As a god presiding over all pleasure, joy, and beautiful things in the universe, she(he) had never experienced anything like this before.
Ever since her birth, she had tasted every delight the universe could offer, but this time was an exception.
Unlike the excitement brought on by drugs or other sensory stimulants, this feeling was something else entirely.
It was a thrill produced spontaneously within the body, impossible to suppress.
What's more, this excitement carried a hint of savagery, an intense urge for destruction, and overwhelming evil.
This was the pleasure of battle!
The thrill of destruction, purest evil, and most primitive barbarity.
The entity presiding within the Palace of Pleasure climbed from her grand bed, her gaze shifting to the material realm.
She wanted to see exactly what kind of pleasure had managed to catch her (his) attention.
At that moment, after destroying the planet beneath his feet, Axis stood among the shattered remnants, unleashing another surge of energy that reduced the planetary debris to powder.
"Haha! Oh nononononono! I really want to destroy a few more planets, nononononono! It would be even better if I had a truly powerful opponent right now!" Axis let out an exhilarated roar.
He had thought that after transforming into a Legendary Super Saiyan, his mind would be consumed by endless rage, but reality proved otherwise.
In the Dragon Ball world, Saiyans with the Legendary Super Saiyan constitution did not lose their reason completely after transforming.
They could still speak.
They retained self-awareness, but that self was driven by a far more intense sensory impulse.
If Axis didn't have a unique brain implant and heart, didn't have potent psychic power, and didn't have his powerful soul as support,
He, too, would have sunk completely into this overwhelming euphoria, rampaging and destroying everything in sight.
Axis could clearly sense that whenever he let loose his Ki, his brain secreted massive amounts of dopamine.
His whole body would be flushed with excitement.
In this state, if you had to compare the Saiyan to anything, it would be like a junkie high on drugs.
It was, witout a doubt, a bizarre experience.
'So this was the so-called Legendary Super Saiyan?'
He'd expected it to be like turning into the Hulk, but it turned out to be something else entirely.
No wonder Broly always seemed unable to resist transforming in every fight.
By this point, the landing craft carrying Kasha and Mader had flown far into the distance.
"Miss Kasha, I think we need to act now. Lord Axis must have lost control," Mader said, a bit anxious.
Kasha frowned, gazing at the gold-green figure on the holo-screen, then decisively shook her head.
"If he's truly lost control, then we have no way to escape anyway.
"Still, we definitely need to contact Axis, he's causing way too much trouble," Kasha replied.
It wasn't as if the Imperium of Man didn't have planet-destroying weapons; in fact, humanity during the Golden Age had weapons that could collapse stars.
But for this kid to do such a thing alone was truly terrifying!
And as psykers, both she and Mader were all too aware of just how terrifying Axis was at this moment.
This guy was now more demonic than a daemon!
Kasha immediately focused her psychic power and attempted to connect to Axis.
The instant she made contact, her face flushed bright red.
'Such an exhilarating sensation!'
The sensory overload Axis was now experiencing flowed to Kasha through their connection.
'Why? Why was it so intense?'
"Ah—Axis, you—you bastard, what on earth are you doing?" Kasha asked, a bit irritated.
She quickly shut out that overwhelming sensory feedback, as she didn't want to make a fool out of herself.
Strange! Didn't Axis say this transformation was about wild rage?
Why, then, was it such an intense high?
"Holy shit, Kasha, I was wrong.
"This isn't what I thought it would be like at all!
"The Legendary isn't what I expected," Axis replied.
"If you're still sane, then stop messing around and get back to the ship! You've been in vacuum for more than an hour already!" Kasha said.
Even a Primarch couldn't survive long in the vacuum of space.
But Axis looked completely unbothered, his body wrapped in a green-gold protective aura that shielded him quite effectively.
"Hehehehehe! Honestly, I still want to blow up another planet," Axis said, and Kasha could feel he meant it.
"Enough already!
"What about the one you already destroyed?!"
"Come on! Only one more!
"Oopsie!!" Axis raised his hand, aiming at a planet several astronomical units away, and unleashed a full-powered energy blast.
