Flashback ends and Jin wakes up from being unconscious, and he sees Kenny mending his wounds.
"Urgh, where am-" - Jin
"I'm glad you're awake"- Kenny
"What the hell, argh!" - Jin as he backs away
"It's ok Jin, I'm not gonna hurt." - Kenny
"You almost killed me, the fuck do you mean-" - Jin
"Your my nephew" - Kenny
"...What" - Jin
"I need you to answer me ok, do you know who your parents are?" - Kenny
"Well, I've lived with an "uncle" most of my life but that's a long story." - Jin
"But I remember my mom's name, Akari Hazuki...and I never met my father." - Jin
"What happened to you guys where is she?" - Kenny
"...My mom was a drug addict. Every time she got money she would blow it on drugs and alcohol, and she never took care of me. When I was four some guys came into our house and started chatting to my mom. They said that they'll give her 100 000 yen if she gave me over to them legally, and of course she took it without a second thought and I've lived with a guardian ever since. That's the only memory I have of her left, and I don't even know my dad." - Jin
"Your dad...was my little brother, Juuzou Kazuma. He died eighteen years ago on an assassin mission, and I-I couldn't save him. After the mission I went to go tell your mom, and she cut me out of your lives out of frustration, and I never came back. I guess Juuzou's death left a huge scar in her life if she had to take drugs." - Kenny
"..."
"I'm...I'm so sorry Jin. I should've kept checking on Akari and been by her side. If I hadn't taken Juuzou with me on that mission, he'd still be here—and you would've never had to go through what you did." - Kenny sobs
"I'm a monster." - Kenny
"Hey don't say that-" - Jin
"I didn't just ruin your family, I ruined my too! My wife's dead because of me! I should've never joined this organization." - Kenny
"What...happened to your wife?" - Jin
"Sniffles, about last year I was out on a mission and I left her alone at home. It was very late and I had to walk back home since there were no cars on the road and when I got home, I found her, laying on the sofa dead. I checked the footage from the cameras and saw a group of men break in and started shooting her, this was a hit list mission. I found out it was the CEO's request because they thought she was distracting me from my job, so then I quitted. Now my daughter wants revenge, by killing me." - Kenny
"I deserve to die!" - Kenny starts tearing up
Jin comforts him
"I forgive you, uncle. I'm glad fate brought us together, and I'm glad to know that my family is still out there, even if they're not perfect." - Kenny
"Sniffles, thank you" - Kenny
Kenny helps Jin get up
"So what now, aren't your bosses gonna be pissed bout this?" - Jin
"I don't work for them anymore, and besides, I'm the fucking Boogeyman." - Kenny
As they try looking for the others they immediately get ambushed by a group of unknown people wearing robes and masks, and they're caring heavy machine guns pointing them at the two. As they prepare to fire Kenny reflexively pushes Jin out of he way into a DEEP pool. As Jin slowly into the pool he lays watching helplessly as Kenny is being shot at multiple times. He begins to drown since Jin can't swim and he starts panicking. After constantly trying to swim up his limbs stop moving and his body reflexively shuts down, his eyes close.
Suddenly the wind tattoo on his neck starts glowing and the water illuminating. Cuts to Kenny laying on his knees filled with holes in his body. He looks up and is stared at by a man in a white robe and and a mask, and aims a revolver at his face.
"Rest assured, your death will have meaning." - man in the mask
The man notices something moving in the pool but doesn't pay attention to it, as he turns his head Jin appears out of thin air and grabs his arm, and at that moment he uses a wind charge to blow the masked men away landing on one of the carnivals.
"Kenny...Kenny please stay with me." - Jin
"Blergh... It's fine kid. I've already accepted my fate. I've made too many mistakes in my life, I'm not afraid." - Kenny
Jin looks at him in sorrow
"Jin!!" - Ryu, Kai and Shimo
"We heard gunshots what happened-" - Ryu
They look at Kenny
"He's my uncle" - Jin
"Oh...well that's a twist" - Shimo
"So who fired shots?" - Kai
"Those guys over-" - Jin
The masked men have disappeared
"No no no, they were right here they shot at us and-" - Jin in rage
"Jin" - Kenny
"Can I ask you a favour" - Kenny
Jin nods
"My daughter, haah, she'll eventually know I'm dead and will try to fight the organization, she's about your age, haah. If you ever cross paths one day, haah, please be there for her, haah, and tell her...that I'll always love her, and I'm sorry." - Kenny
Kenny finally dies
KNJ cleanup crew is on their way and the boys are leaving the Granpal park, but as they're about to leave, the park TV turns on and starts broadcasting.
"People of Japan, this is a live broadcast. The Governor of Tokyo, Satoru Nijino, and his crew have gone missing. They left the city on Thursday, November 13th and have since gone M.I.A, their last location was on Mikurajima island."
"Whoever can find the Governor and the crew will be rewarded five hundred million yen, cash. "Trip to an island?" - Kai
"Five hundred thousand yen?" - Shimo
