Bianca had made up her mind. For her mental health and the safety of her unborn child, she decided it would be better to live alone for now rather than stay with Adrian and feel restless and uncomfortable all the time.
Adrian's heart sank the moment Bianca said she wanted to live alone. He wanted to refuse her request, but deep down he knew that what Bianca needed most right now was comfort and peace.
He rubbed his temples, which had started aching from all the stress and thoughts swirling in his mind.
"You wanted to live alone? Did my presence make you that uncomfortable?" Adrian asked, his voice filled with hurt and pain.
Bianca bit her lip, slightly startled by the sadness in his expression. During her time working at Adrian's company, she had rarely seen him show any emotion other than anger.
