INITIATING SYSTEM...
SYSTEM INITIATED...
[ Greeting host, welcome to the Supreme Omnissiah system. This system will help you reign supreme and even become a god in your new galaxy, work hard! ]
A cold metallic voice containing no emotion echoed in his mind.
"Yes! Finally a system, at least I'm not without strength in this forsaken galaxy."
" What functions do you have system?" I asked.
[ The system have different functions including but not limited to system task, shop, and personal information.
These are the functions that host has currently unlocked. Host can unlock other functions by completing system's advancement task. ]
" I understand, one last question... Who is your creator? "
[ Insufficient authority...
But the host do not need to fear me as I am no construct of those vile gods of this current galaxy. ]
" Seem like I will have to be careful with using the system. "...

Task released
Please check task tab for detail information...
" Open task bar." I said as a transparent blue screen flicker in front of me.
Saving a planet
Difficulty level,, Beginner task
Details ,, A sector capital is under siege by the chaos cultists and xenos with it's hive capital being the only standing loyalists hold. As the OMNISSIAH and a human loyalist you must not let those enemies of humanity triumph, thus it is in your duty cleanse the world of chaos and xeno corruption.
Task reward,, 1000 strong freeblade Knights, STCs from the earliest times of dark age of technology, a cybernetic legion.
---
My breath hitched slightly as I read through the task details on the shimmering blue screen. The words chaos, xenos, and hive capital glared back at me like accusations.
"…Beginner task?" I muttered under my breath, almost incredulous. "That's beginner to you?"
[ Affirmative. Host is advised to adapt swiftly. ]
A faint chill crept down my spine at how casual the system sounded about the slaughter I was being asked to carry out. But I couldn't deny the rewards were… tempting. Freeblade Knights? STCs from the Dark Age of Technology? A cybernetic legion?
If those weren't worth fighting for, nothing was.
I clenched my fists and straightened my back. "Alright then… show me more details. Planet data. Enemy strength. Assets at my disposal."
The screen blinked and shifted, displaying a grainy holographic map of a vast urban hive world. Sections of it were stained red with the words CHAOS OCCUPIED. Others pulsed a sickly green: ORK WAAGH!. Only a single central spire flickered loyalist blue.
[ Hive world: designation Veltrax Primus.
Current loyalist forces: approx. 3 million PDF remnants, undermanned and undersupplied.
Enemy forces: chaos cultists — estimated to be in billions or tens of billions spread across hive cities . Ork horde — estimated to be in tens of millions and growing rapidly.
Loyalist morale: collapsing.
Estimated time remaining before total collapse: 27 standard terran hours. ]
I exhaled slowly, running a hand over my face. "Orks… of course it had to be Orks. And Chaos. This place is a damn nightmare."
[ Host is reminded: no great glory was ever forged without great trial. ]
That earned a bitter laugh out of me. "You sound like a bloody commissar."
[ The system has no recorded data of a 'bloody commissar.' Suggesting: focus on objectives. ]
I squinted at the map and began to study the choke points, the supply lines still open, the failing PDF positions. 27 hours. Not a lot of time… but enough to make a difference, if I was careful.
"Alright, system. You want me to play savior of humanity? Fine. But you're going to help me every step of the way. Deploy every advantage you can give me now. I'm not about to throw myself into that meat grinder empty-handed."
[ Understood. As a high ranking Magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus you command the following units :
— An exploratory fleet consisting of an ark mechanicus and it's escorts ships
—Ground forces consisting of a skitarri legion
— Orbital reconnaissance satellite and reconnaissance drones: grants full tactical visibility of the planet. ]
Three icons lit up at the edge of the screen, ready to activate.
I cracked my neck and grinned despite the nervous knot in my stomach.
"Now we're talking."
I glanced at the screen one more time. Veltrax Primus. My first battlefield.
And maybe… the place where I would begin my ascent to godhood.
"System," I said quietly. "Set course for Veltrax Primus. And prepare the the Legion for landing. We've got a planet to save."
[ Affirmative.
For the Omnissiah.
For Humanity. ]
The screen dissolved into a new flurry of data as the cold metallic voice intoned once more:
[ May the enemies of the Machine God tremble at your coming. Task timer has begun. 26 hours, 59 minutes remaining… ]
Somewhere down there, amidst the ruined hives and burning spires, countless Orks roared for blood and conquest. Their guttural "WAAAGH!" already echoed faintly even up here in orbit.
I allowed myself one last smirk.
"Let's see how loud they're shouting once I arrive."
