One Month Later
"Hey... Wake up, asshole." Roco called out to Kichu.
"What is it? Let me sleep... You— you, darling..." Kichu mumbled, turning over in his sleep.
"Stop your sleep-talking and wake up. I think we just entered the Cosmic Line," Roco said impatiently.
"Yeah... Can I use my Sin now? I want to go... Superman mode. Voosh..." Kichu muttered unconsciously.
Roco lost his patience and smacked him. "Wake up, bastard!"
Kichu finally stirred. "Ahh... What was that for?" He rubbed his head.
"Why? You know how many times I called you? Get your ass to the cockpit—NOW!" Roco barked.
"Ugh... What a pain. I'm just tired. I stayed up too late last night," Kichu groaned as he lazily walked to the cockpit.
"Haa... Texa, where are we now?" Kichu yawned and asked.
"We just entered the Cosmic Line, Kichu," Texa responded.
Kichu and Roco looked out from the cockpit, their eyes widening in awe. Thousands of spaceships and pods were flying around.
"Woah... So this is the Cosmic Line," Kichu muttered to himself.
"So, where are we going?" Roco asked.
"Umm... Texa, set the destination to Planet Beast and find the best route."
"Rururu... Setting final destination to Planet Beast. Done," Texa confirmed.
"Planet Beast? Where is that?" Roco asked.
"It's a long trip, man. But don't worry, we'll stop at planets along the way. That way, we can also search for your mother," Kichu reassured Roco.
"Yeah... It's okay. But why that planet? Is there someone you need to see?"
"Yeah... There's a lovely man on that planet," Kichu said with a smile. "And I'm going to kill him."
"Kill? Why?"
"Ah... I can't go over all that again. The readers would get bored. Some of my friends are there, and I need to save them before heading back to my planet. As for the killing—just think of it as personal revenge."
"Who are you killing?"
"Do you want to freak out? It's Immortal, one of the Six Devils. He sure knows how to play with other people's pain. So, I'll make sure he knows what true pain means," Kichu said, his voice full of anger.
Roco stared at him and then burst into laughter. He laughed so hard he started coughing.
"You? Killing Immortal?" Roco wheezed.
"Hah, not the first time I've heard that reaction. Laugh all you want now, but soon you'll see his head rolling on the ground," Kichu said confidently.
"Wait... Are you serious? Because once, when I asked my mom about it, she completely froze, as if I had mentioned a monster. That's how bad he is." Roco stopped laughing.
"Yeah, I am. And here's something else for you—I'm going to kill all the Devils. This universe doesn't need them."
"Okay... No shit! Just drop me off before you reach that planet. Are you sure you can do this all alone?"
"Yeah... but I'm not entirely sure. I just have this feeling. Like there's something deep inside of me, and when the time comes, it will protect me."
"Yeah, yeah... Anyway, which planet is next?"
"Texa, take us to the nearest planet."
"Yes, Kichu. The nearest planet is EXO-9. It's a less populated planet, 9 lyce away," Texa responded.
"Alright, then let's—"
Suddenly, the spaceship started to shake violently.
"Alert! Alert! A wormhole has appeared ahead. Reverse boost suggested. Waiting for confirmation," Texa announced.
"Wormhole? Ah, man... Why is this happening to me?" Kichu groaned, rushing to the control panel. He tried to stabilize the ship, but the wormhole's pull was immense.
"Alert! The spaceship is getting closer to the wormhole. Suggested action: activate reverse boost. Waiting for confirmation."
"Wait… what's happening? Are we getting sucked into it?" Roco asked, panicking.
"Can you shut up for a minute?" Kichu snapped, trying to focus.
The ship shook harder, and Roco was thrown against the wall.
"For fuck's sake... Just activate it already!" Kichu yelled, aggressively punching the control monitor.
"Activating reverse boost..."
The shaking momentarily stopped.
"Finally..." Kichu exhaled.
"Activation failed. Problems detected. Suggested action: use Sonic Reverse. Waiting for confirmation."
"NO! Just activate whatever damn skill will get us out of here!" Kichu shouted.
"Activating Sonic Reverse... Rururu... Activation failed. Problems detected."
"Ah, fuck! What do I do? What do I do?!" Kichu muttered, panicking.
"Alert! The wormhole is 2 lyce away. Suggested action: escape immediately."
"Escape how?! When emergencies come, you turn useless, Texa!" Kichu yelled in frustration, sitting down.
"There's nothing I can do… I'm taking the risk. We have to go inside the wormhole, Roco. Roco?"
Kichu turned to look at Roco—he had passed out.
