Chapter 100: becoming a complete member at black lagoon
Hearing her state that the remaining deal will be discussed at the hotel, Kageyama agrees and commends Rock for his work. Seeing that Rock is not moving, Fujiwara reminds him to get moving.
"Okajima, what are you waiting for quickly get on the car…"
But the salary man rock removes his necktie and in turn reminds Kageyama that he was declared dead. With steadfastness, Rock declares that he is now Rock, not Okajima Rokuro that they know.
Accepting his resignation, Kageyama tells Fujiwara to drive him. Having Boris stop her car next to Rock, Balalaika apologizes for having him speak with his foolish bosses, remarking that it would be a waste for him to remain a Japanese salaryman.
At that same time she stopped in front of Vicky and said. "Thank you for your hard work. I saw you anticipating the moves of others and thoughts early and giving me some good suggestions. We made a bigger profit."
Before she departs, she tells rock and Vicky to come to her anytime if he needs help. Driving away, Fujiwara wonders what happened to Rock to make him leave his old life, but Kageyama is unconcerned and notes that Rock's gaze was that of a dead man and non managerial material. \
This time Vicky moved back to stand on the side of Dutch and Benny beside Revy as he was already part of this group before rock. Dutch asks Rock what he will do now, with Rock smiling and answering that he is no longer a hostage and has nowhere else to go.
Smiling in turn, Revy informs him that a certain company is looking for a new sailor, to which Rock jokes that he does not mind doing illegal activities at times. Just like that rock joined the group and Vicky also became a part of the group.
At the same time other players are also at different parts of the world moving here. After all, the entire plot that just happened has only happened within few hours from nearly a day. On the other hand they should be currently be caught by the patrolling guards.
May be they have gotten new identities and escaped. Not all of them might be fugitives. Some might be undercover agents that are assigned to come to Roanapur to investigate a group of some other things. Not all people would receive the same quest.
Vicky on the other hand is more carefree as he was not worried about many things because of his preparations and back up plans. More importantly he knows the plot and he was ready for the things.
After joining the black lagoon company their first task is related to robbing a ship of its goods. Naturally it is what pirates do. They are after all pirates that disguise as a normal sea trading company.
Rock never changes from his white collar appearance and Revy was quite angry that he did not wear the 'aloha' shirt she bought for him. Fortunately she did not buy some stupid shirt for Vicky instead she bought some cook glasses for him.
Rock has a funny expression looking the gifts the two people got. The glasses that she gave Vicky are not bought but came free for this "aloha" shirt. She thought that giving Vicky free things might make him angry and they can fight.
Unfortunately the glasses might be cheap but they fit really well for Vicky. Vicky looked at her with a look that made her want to beat him up. Unfortunately Dutch said that she should not fight in the office.
So she can only stay silent. Vicky was enjoying his normal life as they went to rob the ship. Vicky is just a sailor that doesn't have to work all the time unless he was ordered to do something. The big ship did not listen till Revy shot an RPG at the ship.
As they shopped Revy went to rob the ship. Vicky naturally followed suit and went to rob based on the instructions of Dutch. Unlike rock, Vicky did not have too many thoughts or restrictions. He simple took what he wanted and what was asked. That is all.
This ship is not something they wanted to catch but their duty is only to intercept. So they just got what they wanted while the client came over to take over the ship. Vicky got back with full load along with Revy.
At this moment Revy felt like she has met a kinder spirit that is very similar to her. Even with the plot that is moving her towards rock she still liked Vicky more. It is a strange form of love that cannot be explained with words.
They returned back too Roanapur to the black lagoon office room before lunch time and Revy wanted to eat something and she dragged Vicky and rock along with her. It is not to treat them but to let them queue up to get food for her.
She is growing those globes on her chest using the china bowls at Kao Khan Shop… Vicky took it easy to get the food and got one bowl for her. But she did not pay in the name of being a senior to them. Rock got it bad because all the food was paid by him.
Vicky would not pay the money. Naturally the soft permission rock got the chance to treat his seniors. Vicky joined earlier than him by a few hours. Technically he is his senior as well. So both Revy and Vicky suppressed rock.
In the office, Dutch went out to do his own thing and rock started being nosey. After reprimanded by Revy he calmed down. As for where Dutch go, Vicky knows. It is about getting a new work for them.
This time it is a wild goose hunt and they are going to be the wild goose. Vicky looked at the available guns and other materials carefully. Vicky went to Benny to talk about software and some other good stuff.
