Saturday.
Kitazawa arrived at the First Year Class A classroom after breakfast. Since it was a theoretical exam, there were no extra spectators. After all, theoretical exams were quite boring, with nothing much to see.
"The exam rules are the same as the previous monthly exam, so I won't repeat them," Kitazawa said while distributing the test papers. "You can start writing once the bell rings."
After finishing the distribution, he returned to the podium. Less than a minute later, the bell rang, and everyone picked up their pens.
Kitazawa glanced at Karin. Her expression was calm and composed, carrying an air of confidence. He had given her a practice test on Friday—she had scored ninety-two points. If all went well, that score would place her in the top ten of the theoretical exam.
Sitting at the podium with hands clasped, Kitazawa observed the class while drifting into thought. Since he had no mission to take, there was no need for him to sit for the exam.
Instead, his mind wandered toward what he should do during the winter break. The break would begin after the Student Council selection practical exam. Though not as long as summer, it still lasted about a month.
The first task was to teach Karin Sealing Techniques. However, in the eyes of others, he didn't know any.
Kitazawa's plan was simple—rely on his backer, Tsunade. He could use Karin's training as an excuse to request Sealing Techniques from Tsunade and, in doing so, legitimize his own.
The second task was to teach Kurenai Sealing Techniques as well.
The third was to guide Sasuke in Lightning Release Ninjutsu. But there was the same issue—he needed to justify his knowledge or, at the very least, learn Lightning Release himself.
Fortunately, once the practical exam concluded, Kitazawa would complete the Student Council President mission. The reward promised Lightning Release affinity and master-level Lightning Release Chakra Nature Transformation.
As for who to learn from? Naturally, Kakashi. Among Konoha's Jonin, he was the most skilled in Lightning Release. If he agreed to teach First Year Class A, things would be simple. If not, Kitazawa would have to find another way.
Of course, it also depended on Sasuke's performance in the practical exam—it would be best if it triggered a related mission.
The fourth task was to take Yakushi Kabuto, Aburame Torune, and Uchiha Izumi on missions, hoping to trigger more system missions. Based on the previous one—completing ninety D-rank missions—there were bound to be similar ones.
The fifth task was to cure Lady Tsunade's hemophobia. Once successful, Kitazawa could complete another mission—informing Naruto about the Nine-Tailed Fox.
The sixth task was to help Ino Yamanaka create a new Ninjutsu.
At that thought, Kitazawa took out a pen and paper. After a moment of contemplation, he decided on the technique.
A Ninjutsu from an official game—Ninja Art: Hundred Flowers Chaos.
Its effect was to release a storm of flowers, disrupting the enemy's vision before launching them as shuriken to deliver a deadly ambush.
However, ordinary flowers alone might not be enough. Kitazawa considered incorporating Genjutsu.
Kurenai had recently taught him Genjutsu: Flower Petal Escape, which made the enemy see falling petals, creating the perfect chance for a surprise attack.
Could Ino learn Genjutsu? Absolutely. The Yamanaka Clan's techniques were Yin Release-based—just like Genjutsu. The difference lay only in execution.
Many Yamanaka shinobi simply lacked the time to study Genjutsu due to clan obligations. After all, the Ino–Shika–Chō trio rarely required it; their secret techniques already provided superior control.
Combining Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and tools wasn't uncommon. For instance, Konoha Style Kenjutsu included Konoha Style: Willow, a technique fusing Genjutsu with swordplay.
It was created by none other than Maruboshi Kosuke—the eternal Genin.
Despite his rank, Kosuke's strength rivaled Jonin. In his youth, he had even learned Water Release Ninjutsu from the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama. Due to a tragic mistake that cost his teammates' lives, he swore to remain a Genin forever.

Time passed swiftly.
At eleven o'clock, the bell rang, marking the end of First Year Class A's second-semester theoretical exam.
"Everyone, go home early and prepare for tomorrow's practical exam," Kitazawa said, clapping his hands. "The theoretical exam rankings will also be announced then."
After collecting the test papers, the students left one by one, bidding farewell.
Hinata didn't linger either—Kitazawa had told her earlier to return home for lunch.
In his office, Kitazawa began grading. The first paper was Karin's.
"Excellent. Ninety-five points," he murmured with satisfaction, confident in the mission's outcome even before seeing the others.
He set his pen down, formed hand signs, and created nine Shadow Clones.
"Each of you grade three or four papers," he instructed.
With twenty-nine students in total, the grading was completed in less than half an hour.
The results were in.
First place—Sakura Haruno, a perfect score. Second and third—Sasuke and Hinata.
To Kitazawa's surprise, Yakumo placed fourth. Her improvement was astonishing, likely driven by her previous inability to enroll. After Tsunade's treatment, she had poured herself into studying, compensating for her stalled combat progress.
Kitazawa skimmed further down—Karin ranked seventh.
The next moment, his vision blurred, and three lines of text appeared before him.
