His body shrank a little along the shoulders. His eye shape narrowed. His pupils widened until the white was gone completely. It became a solid dark brown color that gathered every photon in the room and threw it back as information.
He used his semi-transformed eyes' night vision to see what was happening.
Thiago moved a little to get a better view, and the first thing he saw was the wings.
Wings?
He froze in place and cursed, "Shit."
Thiago hadn't seen Grayson's wings before.
In the times he had encountered this version of Grayson, even fewer in semi-transformation, Thiago had only seen the horns, the tail, and some of the scaling and claws.
Sometimes only one of those appeared. But most of the time, only with his eyes could they tell that the one they were talking to wasn't the normal Grayson.
But never the wings.
How could he have wings?