This attack almost completely emptied his Ki in a single outburst.
A terrifying green energy beam, trailing a comet-like tail thousands of meters long, slammed into a dead planet several AU's away.
The instant it struck, the planet was engulfed in a green radiance and exploded in a dazzling firework.
BOOM! BOOM!
As the explosion faded, Axis returned to his normal size, his hair shifting from gold-green back to black.
He had finally vented all the energy inside him, he felt satisfied.
This legendary Super Saiyan transformation was just so… undignified.
So it all came down to powerful sensory stimulation.
No wonder Broly and Kale always acted like utter maniacs after transforming!
In this state, only by destroying more planets, or defeating strong enemies and completely releasing all the Ki within, could he feel true satisfaction and relief.
Kasha secured Axis, who was now flailing in the vacuum, with her psychic power, and brought him into the landing craft.
After returning, Axis stretched his body, then contentedly settled into the ship.
Right now, Axis felt as if he'd just finished an ultramarathon of several hundred kilometers, then taken a relaxing hot shower.
Mader now looked at Axis with an expression of utter disbelief.
The power of their Wolf Lord was not just a bit beyond a Primarch, it was on another level entirely!
Primarchs were strong, but still within the limits of humanity.
But blowing up two planets? That was something else.
And even more unbelievable was that, he'd done it from several astronomical units away! A single AU was the distance from Terra's sun to Holy Terra itself!
This attack had a greater range than most weapons on an Imperial battleship.
If their Wolf Lord ever stood on the deck of a warship and fired off one of these blasts, wouldn't he be even deadlier than the battleship itself?
At that moment, Mader looked at Axis with a face full of both awe and fear.
That feeling just now hadn't been a lie, Lord Axis had practically become the embodiment of evil for a moment.
In fact, to him, Axis of that moment felt even more sinister than those daemons of the Warp.
No, that had to be a mistake.
Lord Axis wasn't actually that evil; he must've just been so scared that he'd imagined it.
Mader shook his head, pushing those wild thoughts out of his mind, then cast a few restorative psychic spells to help Axis recover his strength.
Axis just smiled and waved him off in thanks.
Kasha piloted them back to their fleet.
Axis's transformation into a Legendary Super Saiyan had only been witnessed by her and Mader.
The rest of the Space Wolves fleet, still some distance away, had missed this terrifying scene.
Axis's potential for battle was even greater than she'd imagined, even after all that she had seen.
Her father had been right: his fighting power truly eclipsed that of a Primarch's.
But that transformation of his… was way too undignified!
And why did it have to feel so insanely good?
That feeling was even better than—well, never mind!
Kasha shook her head, trying not to dwell on that sensation. Such overwhelming sensory stimulation was dangerous.
She didn't know why she felt a little grumpy at the moment.
If you pursued that kind of sensation, you were already on the path to damnation.
She made a mental note to talk to Axis about this and warn him to keep those feelings in check.
She'd expected Axis's berserk rage would attract a certain someone's attention.
She hadn't expected it to be this extreme pleasure instead, Axis was cretain to now fall on someone's radar.
…
In the Palace of Pleasure, the terrifying purple figure was irritated, she couldn't find it, nor could she sense it anymore.
Why had that overwhelming rush, that irresistible pleasure, suddenly vanished?
She'd almost found it.
She'd been so close to locating the source of that intense sensation, so close to experiencing a thrill she'd never known!
Axis, of course, had no idea.
If he hadn't set up a psychic barrier in advance, if he hadn't withdrawn from that state in time, and if he'd killed any living being, then right at that moment, he would've been noticed by Slaanesh.
In this entire universe, no one loved intense sensory stimulation more than that one.
And Axis's Legendary transformation was a kind of experience even Slaanesh had never felt before!
At that moment, the Warp itself surged and heaved, violet-red energies sweeping across a quarter of its expanse.
Every daemon of Slaanesh could feel their master's frustration!
Their master seemed to be searching for something, but could not find it, and so flew into a rage.
