Nolan immediately noticed that several chairs had been scattered around the inn from the pressure of his aura. He walked over to Finn.
"Sorry. I hope I didn't scare you," he said.
Finn shook her head.
"Well, it's not a problem. They were the ones who tried to attack you and ambush you," Finn said.
"But why is that? I still don't really understand why," Nolan said.
"Well, it's because of what a previous S-rank adventurer did to us. There's no need for me to get into the specifics, but it was something that made some of our people fear S-rank adventurers," Finn said.
Nolan smiled.
"But are you scared of me?" he asked.
Finn shook her head.
"No, no, no, no, no," Finn said with a smile on her face.
"One thing I believe is that there are good and bad people. You can't judge someone based on their rank just because you met two S-rank adventurers who committed terrible acts or killed certain people. It doesn't mean every single one of them is evil."
She smiled.
