As they flew closer, Celia and Linda began to falter, their bodies trembling atop the Wyverns.
The sheer pressure emanating from the gathered deities was overwhelming.
They gasped, struggling to breathe, their vision blurring.
Seeing this, Nolan didn't panic. He extended his hands, casting a protective spell around them.
Energy shimmered, forming a shield that countered the crushing aura. Slowly, they stabilized.
"Thanks, Master," the both of them said in unison.
"You know… it's not a problem," Nolan replied calmly.
Every deity's gaze turned toward him immediately, piercing and judgmental.
"What the hell?" one deity hissed. "How dare he bring mortals—an elf and a demi-human—to this sacred gathering?"
"Why is that allowed?" another demanded, voice echoing with authority.
Some of the deities murmured in agreement, confused and annoyed.
"But… he is the new ChronoGod," one finally said. "A human… the first human ever to ascend to deityhood."
