"I am home!" Gohan smiled as he entered the house. He let out a tired sigh as he smelled the scent of warm food from the kitchen. He walked into the living room and smiled.
"Goten?" Gohan looked at Goten with surprise as he saw his little brother helping Chichi with the food. HGe was handing her spoons and everything as they prepared the table.
"Oh, hi, big bro. Sit down, the food is ready," Goten smiled as he waved at Gohan. Gohan was, in his opinion, the most wasted character ever in Dragon Ball.
Akira Toriyama had a chance to pass on the MC status to Gohan in the Cell Arc, but then he did the shit with not training for seven years. Then pulled out the absorbed by Buu, then they did ot train after the unlocked potential.
Then he randomly got a new form from seeing his adopted father being knocked out? Like, how is that even possible?
Piccolo did not even die from Cell Max. Yet, Gohan had unlocked a form on par with Ultra Instinct and Vegeta's Ultra Ego. That was some bullshit that Akira Toriyama cooked up.
But Rudo shrugged. Not everyone is on the level of Goda.
"Wow, it's surprising to see you helping. I figured you would be out having fun with Trunks," Gohan said with a smile as he placed his bag down. He was 16 and going to tutoring.
He will be attending school in a couple of months and needs to study if he wants to pass. Goten rolled his eyes discreetly, looking at the nerd as he pulled out a book from his bag.
No wonder he could never surpass Goku and Vegeta in the end. No wonder Goku was the one who had saved the multiverse from certain destruction.
His son was a failure!
Goten went and helped Chichi serve the food before sitting down next to her as they began eating. They passed, and they finished the food, and Gohan went upstairs to his room.
Goten also went to his room, accompanied by Chichi, who tugged him in before kissing him on his cheek. Goten looked up and smiled, his palm touching Chichi's cheek.
"Goodnight, mum. I love you," Goten said, closing his eyes as Chichi left, a smile on her face.
The next day.
"I am going!" Gohan exclaimed as he sprinted out before flying towards his tutor in the city. Goten and Chichi bid him farewell, with Goten coming outside after helping Chichin with her chores.
"Okay, how should I train when I can't put strain on my body without tens of times the gravity of Earth?" Goten asked himself with a thinking face as he sat on a boulder near the river.
His eyes turned purple, and Goten suddenly gained a lot of inspiration as he activated the form. Goten grasped his Ki and then lowered it in volume and spirit.
Goten did that until his Ki was weaker than even a human with a power level of 5. His body turned weak, and Goten felt like he could begin training in this state.
"So this form allows my mind to think faster and more productively. It also gives me seemingly perfect Ki control and Body control along with a 10 times power boost," Goten examined.
"Hmm... The 10 times boost is nothing, but if I can stack it on Super Saiyan, it's a different deal," Goten said with hope as he got down and began doing push-ups.
Chichi looked out from the window and smiled as she saw Goten do push-ups. She did not disturb him as he had helped her with chores. Besides, he wants him to become strong.
Thought not to be a training maniac that would rather leave 24 hours a day instead of staying home with his wife and family.
Outside, Goten struggled to even do 10 push-ups. His arms were shaking like a level 10 earthquake was happening. His face contorted before he suddenly broke past his limit.
If his power level were a 4, currently. His power level suddenly grew and became 6. Goten pushed himself up and then kept going until he surpassed 25.
"Why is my body doing this? Is this my form or my body changed somehow?" Goten questioned himself before shrugging. He continued training.
Goten, of course, realised his body had changed somehow, but he did not care since it only seemed to bring him a bunch og benefits. Like his body not tiring or his energy draining.
After a couple of hours of training, Goten concluded why it was happening. After hours of training, he figured something out about his abilities.
His regeneration ability allowed him to recover energy at a rate ten times greater than what he had expended. For example, if Goten had an energy level of 500 and used 50 points, he would regenerate 500 points of energy.
This applied not only to energy but also to physical stamina and healing. Even after hours of training that would typically strain muscles, Goten felt neither soreness nor fatigue.
"Aren't I an infinite battery?" Goten asked himself as sweat oozed down his forehead. His arms shook under him as he completed a set of 10 push-ups.
Each time Goten felt his power increase to a power level of 10. He condensed it back to 4 and restarted his training until he gained a power level of 10.
How Goten kept a tab on his power level is because his mind had calculated it. He only knew this when he had his form activated, though. Without it, his mind dulled and returned to normal.
It's as if the form also increased his IQ by 10 times its base value. Goten did not know if it was true, but if it was. It looked like he had a reason to study, after all.
Goten suddenly felt a wet and cold tower on his forehead. He looked up with surprise, only to smile as Chichi wiped the sweat away from his eyes.
"Here, drink this. It's cold and refreshing," Chichi handed Goten a glass of freshly squeezed Orange juice. Goten stood up, took it and drank all the juice in seconds.
Goten released a comfortable sigh, thanking Chichi before the two headed into the house. They cleaned before sitting down on the couch and watching TV.
Chichi looked at Goten, and her nose twitched as she could smell the sweat from him. She sighed before standing up and lifting Gotne, who looked at her with confusion.
"Let's go, we need a bath to clean you from the dirt and grime," Chichin said, walking up the stairs and entering a shower. Goten blushed, his pupils contracting as he looked at Chichi.
Chichi placed Goten onto the floor before beginning to undress. Something ose in Goten's pants.
And it's not the shield hero!