"Ahh... That bastard fainted," Kichu muttered.
The ship suddenly shook violently, and Texa's voice distorted before going silent. Then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the shaking stopped.
Kichu slowly stood up and looked ahead. Nothing. Just an eerie void.
"Texa? Where are we? Texa?"
No response.
The ship suddenly shot forward at an incredible speed, so fast that Kichu lost his balance and started floating due to the zero gravity.
"What the hell?!" Kichu tried to move his arms, reaching for the floor. The moment he touched it, the ship stabilized again, and they emerged from the wormhole.
"Looks like we're out..." Kichu walked to the control panel, looking for their location.
"Texa? Are you there?"
Silence.
Kichu looked up and saw a small planet.
"Maybe we should ask the locals where we are. Roco, wake up!" He landed the spaceship carefully.
"Hey, Roco! Wake up. We've landed."
Roco jolted awake. "What happened?" he asked, panicking.
"Nothing. Stand up and come with me. We need to find out where we are."
"Where? Which planet?"
"I don't know. That's what we need to figure out," Kichu said, opening the door.
Suddenly, Texa's voice returned.
"Rururu... Location cannot be identified."
"Hah... Finally, you talk! Now tell me—where are we, Texa?"
"Searching for location... Location does not exist. Unable to determine current position."
"What?!" Kichu's eyes widened. "How is that possible? I thought you knew every location in the universe!"
"Yes, Kichu, I possess knowledge of all known locations in the universe. However, this place does not appear in any records. To be precise, this place... should not exist."
Kichu and Roco exchanged uneasy glances.
"So... where the hell are we?" Roco asked nervously.
"There's only one way to find out," Kichu said, stepping out of the spaceship.
They spotted a small village in the distance.
"Kichu... this place gives me the creeps. If it's a village, we should at least see some people. But it's completely silent," Roco noted.
"Yeah... I thought the same. What if it's abandoned? Still, there has to be someone here."
As they entered the village, they saw no one.
"It really is abandoned," Roco muttered.
Kichu picked up a fresh fruit from the ground.
"This is fresh. Someone must be here."
He knocked on a door. "We mean no harm! We just need to know where we are!"
Suddenly, all the doors swung open.
Villagers—men, women, even children—charged forward, wielding weapons.
"നിങ്ങൾ ആരാണെന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അറിയേണ്ട ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല. ദൈവം ഞങ്ങളെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പെ പൊയ്ക്കോ!"
Kichu's heart pounded. "Shit... we don't understand them..."
Kichu raised his hands, trying to calm them down.
"I don't understand what you're saying. Please, don't do anything rash. Can anyone tell me this planet's name? Or at least our location? Anything?" Kichu pleaded.
"നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു എന്തെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മനസിലാകുന്നില്ല. ഇനിയും നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ നിന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അക്രമിക്കേണ്ടി വരും!" one of the villagers shouted.
"Ah... How the hell am I supposed to understand them?" Kichu muttered in frustration. He glanced at Roco. "Hey, narrator! Subtitles, please!"
"Looks like words aren't going to work," Roco said, pulling out his gun.
The villagers saw the weapon and instantly charged at them with full force.
"No, no! We need help!" Kichu tried to explain, but they couldn't understand him. Before he could react, multiple villagers swung their branches and ropes at him. Kichu winced as the blows landed, knocking him to the ground.
Roco, seeing Kichu getting overwhelmed, fired a warning shot into the ground. The loud bang echoed through the air, making the villagers scream in fear. Some dropped their weapons and stepped back.
"മതി, നിർത്ത്!"
A commanding voice boomed through the village. The crowd instantly stopped, stepping aside to make way for two people—a man and a woman.
The woman gasped upon seeing Kichu on the ground and immediately ran to him, kneeling beside him.
"Are you okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Kichu looked up in shock. "Oh, thank god! Finally, someone who speaks my language!" He slowly got up.
The man who had spoken earlier, seemingly a leader, was scolding the villagers. He then turned to Kichu and Roco.
"So-rry bot that. I speek little little. My name Forcy Gugu. You name?" the man said in broken language.
"Oh... Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Kichu," Kichu introduced himself.
The woman turned to Roco. "Please put your gun down. They're really afraid."
"They attacked us first! Is this how you welcome guests?" Roco snapped, still gripping his gun.
"Umm... No, but it's not their fault," the woman said hesitantly. "Because... you're not supposed to be here in the first place. You are very lucky to be alive right now."
Kichu and Roco exchanged worried glances.
"What do you mean?" Kichu asked cautiously.
