Me and Abigail paused.Our hearts pounding.That scream sounded genuinely terrified."Abigail?" I whispered out.Suddendly I felt very nervous,a foreboding feeling came over me.'Fiona,we need to leave,now', my heart stuttered slightly.I was about to reply when a loud crash echoed.
It sounded like the window right above the attic.I quickly scampered unto my bed under the window and peered outside.I was just in time to see a grey wolf bolting out of the house.Two larger wolves in sorry states ,one black and the other brown quickly followed after it seemed as if they had sustained injuries.
My eyes widened as I watched the wolves leave."Did...did they just leave without me?" I couldn't help but whispered to myself.The shock and pain I felt weighed heavily on my heart ,it felt like it wanted burst.I couldn't even cry.I had no idea what was going on up there,but clearly something dangerous had transpired.
Yet instead of escaping with both their daughters they only chose one.The favorite.I had thought that even though they didn't like me as much I was still their daughter right?But now,I didn't know what to think.Wqs I always so low in their hearts?Did I not mean anything to them?Why was it so easy for them to abondon me?I'm their daughter too!My mother had gave birth to me too!They made me too!Why was so insignificant?
I was a good daughter, obedient and did whatever they said meanwhile Felicia did none of those things!Yet she was the one doted on! She was the one given everything!She was the one they chose to escape with!
My breathing became harsh as I felt a deep hatred consume me ,I felt as if my heart was beat out of my chest ,it was becoming hard to breathe.'Snao out of it!' I heard Abigail shout at me from our mind space.'Fiona your having a panic attack !Calm down!',I took deep breaths as I attempted to calm my self down .'Thats right,deep breath in, deep breath out',I listened to her voice now soft lacking it's usually rough edge.
I followed her instructions and my breathing slowly became laboured.My lungs slightly ached from the strain.I slowly straightened back up and unconsciously looked up.I was met with red eyes and my heart kept in my throat.
It was the enlarged face of a grey wolf whose fur looked like an old mattress that was also growing mold.The rancid smell of it could be smelt through the window and if not for it bloodthirsty eyes locked on me and it's mouth practically drooling.I would have.
'dont you dare move' Abigail whispered,I didn't dare answer afraid it would pounce on me if I dared to take my eyes off it.But it seemed as if I was worried too much because even with out me moving the wolf pounced.The window as I screamed to run away.In my panic my feet twisted together and I fell off the bed with loud.
I quickly sat and scooted with fear only to see the wolf half stuckin my small window.It struggled fiercely and snarled at me.Never had I been so thankful that I had a small window.The usually annoying 'heat contact has become a life saviour! Thank the moon goddess!
I swiftly sat up a sudden ache in my ankle made me shudder I looked down and the red had already started show on my pale skin.I frowned but put this it aside as I grabbed my old metal chair with trembling hands.I then bashed it into the wolf's head.
It became even angrier as growled at me it struggled to come through my window.I quickly became anxious with fear and closed my eyes and bashed it again with the chair with all my might.I did it again, again and again.At what felt like the twentieth bash I stopped and my eyes still uneasy.I was relieved ed and a bit nauseous at the sight of the wolf's broken neck and bashed in head.It blood dripped unto my bed.
I silently took the chair to furthest corner of my small and down with weak knees.After awhile I heard Abi whisper something under her breath."What?"I subconsciously asked.'I said what is a Rogue wolf doing here ?'.I shook my head,"I don't know".
No Sooner had I said that a loud bang echoed from my door .I didn't have anytime to react before multiple banging sounds echoed from behind my door.Vicious growls echoed after.I sucked in a breath of cold air to calm my fear.This was really bad!I quickly ran over to the dead rogue stuck in my window.Ignoring my disgust and nausea I wrapped it's large colling paws.qnd began pulling it out of the window with all my strength.
I heard bones cracking when the body came threw ,I fell on the floor from my pulling force the dead rogue fell untop of me knocking the wind out of me.It was almost twice my size!I rolled it off of me with a lot of effort when the top hinges of my door came off.Because this was the attic c the door had four hinges.
A rogue forcefully pushed its head into the space now available and snarled at me hungrily.I quickly got up and run to the bed.My knees almost giving out on me when I went untop of it.I quickly boosted my self up on the window sill.Small pieces of glass pierced my arms but didn't dare pause for a moment.I struggled and wiggled my body out of the bedroom.I had just gotten out when I heard the attic door crash down.I immediately rolled away from the window and ran away not daring look back.
