross to see, what a way to start off a vision. Watching from conception throughout the person's life took a lot of energy.

Amelia's eyes blazed with fury as she continued to uncover the shocking truth about Park Jun Pyo's past. Her anger and disgust were palpable, and her voice was laced with venom as she spat out, "Ew."

Amelia's grip on Park Jun Pyo's shoulder tightened, her fingers digging deeper into his flesh as she gazed into his very soul. Blood ran from the crescents her sharp nails formed.

She saw everything - the depths of his depravity, the extent of his treachery, and the future plans he had set in motion.

Park Jun Pyo's eyes widened in a mixture of confusion and distress as he gazed up at Amelia. He felt like she was piercing through his very soul, as if she could see every hidden secret, every twisted desire, and every failed plan that he had ever conceived.

It was as if Amelia was sucking the very life out of him, leaving him feeling drained and vulnerable. Park Jun Pyo's face contorted in a mixture of fear and revulsion as he struggled to comprehend the old woman's powers.

The translator's voice cut through the air, echoing Amelia's words and revealing the dark secrets that Park Jun Pyo had kept hidden for so long. The guards' faces grew increasingly angry, their eyes blazing with indignation as they listened to the translator's words.

One of the guards took a step forward, his hand on the hilt of his sword, as if itching to strike down the man who had betrayed their family's trust. The air was thick with tension, and Park Jun Pyo knew that he was running out of time.

Amelia's eyes blazed with fury as she beheld the darkest recesses of Park Jun Pyo's heart. She saw his desire to harm innocent lives, to destroy the people she loved. And then, she saw it - his twisted plot to poison Rose, a mere child of five years, would have given her cancer.

Luckily, she didn't seem to like her Korean grandfather and would not be eating anything from the men in the future. Selena had changed things again. Amelia's face contorted in rage, her voice low and menacing. "You're a monster," she spat, her words dripping with venom.

"A monster who preys on the innocent, who seeks to harm children. You lusted for your own blood niece. Disgusting. Killed your own brother, tried to kill your own family several times. You're cancer, a plague on our family, and you will be cut out." Park Jun Pyo cowered under Amelia's grip, his eyes wide with fear as he realized the true extent of the trouble he was in.

And then, it clicked. Park Jun Pyo could laugh. The secrecy was all this. The Lowries were psychics; no wonder his wins were few. He started laughing into the fabric of his gag. Psychics were outwitted by him several times. He killed someone who could have seen it coming.

"Get Kim Chaeri in front of me now. She's been blackmailing him about the car sabotage that almost killed Jonah, isn't she Eun Ho's royal guard?" Amelia said. "I will pull every root of yours, kill your children, your mother, your father, women and eliminate your flawed line from this world myself, Park Jun Pyo." With a swift motion, Amelia slapped Park Jun Pyo, her eyes blazing with fury. The man did not stop laughing.

Arthur's eyes blazed with fury as he gazed at Park Jun Pyo, who was still cackling maniacally on the bed. Amelia, sensing her husband's rage, sidestepped, allowing Arthur to unleash his wrath. The guards quickly intervened, dragging Park Jun Pyo away as he continued to laugh hysterically.

As Amelia walked to the doorway, Noe Jin-ae appeared in the hallway, her face crumpled in anguish. She watched in horror as Park Jun Pyo was dragged away, her eyes welling up with tears. Amelia nodded solemnly, her expression a mask of calm. Under the surface her emotions bubbled like a boiling pot.

Noe Jin-ae's voice trembled as she gave the order, "Take Park Gulduk to the dungeon. He is a traitor." Her own guards hesitated for a moment before hauling Park Gulduk out of her room, his eyes wide with fear.

"Jin-ae, it is all a lie. Please. Do not trust an outsider." Park Gulduk screamed. A guard kicked the old man in the side roughly. His loyalty to the woman who had saved his children from death and ancestral pride as a guard of the family made his heart pound with rage.

Noe Jin-ae looked at him with disappointment. "Mother wanted to get rid of you after the children were born. I should have listened and got rid of the outsider." Noe Jin-ae held her dignity like the empress she was. "Take him away."

As Amelia approached Noe Jin-ae, she could see the weight of her friend's pain and betrayal bearing down on her like a physical force. Tears streamed down Noe Jin-ae's face, her elegant features etched with grief, her eyes red-rimmed from crying. Amelia's expression softened, her voice gentle as she spoke, "We have many painful things to talk about, my dear friend."

Noe Jin-ae's eyes locked onto Amelia's, her voice barely above a whisper, "Should I kill him?" Amelia's face set in a determined expression, her voice firm, "If you don't, I will." The air was thick with tension as the two women spoke, their words laced with a deep-seated anger and a desire for justice.
