Chapter 247 - Chapter 245 Second Sunscreen Application

Last night ran late—party on day one, bed near midnight. Yet I woke before full sunrise. Habit, nothing more.

I geared up, left bed, opened curtains and window, inhaled salty breeze deeply, stretched wide.

Glancing down, my brother trained below. Unfamiliar moves—likely unknown fist or karate kata. Small hand weights; each precise, like a master actor or dancer's pose.

He circled half the backyard, then stopped, relaxing.

(Eh, already over...?)

I stared lingeringly at his back as he breathed deep. Wishing for one more glimpse of that beautiful "dance."

(Show more. Just once. Your cool side to your sister... wait?)

Realizing my odd thoughts, I yanked curtains shut, fled the window. Maybe he heard—but he never looked up. Surely unnoticed.

"Miyuki-san, awake?"

"Y-Yes!"

Breakfast ready; Sakurai-san came calling. Clock showed time passed. I'd been entranced that long.

Changed, ate downstairs what she made, then she asked:

"Plans for today?"

"Once heat eases, boat offshore sounds nice."

"Cruiser?"

"Yes... small sailing yacht preferred."

"Understood. Depart at four?"

"Fine."

She smoothly interpreted Mother's vague words into plans.

"If no plans, beach? Lounging refreshes."

"...Yes. Morning beach relaxation."

"I'll help prepare. Hehe, swimsuit means thorough sunscreen—no spots missed. Under too. Hehehe..."

Her eerie glee and suspicious eyes seized my wrist; I couldn't shake free as she dragged me upstairs. En route, my brother seemed to stifle laughter, turning away.

...Impossible for him to react so humanly.

Sunscreen slathered everywhere by Sakurai-san, I dragged my exhausted body to the nearest beach.

Came to relax—yet tired at the villa first? Wondering, I lay on the sheet under my brother's parasol. He sat nearby, knees loosely hugged, gazing blankly at the horizon.

(Bored?)

No magic talent, but all-round honor student. Swimming excellent, fast. Without me, he'd move freely. Hating my thoughts, I scanned around.

(Family there... couple, probably swimming. Beyond—wah!)

I buried my face, but curiosity peeked again. Likely high school boy oiling a girl's body. Bold spots... no, fully touching. In open view—aren't they embarrassed?

Noticing my excitement, I averted eyes to calm. Can't frost midsummer Okinawa beach.

(But she doesn't seem unwilling...)

Prone like me, she smiled despite touches... like me?

Realizing parallels: prone me, brother beside...

(Eh?)

Sneaking a glance, he watched me. Had he seen them too? Wanted the same?

(But we're blood-related...)

Thoughts froze. Yes, siblings—but to me, he's not 'brother,' just an older acquaintance boy. Likely mutual.

Sensing him stand, I fought my racing heart. If he tried like them—stop at all costs!

Instead, he draped my removed tunic over me.

"Rest well."

Ah, idiot me... He worries this much. Yet I fantasized him beastly...

"Thank you..."

Meant to say it aloud—did I? Consciousness faded instantly post-tunic. So tired—I realized belatedly. He noticed, watched for that.

Silently thanking again, I sank into deep, healing sleep.

Honami-san... somehow smells like yuri...
