Chapter 93 - New Diary

Above the grey fog, huge stone pillars supported a magnificent temple.

Suddenly, two dark red patches appeared beside the ancient and weathered bronze long table, stretching out into illusory figures.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Fool," Audrey, with a hazy effect, bowed and smiled gently, "Unfortunately, there is no fine wine here. Otherwise, you could have tried to have a successful toast."

She was referring to the matter of the ritual magic.

"Your power is far beyond our imagination," Algie Wilson also praised.

The atmosphere around Klein was still thick with extreme grey fog. With a gesture of his right hand, as if answering an ordinary matter, he spoke:

"Very good. This indicates that we are on the right track. If you have something to do next Monday afternoon and can't get away, then hold the ceremony earlier and inform me. Well, just change the content of the incantation such as 'Pray for a good dream' to specific reasons."

"OK," Audrey nodded with a light tone, "Mr. Fool, I have obtained another page of Emperor Rosel's diary. I still owe one page."

"This week, I have been away from the land and couldn't find any new ones," Algie placed his right hand on his chest and bent forward, expressing his apology.

"Don't worry about it. The cycle of this matter is destined to be long," Klein leaned against the back of the chair, his index finger tapping the armrest, and looked at "Justice" Miss, "You can now 'express' the diary."

Audrey slightly bowed:

"Follow your will."

She picked up the pen that suddenly appeared on the table, carefully recalled the runes that were forcibly memorized in her mind, and gave the intention to express.

In just a few seconds, she saw the parchment in front of her filled with content, dense, neat and orderly.

After checking it, she put down the pen and said:

"OK"

Klein gently raised his hand, and the parchment suddenly appeared in his palm.

His gaze moved downward, and without any emotional fluctuations, he began to read:

"July 9th, I suddenly thought of an interesting question. Since the sequence path is also called the divine favor and the divine path, why is the stone slab that records the complete twenty-two sequence paths called a sacrilegious slab? 'Sacrilegious' is such a meaningful word... Who was it that sacrilegiously violated? Who made the sacrilegious slab? What else is recorded? I really want to see it..."

"July 12th, today I learned a fact. The sealing object is an important part of the church's strength. Even though some of them are extremely dangerous, among the seven churches, the Craft God Church has the fewest sealing objects and the lowest level of danger... Did I join a not-so-promising organization? No, I should think this way: Only blank paper is good for drawing, and weak organizations are more conducive to my display!"

"July 14th, I saw that mysterious Chaaratur Mr. again. He was actually the leader of the ancient organization, the Secret Society!"

Seeing this, Klein's pupils contracted, almost showing an abnormal reaction.

In the night goddess church's materials, the Chaaratur family only had a certain connection with the Secret Society. Up to Emperor Rosel, the mysterious Chaaratur Mr. was further proven to be the leader of the Secret Society.

From this, it seems that the Secret Society's mastery of the 'Divinationist' sequence path is an unquestionable fact...

While Klein was reading the diary, Audrey looked up at the front, habitually began to observe.

However, her gaze, her eyes, were completely blocked out by the thick grey fog.

Stunned, Audrey suddenly came to her senses, panicked turned her head, and looked at the one after another illusory deep red stars.

"I was so rash, so bold, so stupid, to want to observe Mr. Fool... Fortunately, fortunately, he didn't get angry." Audrey gently flicked her tongue, pretending to be enjoying the scenery in a leisurely manner, only missing the sound of a light melody humming in her mouth.

Alger sat silently there, his gaze fixed on the surface of the bronze long table, behaving obediently as if facing a true deity.

Klein refocused his thoughts, his gaze sweeping down to the end of the diary:

"Knowing that I became a 'Generalist', Mr. Chalart said that I had chosen a path that was destined to be difficult but relatively safe in the early stages. I asked why, and he just smiled and said that the hidden secrets in the sequence path were much more than I had imagined. I couldn't help asking which sequence path he was referring to, and he told me that his sequence 9 was 'Diviner'."

"I deliberately mocked him, saying, aren't all 'Diviners' like this, hiding half of what they say and never explaining things clearly? And he was clearly a high-sequence strongman, no longer needing to play the role of 'Diviner'!"

"Mr. Chalart said this was his habit since he started as a 'Diviner', and only this way could it arouse my curiosity and make me cooperate with him. He hoped that I could help him steal a dangerous seal from the Church of the God of Craftsmen, which was a relic of the Antigonus family."

"Obviously, this matter can only be possible when I become a core member of the Church of the God of Craftsmen. I also asked Mr. Chalart how long it would take to digest the potion using the 'Role-playing Method' and what criteria to use for measurement."