[Current mission: Help transfer student Karin achieve a top ten ranking in this semester's final theoretical exam.
Mission reward: Four Limbs Weighting Seal.]
[Host has completed the mission. Reward issued.]
The system was always so timely.
Kitazawa reviewed the details of the Four Limbs Weighting Seal and nodded with satisfaction. In his view, it was far more practical than the Sealing Art: Fire Sealing Method.
The Fire Sealing Method could only seal flames and required a sealing scroll, making it cumbersome in actual combat. For ordinary Fire Release, dodging was faster than setting up a seal. Its only true value was in countering unique flames such as Amaterasu.
Shaking his head, Kitazawa shifted focus and checked Naruto and Kiba Inuzuka's rankings. Naruto was in thirteenth place, Kiba in eleventh.
Ever since his last conversation with Kitazawa, Kiba had worked harder than before. Yet, with so many prodigies in First Year Class A, even increased effort was not enough to push him into the top ten.
Still, surpassing Naruto must have been a small victory he cherished.
And at the end of the top ten—still sitting firmly in tenth—was none other than Shikamaru.
Kitazawa could not help but admire the boy. He managed to control his score with surgical precision, staying right at the line.
Even more impressive, this time he seemed to have accounted for Karin's inclusion.
How had he guessed? Likely from noticing Kitazawa tutoring her daily. That kid's intelligence was simply on another level.
After reviewing the results, Kitazawa turned back to researching Ino Yamanaka's new Ninjutsu.
By afternoon, Yamada Isamu delivered the theoretical exam rankings for Second Year Class A.
Kitazawa scanned the list—virtually unchanged from the previous month. First place went to Hyuga Neji, second to Tenten. Rock Lee, unsurprisingly, remained in last place.
Yet, considering his lack of talent outside of Taijutsu, his perseverance was remarkable. In the Ninja World, strength overshadowed academics, and few possessed even his level of determination.
The sun dipped low as Kitazawa returned to Kurenai's house. As usual, he trained his Chakra Enhanced strength under Tsunade's guidance—lasting four hours this time.
Yet he still had stamina left to spare. The 40% Senju Bloodline had vastly improved his physical endurance and recovery.
After a bath, he made his way to Kurenai's room.
"Tomorrow is the Student Council selection practical exam, isn't it?" Kurenai, dressed in a silk nightgown, sat by the bed and asked softly.
"Are you going to watch?" Kitazawa smiled and replied, "Of course. I'll arrange a good seat for you."
Kurenai nodded lightly. "I have nothing else to do, so I might as well."
She had already mastered the Fire Sealing Method and was in a rare period of rest. Kitazawa planned to teach her the Four Limbs Weighting Seal over winter break.
"Alright then." Kitazawa's gaze fell on her graceful body.
Seeing this, Kurenai rolled her eyes at him. She didn't even need to think to know what Kitazawa wanted to do.
Kurenai stood up, not looking at him, but turning her back to him, leaning forward, and lying on the bed.
Her body arched, her buttocks perked up, and her silk nightgown stretched taut, revealing their rounded contours.
Kitazawa's eyes widened, and he subconsciously swallowed.
Kurenai, like the color red, had a passionate personality. Now, influenced by Kitazawa, her behavior was very bold.
In short, she was truly alluring.
Kitazawa stepped forward and reached out his hand.
The silk nightgown fell to the floor. Her snowy white skin was completely exposed to his eyes.
Kurenai's breath hitched, and she bit her lip. Not long after, sweat beaded on her forehead, her skin fair with a hint of red, making her look incredibly charming.
Kurenai's face quickly turned completely red, her head became muddled, she lost consciousness, and began to babble incoherently.
---
Morning light filtered through the curtains.
Kitazawa opened his eyes, feeling remarkably refreshed. A chaotic night had not exhausted him in the slightest.
Indeed, in this Ninja World, it's all about Bloodline. 40% of the Senju Bloodline gave him a feeling of being reborn.
And this was not the special Bloodline like Senju Hashirama's, but just an ordinary Senju Bloodline.
Kitazawa came to his senses and felt the weight on his body and a soft touch. Kurenai held him tightly, as if she were using him as a pillow.
Kitazawa's gaze moved downward, and he could see her smooth, beautiful back and the two beautiful legs wrapped around him.
He admired her for a while, his gaze finally settling on her face. Strands of her black hair clung to her cheek, lips pale yet serene, her beauty almost fragile in sleep.
Placing his hand gently on her forehead, Kitazawa released a warm flow of green chakra.
Kurenai stirred faintly, her eyes half-opening. Upon seeing the glow of Medical Ninjutsu, she whispered softly, "Thank you."
Kitazawa smiled and stroked her hair. "No need for thanks between us. But it's time to get up—we have to go to the Ninja Academy.
"Mm," Kurenai remembered that she had promised Kitazawa yesterday to watch the Student Council selection Exam.
She subconsciously sat up, and the sheet slid down her body.
Immediately, her beautiful naked body came into view.