Some Imperial ships navigating the Warp at that moment even felt the effects, and some unlucky vessels were directly torn apart by the violent Warp storm.
Elsewhere, the Emperor himself frowned while leading a campaign in another star system.
Rogal Dorn and Horus, marching at his side, looked to their father in confusion.
"Rogal, Horus, finish taking this planet quickly.
"Afterwards, order all Imperial fleets nearby to stand down and rest. A violent storm has erupted in the Warp; for now, we can't risk entering," the Emperor said.
This feeling… it was undoubtedly Slaanesh.
What was Slaanesh up to? Why had a Warp storm broken out so suddenly?
And for it to cover all of Slaanesh's own domains, which was a quarter of the entire Warp, was a huge setback for his Great Crusade!
The two Primarchs beside the Emperor dared not hesitate.
They immediately notified all nearby psykers to send out a telepathic message across the entire Imperium.
Every Imperial ship was to exit the Warp and hold position in realspace, waiting for the storm to subside before continuing.
Once the orders came through, every ship, whether already in the Warp or preparing to enter, obediently withdrew and waited out the terrifying storm.
Axis and Kasha's group, back on their massive flagship, also received orders from Russ.
"Lord Axis, the Wolf Father has just informed us of a new Imperial directive.
"There's a violent Warp storm right now, so we have to remain in this system for a while," reported the psyker in charge of astropathic communication.
"Understood. Notify all our warriors," Axis replied with a nod.
"Mader, we owe you for today. Go get some rest," Axis said.
"Yes. I'll take my leave," Mader answered, bowing to Axis before returning to his quarters.
"Come with me, Axis. I need to talk to you," Kasha said, grabbing him and pulling him into her room.
"What is it, Kasha? Feeling a little excited?!" Axis asked, holding Kasha by the waist and bringing her closer.
Axis was feeling a little bit too excited. The feeling of his more than decades of his training paying off felt somehow better than the intense sensory simulation from the transformation itself.
He was more than excited to shere his joy!
But Kasha's expression was serious.
"Axis, this Warp storm is probably related to you," she said.
"Come on, don't be ridiculous, what's it got to do with me? I'm not some kind of Warp god," Axis said, waving her off.
"I can sense what kind of power this Warp storm contains,
"It's Slaanesh, Axis.
"Axis, you have to learn to restrain that kind overwhelming pleasure you experience while transformed, or you're bound to gather that things attention again," Kasha said, her expression stern, her hands on Axis' chest.
As the Emperor's daughter, she knew exactly how corrupting the Warp could be.
Especially when your powers started to resonate with a Chaos God's domain, that was incredibly dangerous.
Up until now, both she and Axis had assumed Khorne would be the first to notice him.
But unexpectedly, after this transformation, the most powerful sensation wasn't rage, it was an evil pleasure formed from a twisted desire to destroy, to annihilate, to kill.
"…" Axis was speechless.
Seriously? That damn freakshow hermaphrodite took notice?
Of all the four Chaos Gods, that one was the most perverse and disgusting, enough to make anyone sick imagining!
But honestly, none of the Chaos Gods were sane or good; it was just a question of which was more depraved.
This Warhammer universe really was a screwed-up place.
All he'd done was experiment with his Legendary transformation, which he had been looking forward to for decades and it caused this much trouble?
"In any case, you should work on improving your psychic strength, Axis. That's the only way to truly protect yourself," Kasha said.
"I got it!" Axis nodded, "In anycase, can we? now? Would that thing notice that?"
Kasha looked at Axis with narrowed eyes. She could sense Axis' giddiness without ebem using her psychic powers.
"I have the confidence to take on Malcador with my psychic power right now,
"What do you think?" Kahsa asked.
"That's my girl!!
"But how did that thing notice us if you were that powerful?" Axis coudln't help himself.
"You blowed up two planets, and one wasn't even in my range! That wasn't in the plan, nor was guarding against Slaanesh's domain!... You know what? Never mind! You're right! We should be careful!" Kahsa said, pushing herself away from Axis' chest, dodging Axis' head.
From now on, he would have to be a lot more careful! Both while using his transformation and his words.
