"Maybe that transformation of yours could be used to hide your identity in the future," Kasha said, stroking her chin thoughtfully.
"Hide my identity? How exactly would that work?" Axis asked.
"First of all, once you transform, your hair turns golden. And if you don't let your Ki wrap around your body, the green eyes and golden hair would make it difficult for unfamiliar people, even psykers to recognize you. It's perfect for undercover missions requiring anonymity," Kasha explained.
If he were to carry out covert espionage operations, no one would be able to identify him.
Plus, his second transformation, where his muscles expanded without increasing his height, would dramatically alter his appearance.
His physique would more than double in size, yet it wouldn't be obvious who he really was.
It was practically a flawless disguise.
"Forget it! I'm not interested in doing that kind of thing," Axis shook his head.
Stealth and disguise simply weren't in a Saiyan's nature.
Saiyans weren't cut out for sneaky business like this. Even though Axis was technically a transmigrator, at his core, he was still a proud Saiyan.
"Suit yourself.
"I was just putting it out there. Who knows, maybe someday you'll be forced to do some dirty or shady work where you'll need to hide your identity. That muscle form could come in handy," Kasha said.
Axis just scrunched his nose mild disdain and said nothing.
After mastering the full-power Super Saiyan form, the next stage was naturally Super Saiyan 2.
Super Saiyan 2 had twice the power of regular Super Saiyan, meaning it multiplied base power by a terrifying factor of 100.
The sub Super Saiyan transformations—Stage One, Two, Three, and Full Power—had no real synergy with the Legendary Super Saiyan form.
In fact, the power of the Legendary form could actually enhance the third stage of regular Super Saiyan.
It helped reduce Ki consumption in that form and didn't slow him down much either.
But starting with Super Saiyan 2, things were different.
It marked a turning point, a watershed moment in raw strength.
Super Saiyan 2 could be stacked on top of the Legendary Super Saiyan form. When triggered in that state, it granted power far beyond the regular Legendary form. The body retained the massive build of the Legendary form, but the hair stood completely on end and the entire body became wreathed in crackling lightning.
Above Super Saiyan 2, there were also Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan 4, and even Super Saiyan God, all of which could be layered onto the Legendary form.
In Dragon Ball Heroes and several video games, Broly had demonstrated Legendary versions of Super Saiyan 2 and even Super Saiyan 3. In Dragon Ball Heroes, he went as far as showing the Legendary Super Saiyan 4 state.
At that 4‑D theme-park in japan, Broly even had a Super Saiyan God transformation.
However, Axis still had no idea how to achieve Super Saiyan 2.
He couldn't infinitely increase his rage at will and hope for the best.
One of the conditions for achieving Super Saiyan 2 was a drastic surge in anger.
Gohan, when he first unlocked the form, had become violently aggressive, completely different from his usual personality.
He could have killed Cell, but chose to torture him instead. That delay resulted in Goku's death.
Both Goku and Vegeta managed to master Super Saiyan 2 during the seven-year gap between the Cell Saga and the Majin Buu Saga.
Axis could only rely on time and training to break through.
Damn it!
If only he could unleash his full fury, with his Legendary Super Saiyan giving boost to the rage, he could have easily entered Super Saiyan 2.
Then he could stack it atop the Legendary form.
But for now, he had no choice but to follow the standard path of training and let his power naturally evolve into Super Saiyan 2.
After all, as a Legendary Super Saiyan, Axis had no limits to his body or potential.
"Kasha, I heard the Emperor found two more Primarchs in recent years. Is that true?" Axis asked as he trained, sweat pouring from his body inside the gravity chamber.
"Yes, that's right. In recent years, the Emperor recovered two more Primarchs. One of them came from a grassland world still stuck in a medieval cold weapons era. The world's technologically primitive, with no modern firearms at all.
"His name is Jaghatai Khan, the fifth Primarch. After his return, the Fifth Legion was officially renamed the White Scars," Kasha explained.
"Jaghatai Khan of the White Scars, huh? And who's the other Primarch?" Axis asked.
"The other one was the Eleventh Primarch, recovered a few years before Khan. Supposedly, he's deeply interested in researching strange things.
"He even advocated for peaceful coexistence with some xenos.
"My father talked to me about him a few times.
"He doesn't seem to like the guy very much," Kasha said.
The Emperor's attitude toward his Primarchs were far from uniform.
His most beloved son had always been Horus, whom he kept by his side constantly.
As for the others, the Emperor's behavior toward them was more or less the same. Distant, measured.
But then there was the Eleventh Primarch, the one who advocated for peace with xenos and was even fond of researching xeno technology.
