Lord Elrien's study chamber was unlike anything Yuta had ever seen.
Everything from the very walls was refined elegance.
Uncountable leather-bound books lined the shelves from floor to ceiling and ancient scrolls rested in carved holders.
Yuta gazed at the magnificent tower of books with interest. He had always loved reading, but his knowledge of books had always been limited to the bedtime stories his uncle Darius occasionally bought for his youngest son, Kira.
In the human realm, books and education were quite expensive. While his uncle and aunt hadn't provided him with any education as they did with the rest of his cousins, Yuta had mostly learned to read on his own, and sometimes under Eren's secret guardianship.
He also hadn't thought that demonic creatures would enjoy the simple art and pleasure of reading stories. It was something too… Humanly.
