"Nice to meet you, Lord Leviathan. I am Yoru, a mere soldier under the Gremory family."
Yoru introduced himself with a calm, composed demeanor, as if he hadn't just been caught holding a girl's hand.
Hearing his words, Serafall, Sona's elder sister, raised an eyebrow, her expression darkening.
"You're quite arrogant for a soldier. Don't think that beating a roasted chicken means you can start acting smug. Among the younger generation of devils in the Underworld, there are many stronger than the third son of the Phoenix family, who's known more for his playboy lifestyle than strength."
"Oh? And what does that have to do with me?"
Yoru answered indifferently, unfazed by Serafall's thinly veiled threat. Internally, however, he was a bit confused—he didn't recall offending her, so why was she so hostile?
"Alright, sis. What are you doing?" Sona cut in. "Yoru may be Rias's servant, but he also goes to Kuoh Academy. It's perfectly normal for classmates to greet and chat with each other."
"Normal?! He was clearly taking advantage of you! He wouldn't even let go of your hand!"
Sona tried to reason with her, but Serafall was already fuming, making Sona sigh helplessly.
This was just how her sister was—overbearing and overprotective. Sona had long since accepted that.
If her sister ever found out she was living with a man...
Just the thought made Sona blush uncontrollably.
Seeing her sister's shy, flustered reaction, Serafall looked as though she'd suffered a heavy blow. Her hands trembled as she pointed at Yoru.
"You… what exactly did you do to my dear Sona?! Dammit, you're supposed to be that Rias girl's servant! Why are you trying to seduce my sister?!"
"Sis! It's not what you think!"
"Waaah! So quick to take his side... and he's not even your servant! Boohoo… How did I end up with a sister like this?!"
"Enough, Sis! Do you want to make a public spectacle of us?"
Even Sona was losing her patience at this point. Seeing that her sister was genuinely making her upset, Serafall finally toned it down a little.
It was clear that, despite her childish antics, the great Maou Leviathan was still somewhat afraid of her little sister.
This is one of the Four Great Satans? Yoru couldn't help but doubt. With someone like her running the Underworld... its future seems pretty bleak. He couldn't help but wonder what the other three Satans were like.
Eventually, the banquet drew to a close. Just as Yoru thought they were heading back to the human world, Rias nervously approached him with news.
Her older brother, Sirzechs—also known as the Maou Lucifer—wanted to meet him.
Though surprised, Yoru wasn't entirely shocked. After all, Grayfia already knew the secret of his reincarnation using eleven Evil Pieces. It stood to reason that Sirzechs knew as well.
"Don't be nervous," Rias said, thinking he was anxious about meeting one of the Four Satans. "Even though my brother has held the title of Lucifer for years, he's actually very easy to talk to. He's not one to flaunt his power."
"Honestly, I bet he's the only person who could ever make Lady Leviathan cry," Yoru joked.
Rias blinked. "Huh…? You met Sona's sister?"
"Yeah. Let's just say… thanks to her, my impression of the Four Great Satans has taken a serious hit."
"Well… Serafall only acts like that because she cares so much about Sona. Whenever she's around her sister, she completely turns into a doting idiot. But don't get the wrong idea—she's actually an incredibly capable Satan."
As they chatted, the two arrived at Sirzechs' chambers. Grayfia opened the door; clearly, Sirzechs had been waiting for them.
"First of all, congratulations on your victory, soldier," Sirzechs greeted them with a smile.
Yoru's reply caught Rias off guard. "If I hadn't been her servant, would you really have let your sister marry someone she didn't love? Just for political convenience?"
Rias hadn't expected Yoru to confront her brother like that right off the bat.
"You don't understand," Sirzechs replied, not angry but rather smiling with a hint of helplessness. "As one of the Four Satans, I often have to consider things from Lucifer's standpoint, not as the Gremory family head, and not as Rias's brother."
Hearing that, Rias let out a breath of relief. Her brother's words meant he acknowledged Yoru as part of the Gremory family.
"At least I know that if the suitor had been Sona, Leviathan would've strangled that roast chicken herself," Yoru muttered.
Sirzechs laughed.
"So you met Serafall? Well, she's… different. A woman, yes, but how should I put it… her way of thinking isn't quite like normal devils."
"You mean she's crazy?"
Ahem! "That's not what I said!" Sirzechs coughed awkwardly. "Anyway, let's change the subject. Let's talk about you—an Evil Piece reincarnated soldier with eleven pieces."
As Sirzechs shifted to a more serious tone, Yoru rubbed his nose and straightened up.
"You understand what those eleven pieces mean, don't you, Yoru?"
Yoru nodded seriously. "It's unprecedented. Even Lord Beelzebub, who created the Evil Pieces, couldn't comprehend it. Someone like me, born from such an anomaly, is unpredictable in nature, potential, and future."
"Exactly… it's good you're aware of your own significance. After today's battle, your name has spread throughout the Underworld. But that's not necessarily a good thing."
Sirzechs sighed, frowning slightly.
"The Fallen Angels and the Heavens… they won't go so far as to try and kill me, will they?" Yoru said, nonchalantly shrugging.
"If I'm not mistaken, it's taboo for the older generation to attack the younger one. So what's there to worry about? If they send anyone from the younger generation…"
A confident smirk crossed his lips.
"I'll kill as many as they send."
Yoru's words were calm, but behind them was a boundless arrogance and unshakable confidence.