"He told me that in the low-sequence, as long as one can strictly play the role, it takes no more than half a year to digest the potion, and even the fastest requires only one month. The criteria is simple: once completely digested, each extraordinary person can immediately feel it, yes or no."

"I continued to ask about the detailed and specific situation, but he remained silent without speaking."

"Shut up and be silent, damn it! When I become a high-sequence strongman, I'll beat a 'Diviner' when I see one!" ... The Emperor, rest in peace... Klein read it over and over again, then turned his gaze back to "Justice" and "The Hangman":

"Sorry for keeping you waiting."

"This is our pleasure."

Audrey was still shaken and didn't remember that she was "the audience".

She looked at "The Hangman" and began to organize her words:

"Where can I find the Psychological Alchemy Society?"

The Psychological Alchemy Society... Klein suddenly remembered the gentleman in the underground trading market of Tinggen City who bought the auxiliary materials for the "Audience" potion.

Perhaps he is a member of the Psychological Alchemy Society?

While Klein was considering how to approach the other party, "The Hangman" Alger Wilson shook his head and said:

"Miss Justice, first of all, I don't know the clue. Secondly, I don't think you need to be so eager to find the Psychological Alchemy Society. Your current focus should be on digesting the 'Audience' potion."

Audrey quickly glanced at the Fool and saw that he didn't have any intention of adding anything, so she nodded slightly with a hint of disappointment:

"I just hope to have enough time to prepare and contact them more naturally. Alright, then when can I digest the 'Audience' potion and finish playing? Is there any criterion for judgment? I haven't had any mood irritations or heard whispers since then."

"The Hangman" Alger looked at the Fool in the fog and saw that he showed no reaction, so he deliberated before speaking:

"If there is no 'Playing Method', the general principle is to wait at least three years and confirm that there are no symptoms of mania, auditory hallucinations, or visual hallucinations before using a simple method to determine. That is, let yourself exhaust to the limit. If you still don't hear crazy whispers or see strange things in this state, it indicates that you can advance."

"And the 'Playing Method', I also just came into contact with it and feel it's good. It probably won't take three years."

It's like saying nothing... Three years, that's too long... Audie's thoughts were muttered in her mind.

Her thoughts just appeared when she suddenly heard a soft tapping sound.

Audie was stunned for a moment, then became happy and turned her head to look. Sure enough, the Fool was tapping the edge of the long table.

Alger sat even more upright, waiting for the Fool to speak.

Klein spoke in a normal tone:

"In the lower sequence, as long as you strictly play, you can digest it completely within half a year. One month is also possible."

He looked at "Justice" and calmly added:

"The sign of complete digestion, you will naturally understand by then, without needing others to teach you."

"One month... That's great! Thank you, Mr. Fool!"

Audie's joy was overflowing.

Justice Miss, don't think you are the chosen one. The key point is half a year... Klein raised his right hand and placed it on his lips.

"One month... " Alger repeated in a low voice.

From his tone, Audie keenly sensed joy, relief, and intense confusion.

What is he wondering? Audie thought and spoke thoughtfully:

"Mr. Fool, do you have plans to add new members?"

Klein relaxed and leaned back, answering calmly:

"The first step was just a trial, there weren't many additional considerations."

"But now, as a regular gathering, members must be strictly selected. Secrecy is our principle."

Audie nodded slightly:

"That is to say, there are procedures such as observation, recommendation, and assessment, right, procedures."

"You're right in your understanding." Klein gave a positive reply.

But in his heart, he was thinking about how to ask about the Secret Society and the "Clown" potion.

How to ask in a way that fits my "identity"? Klein was in a dilemma.

At this moment, seeing that "Justice" had no other things to do for the time being, Alger spoke up:

"I heard that an 'Listener' of the Aurora Society is looking for traces of the true creator, that is, the 'Sanctuary' they promote."

"The true creator?" Audie asked in confusion. "That was an ancient entity that many mysterious organizations and secretive sects shared in common. They believed that the Creator had not truly died. The residual core of the Creator is the true Creator." Alger explained roughly, "Since the Fifth Age, the true Creator has manifested in various forms, such as 'the upside-down giant', 'the eye behind the shadow veil'. Huh, many people believe that Emperor Roselius referred to the image of the true Creator when inventing the Tarot cards, and thus the 'upside-down man' card was created."

At this point, he looked at Klein and said:

"Is what I said correct, Mr. Fool?"

Was he testing my opinion on the true Creator? Klein recalled the bloodless naked man nailed upside-down on the cross that the captain saw in Hainas Vanzant's dream, and immediately had an idea in his heart.

Whether it's upside-down or shadowy, doesn't it all have an eerie flavor?

So, he chuckled softly and said:

"I prefer to call Him the Fallen Creator."
