The next day, I stroked Princess Spiana's back, occasionally petting her fluffy ears. Beast-eared girls just felt different.
She contentedly let me touch her.
"You could come visit the human world too!" I said. After all, we'd had that special connection—I didn't want to be the guy who just leaves. Plus, I didn't want to get cuckolded.
"But isn't the human world far? What about the kingdom?" she worried.
"You forgot about our magical gadgets?" I said with a smile.
"You mean those amazing technologies?" She remembered how Doraemon's weird tech had fought Daburanda's army.
"Yeah! There's one that lets you cross long distances instantly." I explained briefly.
Her eyes lit up. "So, we can be together anytime?"
"Pretty much. Come find me when you're free." I smiled.
Then, awkwardly, I added, "But, uh, fair warning—I've got quite a few partners?"
"That's fine! The Bauwanko royals used to have many concubines. I don't mind, as long as I'm with you." She said happily.
"By the way, is Shizuka one of your 'concubines'?" she teased.
"Sort of!" I felt weird discussing another woman in bed with her.
"Then, maybe next time, we could all together?" She licked her lips seductively.
Seeing her alluring look, I grinned wickedly. "Oh? Daring to tempt me? See how I punish you!"
"No, no! It still hurts!" She paled in fright.
But I didn't actually go through with it—we just fooled around and got up.
...
After a few days of waiting, the coronation day finally arrived.
Princess Spiana, in her lavish gown, ascended the throne amid a guard of soldiers, becoming the 109th Bauwanko of the kingdom.
The citizens cheered for the new era.
Of course, behind the joy, it was time for us to leave.
...
"Thank you all so much for your help. Your bravery will be forever etched in our kingdom's history," Princess Spiana said to everyone before the Anywhere Door.
"Princess Spiana, make sure you become a great queen!" Even though she was queen now, we still called her princess—it reminded us of our adventure, and she didn't mind; she liked it.
"I'll visit the human world when I can!" she said with a smile.
"We'll welcome you there!" Doraemon replied, knowing I'd told her about the Anywhere Door. He'd also given her a communicator for staying in touch.
As for Chippo's mom, I'd planned to bring her to the human world, but before leaving, I asked if she really wanted to come.
At first, she said she'd go wherever I went, but I sensed her reluctance. Taking someone to a foreign land without thought felt irresponsible, so I made her choose again.
This time, she wavered.
"Sorry, Master!" she said apologetically.
"It's okay!" I told her not to apologize.
So, she stayed, with nowhere else to go, and became a palace maid to accompany Princess Spiana.
With everything settled, we left.
"So, everyone, goodbye!" As we stepped through the Anywhere Door, it faded away.
Princess Spiana looked reluctant but turned and resumed her queenly demeanor.
"Minister, bring today's affairs to my study. I'll handle them soon."
"As you wish, Your Majesty!"
...
Stepping out of the Anywhere Door, we were back in the empty lot.
It'd been a while since we'd been home, so we didn't linger—everyone grabbed their souvenirs from the kingdom and headed back.
Princess Spiana had offered to share the treasures from the giant statue, but we all refused firmly. Even money-loving Suneo knew this adventure had been fulfilling enough. We came for the thrill, not the gold—especially since the kingdom needed funds to rebuild after the war.
Still, we took some things: Shizuka got outfits, Suneo and Gian some unique toys, Doraemon some snacks (he missed dorayaki). As for me, I'd already "taken" the kingdom's queen—what more? Plus, Doraemon's stuff was basically mine too.
We all headed home excitedly with our hauls.
"Mom! I'm back!" I shouted, seeing our familiar house.
The door opened, and Mom—Nobi Tamako—came out to greet me.
"Nobita, you're home!"
"Mom, I missed you!"
She hugged me, pouring out her feelings.
For this adventure, we hadn't used the Time Machine—just said we were going on a trip. I didn't like the idea of creating another me—it felt like some weird cuckold thing. So, we avoided it when possible. With Doraemon vouching, the parents trusted him to watch us.
As for school? Doraemon used the "Japan Standard Calendar" gadget to turn those days into holidays. Good thing this kingdom didn't have makeup days, or we'd be swamped!
"Okay, okay! Mom, Doraemon's still outside!" I said, feeling the complexity of her growing dependence. Our relationship was subtle, but I was glad for her care.
"Oh, right! I got carried away!" she said embarrassedly.
Doraemon smiled at the warm scene.
"Alright! I made your favorites for dinner tonight!"
"And Doraemon, I prepared your dorayaki!"
Regaining her composure, Mom said with a smile.
"Dorayaki?" Doraemon drooled.
You could imagine his torment after finishing his pocket stash in the kingdom—no more there.
I'd suggested stocking up in his 4D pocket, but he said dorayaki goes bad if stored too long—can't buy too much. But the pocket stops time, right? What's the difference? I was baffled. He rambled about texture and color... I couldn't understand a foodie's logic.
Now, hearing "dorayaki," he rushed inside, yelling to start dinner.
Mom and I just looked at each other and laughed.
