Tsk-tsk. Reaching Level 10 is no joke…
Ethan let out a soft sigh as he leaned against a wall in the dungeon. The grind to Level 10 had been rough—not necessarily because the enemies were too powerful, but simply because there weren't many monsters to fight in this sprawling dungeon.
Still, he had a reason to smile.
> "Congratulations! You've unlocked the SSS-level talent: Unlimited Beast Realm."
He pressed "Yes" without hesitation.
A series of golden notifications flashed across his vision.
> "Talent Gained: Unlimited Beast Realm."
Details: The range of your Beast Master Space is now unlimited. You may own an unlimited number of summoned beasts. The Beast Master Space is also immune to all external damage. Functions unlocked: (1) Environment Simulation; (2) Combat Simulation. Further features: Locked."
Ethan blinked.
"Wait, locked features?"
What was that supposed to mean?
He reviewed the details again.
Infinite space. Infinite summoned beasts. Indestructible inner world. The description was short and vague but carried immense weight.
He let out a laugh of relief. He had been worrying that one day, as he acquired more summoned beasts, the space inside the Beast Master Realm might become too crowded or unstable.
Now? He had no need to worry at all.
---
Most Beast Masters were lucky if they raised three or four quality summoned creatures in their entire lives.
Why?
Because training a single summoned beast took a massive amount of resources, experience points, time, and care. Trying to juggle too many was like trying to command an army with no officers.
Even worse, in battle, managing multiple beasts simultaneously could become pure chaos. This wasn't some idle online game where monsters didn't hurt each other. Friendly fire could be fatal.
In reality, Beast Masters had to coordinate timing, formation, and strategy. The more beasts they summoned in a single fight, the more difficult it became to manage them.
But Ethan had something others didn't: his rare SSS-level talent could transform even the weakest beasts into lethal threats.
His method?
Quantity over quality, weaponized by talent.
And even if a few of his summoned beasts clashed or got injured, it didn't matter much. The system was designed to automatically retract near-death summons into the Beast Space, preventing permanent loss. As long as numbers overwhelmed the enemy, he would win by sheer force.
Still, he wondered—was this "Unlimited" feature also breaking the usual spiritual limit of how many beasts a person could mentally control?
If so, that was completely insane.
For now, he had only a few summons—Rebel Bone Boy, Queen Ant, and a few lesser ants. But once this talent began to snowball, things would escalate quickly.
He'd think more about that later.
---
Then another sentence from the talent description caught his eye.
> "Beast Master Space cannot be destroyed."
Wait. What? It could be destroyed before?!
He stared blankly at the message. This was news to him.
He had never imagined that his Beast Space—the safe haven where his creatures lived—could even be harmed at all.
What would've happened if it had shattered in battle?
Would his summons vanish? Would their progress be lost?
Luckily, he never had to find out now. The new space was indestructible.
---
Two new functions had also been unlocked:
1. Environment Simulation
This allowed Ethan to change the appearance and atmosphere of the Beast Space.
No longer a dull, empty chamber—it could now become a forest, desert, cavern, or even a volcanic hellscape.
Perfect for mimicking real-world terrain for his beasts to adapt to.
2. Combat Simulation
This was the real game-changer.
Using the memory data of enemies he'd encountered, Ethan could simulate mock battles for his summons—without risk or damage.
Immediately, he tested it by recreating the Scarlet Greatsword, the silver-tier monster from earlier.
He simulated twenty of them.
"Alright, let's see what you've learned."
He dropped Rebel Bone Boy into the simulation.
Bone Boy ran, dodged, got slashed—and lost. Repeatedly.
But every encounter taught him something.
He learned not to expose his fragile abdomen.
He learned to evade, flank, and choose better angles of attack.
---
Combat experience mattered.
Even a powerful weapon was useless if the wielder didn't know how to use it.
Lily Winters had proven that.
Her strength wasn't in stats but in battle-tested instinct.
Even with average numbers, she had fought with grace and precision.
Now, Ethan was giving his summons that same chance—to learn by failure, without dying.
---
After a few rounds, he exited the simulation.
Bone Boy had taken a beating but was more alert than ever.
Ethan set up a small camp and called out Queen Ant to join them.
Tonight, he'd rest.
---
But Bone Boy had other plans.
The moment he was released into the real world, he began prowling the area, sniffing for a rematch.
Clearly, he hadn't forgotten the earlier beatdown by the Scarlet Greatsword.
Ethan laughed softly and patted him on the head.
"Don't worry. Tomorrow's another fight."
---
Elsewhere in the dungeon, Lily had also made solid progress.
After a full day of combat, she had reached Level 8.
The fights were easier now, and her movements more fluid. But she was still only one person.
And without a team, she couldn't let herself fall into deep sleep.
She stayed alert, resting lightly—sword always nearby.
---
As for the group of four from earlier?
They were far behind. Their progress couldn't compare to either Lily's solo brilliance or Ethan's summoned legion.
This was the true advantage of a Beast Master—being a one-man army with tireless companions.
With Bone Boy and Queen Ant standing guard, Ethan slept soundly through the night.
---
Morning came.
The moment Ethan woke up, Bone Boy was already hopping around, eager to fight.
Not long after navigating two corners in the dungeon, they encountered another Scarlet Greatsword.
But this time—things were different.
Instead of lunging at the blade's edge, Bone Boy charged forward and bit directly onto the sword's hilt!
Ethan blinked. "What?"
Then, to his utter disbelief—
> CLANG—CLANG—CLANG!
Bone Boy began swinging the Scarlet Greatsword around in his mouth, as if reenacting the Chaos Cloak Sword Style, cutting up the walls like a whirling beast.
The monster couldn't fight back. Bone Boy had turned its own body into a weapon.
> CRACK!
The sword shattered completely.
Bone Boy spat out the hilt with satisfaction and stood tall like a war hero.
Ethan stared, stunned.
Then it hit him.
"Last night… He was thinking. Planning."
The problem before was clear: with twenty simulated swords attacking at once, whenever Bone Boy bit one, the rest would swarm him.
By grabbing a sword by the hilt and using it to strike the others, he could create space and momentum. One sword became his shield and weapon.
Ethan tested it again.
Back in the simulated Beast Space, he summoned twenty Scarlet Greatswords.
Bone Boy didn't hesitate.
He grabbed the first one by its handle and swung it like a club.
Each time another sword came close, it got repelled or damaged. The remaining monsters couldn't get close.
From barely surviving to effortlessly dominating—it had all changed in a single night.
Combat Simulation had worked.
And more importantly, Bone Boy had evolved mentally. He wasn't just a strong summon—he now had a tactical brain.
Ethan watched in awe.
Just as he was marveling at the results—
> DING!
A sharp, metallic echo resounded through the chamber.
The floor boss had arrived.
