Chapter 58: mark of magic (intermediate level)
The Excalibur was once broken and mended in the lake here by the lady of the lake as well. All these things considered as long as he purifies the lake of this island of Avalon, he entire island of Avalon would be purified with everything else.
With this thought in his mind he took out the previous map again to find the location of the hidden lake of this island of Avalon. It is easy to find and he quickly move to that place. He did not take the Excalibur with him.

The blood like lake started to boil and the surround place started to tremble. The 6 powerful ghastly figures released a painful cry and started to twist and tremble on the spot. They lost their power and fell into the lake.
They looked like fishes that fell into boiling water alive. But they could not come out. It is as if they are bound by something. The boiling water started to lose the red color and become clear. The change is really fast and the lake started to look pure and clear.
Usually if a drop of color ink falls into water it would change the color of water. But now something opposite to that happened and the lake returned back to normal. At the same time the surround ground and trees started to show changes.
They started to lose their corruption and the 6 figures in the lake are being burnt by strange white light in the water. It is as if they are being purified. Dobby did not leave immediately. This is because this place has become chaotic and he cannot leave.
Slowly the white light started to shine brightly and the entire island is enveloped in this white light of purification. It is really fast. All the connected creatures started to change to normal appearance after losing the corruption.
The process is not long or short but it took few hours. Dobby can only stay on the side sitting on a rock hiding carefully. He only stopped hiding when the system gave him notification about the completion of the special missions.

With the entire thing complete Dobby slowly removed the invisibility cloak and 6 beautiful spirits came out of the lake at this moment. They are no longer ghastly but look really beautiful. Their beauty cannot be described with simple words.
"Thank you for saving us. Thank you for letting our sister rest in peace. We owe you our gratitude. So we all combined and wanted to give you a blessing. We sense that you have a mark of magic of basic level.
As spirits we can improve it to intermediate level directly. You have strong magic but with intermediate level mark of magic you will have it easy to control the magic of various elements easily."
As they spoke there is a colorful light emitted from them and fell on Dobby. The light integrated into the mark he received before and quickly entered into the state of upgrading. It quickly evolved into a different mark of magic of intermediate level.
Dobby did not get any chance to speak but he got the benefits. After giving the benefits the spirits directly left without talking. They should hate all other being right now. After all King Arthur and Merlin also came here like this.
They don't want to fall into something like this like their sister again and die with sad heart. So they don't want to speak to strangers even if that person is their savior. So they left really quickly after giving what they wanted to give.
Dobby on the other hand did not look sad as he got what he wanted. Even though it is unexpected he got something good and he at least have something basic that can let him quickly reach the top without any problem.
When everyone start at the same time to learn magic or other things with the intermediate mark of magic he will be able to advance much faster than others at the same level. This would give him extra time to improve to the higher level which was saved at the starting point.
At the same time being a genius he can get some sponsorships in the name of being a genius with his higher level of understanding with the intermediate mark of magic. Also it is not just magic but any other energy based on the world.
For example he enters the hunter X hunter world then this intermediate mark of magic would help him in learning and using the Nen energy.
