Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 – The Skethera Recruitment Program

Her beautiful creation was finally up and running:

Ecosystem: Check.

Species slash Civilizations: Check.

Mana-filled environment: Check.

And her personal touch? A natural world connected by an internal mana network—so species could gain intelligence and defend themselves against more advanced ones.

It was all perfect. Flawlessly, gloriously perf—

"Boss, you might want to see this..."

System pulled up visuals on the translucent Control Panel:

Humans. Fighting. Explosions. Boom. Her precious world blowing itself to pieces.

"No. No, no, no! I just populated the planet! How are they this fast?!"

Irritation wasn't even close to what she was feeling.

It was totally betrayal.

Was the planet not good enough? Why did they have to be so... so self-destructive?!

"AHHHHHRGHH—"

Aerisse threw herself onto her deluxe drama-watching sofa combo, wiping invisible tears with her official melodrama cloth (the kind heroines always hand to their lovers before tragic battlefield departures).

"Wait, Boss, it's not that bad..."

NOT THAT BAD?!

"I mean... we've got time. It only happens in about a hundred years."

A hundred ye—What?!

"Why didn't you start with that?"

She leapt off the sofa. "To the Reception Room!"

"Hmph. Like you ever listen to anything I say..."

Still adorable when grumpy.

Time to work:

She began summoning potential heroes from the list. The first one? A legendary warrior with a great win record in interdimensional wars. She had high hopes.

"I've served enough. Now I just want to live for myself."

Fair.

Not useful, but fair. She reincarnated him anyway—free vacation. She'd want the same.

Next up: extremely intelligent. Best spy in the entire middle-tier planetary cluster. Said to be able to prevent wars before they started. If he solved her problem, she might even promote him to personal assistant.

"Look, lady, don't take this personally, but your world is primitive. You don't even have the tools I'd need."

A bit insulting, but... accurate.

Maybe her standards were too high.

"Boss, how about something lighter? NEETs have a 99% acceptance rate and a 55% success rate. Solid cost-benefit."

Of course! Why didn't she think of that?

NEETs were perfect.

They already knew how reincarnation worked.

They lived for this kind of fantasy.

They'd studied every scenario through anime, games, and webnovels.

They were practically trained!

It worked for her, didn't it? Why not for them?

She then picked one—clearly excited, practically vibrating with joy.

"Wait—is this an Isekai?! A real one?! A goddess?! OH MY GOSH, am I dreaming?!"

"Welcome to the Celestial Realm, Lesser Soul!" Aerisse said brightly, watching the awe spread across his face.

"You've been chosen to reincarnate into my new Creation, Skethera. Your mission: prevent a human war that will begin in one hundred years. You may retain your memories and select one special ability from our skill menu."

A glowing translucent panel opened in front of him, displaying hundreds of unique options.

"So I get to be super OP or at least get a skill that scales with training?!"

His eyes sparkled with dangerous levels of excitement. Aerisse had to look away.

"Not exactly. Unlike Sketherian natives, you'll start with memories and a good power, which already gives you an edge. As time passes, you can unlock more—if you work hard."

"Oh..."

The sparkle dimmed. She could look him in the eye again.

"That sounds kinda tiring, Lady Goddess..."

"I underst—"

"—but I accept, of course! No way I'd get another shot like this. Please reincarnate me! I choose invisibility!"

Wow. That was fast.

First option locked in, zero drama. Efficient.

She really should've listened to System sooner.

And now... onto the next NEET.

That's right, she couldn't possibly count on just one to save her beloved world.
