A month after Harrison Thompson passed away, Marian was devastated that Harris and Nicole's wedding hadn't had a date yet. She invited Nicole for lunch in the newly opened fine-dining restaurant in the city, to which Nicole agreed. She always has a good relationship with her soon-to-be mother-in-law.
"We have to do something about your wedding with my son, Harris," Marian said, having lunch with Nicole.
"I don't know what to do, Marian. Harris is just so cold whenever he is around me. Until now, I think he is still in love with the woman he worked with in the hotel," Nicole said helplessly.
"Don't be funny, Nicole," Marian laughed. "Harris has a playboy history. He is used to dating and changing women like he changes clothes. But not with you. He respects you because our family has been close friends since our great-grandparents. You just need to work on getting his trust."
"Marian, we've been engaged for two years, yet nothing happens between us. Harris doesn't find me attractive, which gives me insecurity." Nicole is a highly desirable woman. She used to have men chase him, but not Harris. After their engagement, her confidence lay low because of how cold Harris treats her. Sometimes, he doesn't look at her, even when she overdresses during their date.
"Don't be. Look at yourself in the mirror. Besides being an heir to Hudson Group, you are one of the most beautiful and sexy women in this city. Don't let Harris's lack of attention dampen your desire to have a family with him. He may have taken his time cautiously because this is new to him. He was used to having women cling to his arms to get him to bed. And you are different, Nicole. But trust me, you'll get there."
"Do you think so?"
"Of course, and it's why I asked you to meet. You better step up your game." Now that her husband is gone, Marian's only goal is to seal her son's union to Hudson's sole heir, Nicole. Which was also her husband's only desire before he passed away. Harris had promised his dad to keep the legacy his Dad and Mom built for years.
Nicole raised an eyebrow, confused. "What do you have in mind?"
"If Harris doesn't make the first move, you will. You need to get pregnant for him to hasten your wedding. Do you understand?"
Nicole gasped, her mouth wide open, hearing Marian's suggestion. "Marian, isn't that too much?"
"It's not. You'll get married and have kids anyway. Doing it earlier would be the same. We will have it look natural like you didn't make much of an effort at all."
Now, Nicole was even more curious. "How would you do that?"
"Not me. You," Marian said, pointing at Nicole.
"Oh, okay. How do you suggest I do that? Marian, I was used to being chased by men, not the other way around."
"Well, it's time you make a move. Invite Harris for a drink, just the two of you. Tell him you badly need a companion since you don't have one, and as your friend and fiance, only him, you can think of going together for a drink. You could reason out you have been stuck in your company for quite a long time and need a break."
"That sounds doable to me. And after that, what do we do?"
"You have to find a way to put this in his drink," Marian showed a powder pack.
"Marian," Nicole called out, her voice raised. She forced Marian to put the powder back in her purse."This is too much. Are we drugging Harris?" She asked, almost in a whisper, avoiding people to hear them.
"You're overreacting, Nicole. This mild drug makes him drowsy but wouldn't make him sleep. This isn't a new trick, but the good thing is Harris wouldn't suspect you'll do the trick to him. He always sees you as a demeanor woman he grew up with," Marian said, showing an evil smirk.
"Marian, are you sure about this?"
"Absolutely," Marian said with conviction. "This is the best way to get Harris to marry you."
The following weekend, Nicole visited Harris in his penthouse, which surprised Harris since she hadn't called him before the visit.
"What brought you here?" Harris asked as Nicole approached the living room.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you, Harris," Nicole leaned in, kissing Harris on the cheek. "I need some company," she said frankly. She thought it would be easier to say it immediately instead of delaying it.
"Well, I have little free time today. Is there anything you want? Coffee? Tea?"
"No, thank you," she declines his offer politely. "Actually, I want to invite you tonight for a drink. I've been stuck in my company for so long now that I don't even remember when I last took a break. Please join me tonight, drink, dance, and enjoy. I don't have anybody I can ask out, and maybe since you are my friend, you can spare some time with me," Nicole said, pleading.
Even though Harris never had a feeling for Nicole, he still thinks Nicole is his friend since they grew up together. Her family has done so much for them; going out with her for a night wouldn't compensate. So, he agreed. "What time? Do I have to pick you up?"
"You don't have to. I'll have my driver take us to the club, and then he'll wait. We will never know if we will be too tipsy to drive, right?"
"Sure. So, I'll see you tonight."
Nicole succeeded with the plan that Marian taught her. Harris was drugged and drowsy, so he took him to her mansion, where she lived alone. She gathered all her strength before starting the final move. Undress Harris, kiss him and seduce him to kiss her back, and eventually fuck her like agreed with Marian.
Nicole thanked Marian for giving her the idea, as she loved what Harris would do to her every time he was on drugs. She dated several men, but none of them compared to Harris. His physique was one of a kind; she would stare at his naked body for a while in awe before devouring him. He was so huge that her eyes widened whenever he slid it inside her and pounded her mercilessly.
She became addicted to Harris and would find a way to get him to drink with her alone. She gets excited to remove his clothes, kiss and touch every inch of his body. Give him a blow job and suck every drop of his juice. Nicole has done it repeatedly like she was a pro and would lie whenever Harris asked if she did it on purpose.
But after a year, still, she hasn't gotten pregnant. Until she decided to consult an expert. Dr. Alice Jackson, her OB-GYN and a fertility expert.
"Doc, it's nice to see you again. I am here not just for my yearly check-up. I also want you to check my fertility," Nicole said hesitantly. "My fiance and I are planning on having a baby soon, so it would be better to check my fertility now," she lied.
"I'm glad to know that, Ms. Hudson. You are indeed correct; we better check your fertility now," Dr. Jackson said, delighted to be of service to one of her long-time patients.
As Dr. Jackson repeated the test, it showed the same result. Nicole has an infertility problem.
"Don't be devastated, Nicole; I can suggest some procedures we can do to help you," Dr. Alice said in one of their discussions about her infertility problem.
Dr. Alice did everything she could but to no success. Two years passed until Nicole gave up. She accepted her fate that she could not give Harriet a child, an heir to both of their empires. Nicole felt worthless as a woman, which lowered her self-esteem whenever she thought about it.
