On East 7th Street, Professor Lizard flipped a pickup truck effortlessly, climbing atop it with a vial of viral smoke in his clawed grip.
"Roar!!" He bellowed, a plume of green smoke enveloping him as he stood like a plague-ridden giant on the vehicle's roof.
Chaos reigned around him, with cars colliding and green smoke transforming people into lizard-like creatures.
Above, the sound of helicopter rotors buzzed as it hovered, tracking Professor Lizard's movements closely.
Meanwhile, on the streets behind, Spider-Man swung swiftly through the city, heading toward the Oscorp Building.
In contrast to the indiscriminate destruction wrought by Professor Lizard, Spider-Man faced a more tactical challenge: evading police encirclement and capture, aimed at stopping him without collateral harm.
On a building balcony ahead, George had dispatched officers, equipped with electromagnetic rifles, intent on capturing Spider-Man rather than harming him.
A helicopter hovered above, continually updating Spider-Man's position.
"Stop! You're surrounded! This is a warning—halt!" George commanded through a megaphone from the helicopter.
"Everyone, get into position!" An officer at the balcony edge instructed, adjusting his headset.
The surrounding team quickly readied themselves, aiming their weapons.
Soon, Spider-Man swung into view from around a corner, moving with practiced agility.
"Fire!" As he neared, an order rang out, and a barrage of gunfire erupted.
"Bang! Bang!" The electromagnetic rifles, bulkier than standard firearms, fired with a distinct sound, akin to crossbow bolts. Each shot emitted a blue electric current.
Blue lights streaked toward Spider-Man, but he deftly dodged, the electromagnetic slugs embedding shallowly into the walls.
Spider-Man twisted mid-air, evading every attack with the fluidity of a slick eel.
But suddenly, a flash grenade burst before him.
"Bang!" The blinding white light exploded, momentarily overwhelming his vision, even through the hood's black lenses.
Instinctively, he shielded his eyes, and in that vulnerable moment, a magnetic bullet struck his chest.
Electricity coursed through him, paralyzing his cells and nerves, and he plummeted like a rigid marionette.
"Bang! Bang!" Spider-Man crashed onto a car, then tumbled heavily to the ground. The electric shock spasmed his muscles briefly before he lay still.
Police officers quickly descended on zip lines, surrounding him with rifles drawn.
By the time George exited the helicopter, Spider-Man was cuffed, sitting silently, awaiting his fate.
George approached, squatting beside the motionless hero, pondering for a moment before reaching out to remove Spider-Man's mask.
"Let's see who you really are!"
But as the mask came off, Spider-Man suddenly sprang into action, snapping the cuffs and knocking George aside with a quick strike.
Before the surrounding officers could react, Spider-Man's webbing shot out, disarming them effortlessly.
He moved with precision, dodging magnetic bullets and disarming police, keeping his face hidden throughout the skirmish.
After incapacitating the last officers, Spider-Man landed with a flourish, only to face George, who had picked up a pistol and aimed it at him.
"Freeze!" George yelled, "Get down and put your hands behind your head."
Peter hesitated, his expression veiled in shadow, unsure how to face his father-in-law.
"Hurry up!" urged George, prompting Peter to turn slowly.
"Look up!" George ordered, still cautious of another attack.
But when Peter raised his head, revealing a familiar face, George paused, stunned.
"Parker?" He lowered the pistol, disbelief etched on his features. Realization dawned, explaining Peter's earlier defiance at the dinner table.
"Professor Connors is heading to Oscorp. Your daughter and Barry are there—I need to reach them," Peter explained, cautiously retrieving his mask.
George remained silent, lowering his pistol, absorbing the situation.
"Chief, the lizard monster is at Oscorp, scaling the building. He's extremely strong."

"Beep..." A shrill alarm blared in the lab, dimming the lights and heightening the tension.
Barry sensed something, glancing toward the darkened entrance.
"Barry, catch!" Gwen tossed a lighter to him. "Light this and hit the fire sensor!" she instructed, before hurriedly retrieving the radiator containing the blue serum.
Barry caught the lighter, igniting it and shooting webbing to trigger the ceiling's fire alarm.
"Pfft! Pfft!" The flames activated the alarm, releasing cooling mist, while the lab's alloy door closed under its control.
"Why stop me? I may not be as strong, but I'm skilled," Barry protested as the lights dimmed.
"No, it's too dangerous. We need to place this radiator and serum into the Ganali device atop the building," Gwen insisted.
"Shh... Let's hide first," Gwen whispered, leading Barry into a small storage room with the radiological device, securing them inside.