Kitazawa stared, unblinking.
Kurenai rolled her eyes at him, but didn't mind. After all, they were now in a relationship where they knew each other inside and out.
Kurenai got out of bed and walked naked to the wardrobe.
She opened the wardrobe, looked left and right, and took out the red-sleeved white outfit she usually wore.
"What are you still looking at?" Kurenai changed her clothes, and seeing Kitazawa still staring at him, she asked.
"Looking at you." Kitazawa smiled and said, "Who told you to be so beautiful? I can never get enough of looking at you."
Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for another round, and he couldn't afford to take leave from the Student Council's practical selection. Otherwise, Kurenai might not have been able to leave the house today.
"Always so glib." Kurenai's lips curved slightly as she glared at him and said, "I'm going to make breakfast."
Although they weren't married yet, their relationship had already been established, and she had recently taken on the role of a virtuous wife.
"Thank you, Kurenai."
Kitazawa got out of bed, changed into fresh clothes, and went to the bathroom to wash up.
Moments later, the two of them sat down at the dining table. Because they had woken up half an hour late, Kurenai had made two bowls of char siu ramen to save time.
After breakfast, they left for the Ninja Academy.
The Student Council practical selection was scheduled to begin at nine in the morning. They arrived not too late—it was just past eight. Even so, the Academy was already crowded with people, lively and full of energy.
"This is my first time seeing so many people at the Ninja Academy," Kurenai said with emotion as she looked around.
"After all, there were rumors that Hokage-sama would be coming," Kitazawa replied with a small chuckle. "Hokage-sama's influence is undeniable."
"Will Lady Tsunade and Shizune be coming too?" Kurenai searched the crowd for their figures but didn't spot them.
"I invited them, but whether they'll show up is uncertain." Kitazawa paused and added, "I'll take you to the audience seating."
The Ninja Academy originally had no seating for spectators, but since today's event drew so many important guests, the teachers had worked overtime the day before to arrange multiple rows of seats around the Training Ground.
They were plain, but at least comfortable enough to accommodate the crowd.
"Kitazawa!" Before they even got close, Might Guy's excited voice rang out.
"Kakashi?" Kurenai noticed Kakashi standing next to him and asked in surprise, "Did you actually invite him too?"
As a ninja of the same generation, she was well aware of Kakashi's reclusive nature. For someone still trapped in the shadows of his past to come and watch the Student Council selection was beyond her expectations.
"He came because of Naruto," Kitazawa said casually.
Kurenai froze for a moment, then nodded thoughtfully.
"Might Guy." Kitazawa stepped forward and greeted him. "Kakashi."
"Kurenai, you came too?" Might Guy said with a touch of regret, "It's a pity Asuma didn't come."
"As the Land of Fire's Daimyo's guardian ninja, he can't leave his post so casually," Kurenai replied calmly.
Though Asuma Sarutobi had pursued her before, she had never agreed. Now that she had Kitazawa, her relationship with Asuma was no more than ordinary friendship.
"Kurenai, sit next to Kakashi," Kitazawa suggested with a smile. "This seat has a great view of the Training Ground."
"Mm." Kurenai nodded, then asked, "Where will you sit?"
"I have to act as a referee," Kitazawa replied. "After all, I'm the Director of Academic Affairs and the acting President of the Student Council. I'm in charge of today's entire event."
"You'll have a tough day today," Kurenai said with a small smile.
"Four seniors!" A voice called out from a distance.
Kitazawa turned his head to see Izumo Kamizuki and Kotetsu Hagane approaching.
"You two came too?" Kurenai asked in surprise. "What about your work?"
"It's fine, we took leave. Hokage-sama will handle things," Izumo Kamizuki replied with a grin. "We wouldn't miss such a rare event."
"That's right." Kotetsu Hagane nodded in amazement. "Even the Chunin Exams half a month ago didn't draw this many people."
"I'm going to work—you all chat." Seeing that it was almost time, Kitazawa left the seating area.
Not long after, Uchiha Fugaku entered with Itachi, Sasuke, and Mikoto.
"It's even livelier than I imagined," Uchiha Mikoto said softly, glancing at Sasuke. "Sasuke, with so many people watching, are you nervous?"
"Not nervous." Sasuke clenched his fists.
Excitement bubbled within him—the more people there were, the greater the recognition he would earn.
"You must perform well today," Fugaku said firmly. "Do not bring disgrace to the Uchiha."
His sharp eyes scanned the surroundings and caught sight of Hyuga Hiashi, recalling that Hyuga Neji and Hinata would also participate.
"I understand!" Sasuke declared with confidence. "I will definitely become the Student Council President!"
"While that may be true, you should still act within your limits," Uchiha Mikoto reminded him gently, stroking his head. "The most important thing is not to get injured."
"As a ninja, a little injury is nothing," Uchiha Fugaku said indifferently.
"In battles between students, stopping short of serious injury is more than enough," Uchiha Itachi countered, his calm voice carrying a hint of disapproval.
