Kusuo's smile sent a slight chill down Kakashi's spine. He scratched his head in embarrassment.
"The enemy is too powerful. I'm worried things could go wrong."
This was uncharacteristic of his usual composed demeanor.
Kusuo smiled knowingly. He had just been teasing his normally serious cousin. In the original story, Kakashi was great, occasionally joking around and being playful. But now, after repeated blows from his encounters with Obito, he had become gloomy and silent, like a tightly sealed pot.
"Don't worry, I'll be there."
"Kusuo-kun, where are you going?" Just then, Shion and Hinata ran over. Both had beads of sweat on their noses, clearly just having returned from training.
"We'll talk about that later." Kusuo smiled and pulled Shion and Hinata into his arms, completely ignoring the presence of his cousin.
Kakashi rubbed his nose, clearly uncomfortable with the public display of affection. He immediately excused himself and left.
That night, Kakashi met with the Hokage. After he explained Kusuo's plan to Tsunade, she agreed without hesitation.

This immense shame caused an uproar throughout Kumogakure the moment the news arrived. They all pleaded with the Raikage for a chance to go to war, to capture that detestable Hatake Kusuo and bring him to justice. If not for the Fourth Raikage A's firm suppression, there would have been even more trouble.
"That little monster... is he someone you can even touch?" Raikage A scoffed to himself. Recalling those sword strikes and glancing at his own empty sleeve, A still felt a lingering fear.
Besides the Land of Lightning's team from Kumogakure, the Land of Earth's Sunagakure had all of its elite jonin and higher-ranking shinobi wiped out. The Third Tsuchikage, Onoki, had taken his own life in atonement. The entire village was now run by his granddaughter, Kurotsuchi.
"What is Konoha trying to do?" Kurotsuchi frowned, her pretty face covered in frost. Her family, her village—all destroyed by Konoha. And now they had the audacity to send an invitation to them. What a disgrace!
However, the Konoha messenger was standing right in front of her, and she dared not offend them. Thus, she could only swallow her anger.
"Please inform your village that we will definitely participate in the future!"
It was an undeniable fact that among the five great nations, the Land of Fire's Konoha was the most respected. A single Fourth Great Ninja War had thoroughly broken the bones of the other nations. With tears in their eyes, they could only swallow their bitterness.
The Land of Fire not only escaped major damage but actually benefited greatly from the war. And it was all because of the young man named Hatake Kusuo.
A hundred years ago, the presence of the First Hokage, the God of Shinobi, loomed over everyone's hearts.
"That guy is so terrifying... do we even have a chance to recover...?" Kurotsuchi thought of the sword in Kusuo's hand, and her heart trembled as a look of fear crossed her face.
She sighed. "Forget the Land of Earth's Iwagakure; I'm afraid no other village can produce such a master!"

And so, the news that a new round of Chunin Exams would be held in the Land of Wind spread quickly throughout the ninja world. This time, the rules were clear: small nations were not allowed to participate. This directly eliminated the opportunity for underground criminal organizations and ambitious individuals to use small villages as cover to infiltrate secretly.
In the Akatsuki's base in Amegakure, Obito's face was twisted in frustration.