Axis remembered reading theories like that before he transmigrated into this universe.
According to some accounts, the reason why the Second and Eleventh Primarchs were expunged from the records was this: one had died at the hands of the Xenos of Rangdan and the other had been captured and imprisoned by the Emperor for studying xeno tech.
Supposedly, deep within the palace on Holy Terra, there existed a prison cell marked with the number 11.
That cell was now empty, and whether it had ever truly held the Eleventh Primarch remained an unsolved mystery.
Judging by the timeline, Jaghatai Khan had already returned, and Lion El'Jonson had come back more than twenty years earlier.
Which meant, the Rangdan Campaign was about to erupt again.
His father, Russ, along with Lion El'Jonson and Jaghatai Khan, would soon clash with the xenos in the Second Rangdan Great Battle.
That battle was said to be extraordinarily brutal.
Rumors claimed that an entire Astartes Legion had been completely annihilated.
It was likely the Eleventh Legion that had been wiped out at that time.
Some even speculated that after this battle, the Ultramarines skyrocketed in number and became the largest of all Space Marine Legions.
There were two reasons for this:
First, the Dark Angels, First Legion, had suffered devastating losses during that campaign.
Second, some members of the Eleventh Legion had been subjected to mind-wiping and were then assimilated into the Ultramarines as Guilliman's sons.
This massive infusion of manpower led to the Ultramarines' sudden population boom.
At this point in the timeline, the only Primarchs who had yet to be recovered were those of the 8th, 12th, 19th, and 20th Legions.
The Eighth was the 'Space Batman'.
The Nineteenth was the Raven Lord, Corvus Corax, ruler of the Raven Guard.
The Twelfth… was the infamous Angron.
Axis wondered, when Angron eventually returned, would the Emperor try to remove the Butcher's Nails?
Without the Butcher's Nails affecting him, what path would Angron have taken instead?
Axis had long since altered the course of history by transmigrating here.
The butterfly effect was in full swing.
"Ah, that's right. There's something I have to tell you," Kasha said. "My father told me that once all the Primarchs have been recovered, he plans to convene a grand council at the front lines.
"It will be to discuss a certain… matter involving psychic power."
She wanted to give Axis a heads-up.
There was a reason she'd asked him to conceal his Ki.
"A full Primarch council? That does sound interesting," Axis replied.
"You might not be aware of this, but right now Mortarion of the Fourteenth Legion and Rogal Dorn of the Seventh are strongly opposed to Magnus' Librarius Project.
"They've even reported to my father, claiming that studying psychic power is blasphemous. Among the Primarchs, only Russ, Sanguinius, and Jaghatai Khan openly support Magnus' initiative.
"The rest remain ambiguous, neither supporting nor objecting to the idea.
"My father plans to wait until all the Primarchs are back before making a collective decision on the matter," Kasha explained.
If the Primarchs were already that wary of psychic power, then they'd be even more distrustful of Ki.
If Axis revealed the nature of his abilities, Mortarion and Dorn would surely turn against him.
At present, Magnus and his Thousand Sons were under the most pressure.
But with the backing of Russ, Sanguinius, and Khan, the opposition wasn't overwhelming, at least for now.
Axis nodded.
Thanks to his presence, Russ hadn't joined Dorn's faction in rejecting psychic power outright.
That had weakened the opposition somewhat.
That day, Axis and his group had just completed a planetary assault and brought another Imperial world into compliance when they received an urgent message from Russ.
"Something wrong, old man?" Axis asked.
He'd rushed to Russ' flagship immediately after receiving the message with Kasha.
"Something serious came up. This time, we've hit a real tough one, tougher than anything we've faced before," Russ said, staring down at the mission report in his hand.
"That sounds like fun rather than something serious. You know I've been waiting for something like this," Axis said eagerly.
Russ briefly galced at Axis from the corner ofhis eye. Of course, his dear son would say that.
"Rangdan are back.
"After being defeated by us 27 years ago, those damned xenos have returned," Russ growled.
Not long ago, several frontier worlds of the Imperium had once again come under attack by xenos bastards, the same Rangdan coalition that had clashed with the Imperium decades prior.
"The Rangdan? And we're being sent to fight them again?" Axis asked.
"That's right. The Emperor has ordered the Sixth Legion, the White Scars of the Fifth, and the Dark Angels of the First to join forces against the xenos," Russ replied.
"Well, isn't that good news," Axis said, a creepy grin creeping across his face, "I've been itching to move around a bit.
"Hey, can I destroy their homeworld?"
"You may," Russ answered, "This time, we're using our secret weapon."

I seem to have messed up the schedule time with the chapters! Sorry!
