CHRONOS GLITCH

t's a rainy day, the storm is brewing and thunder clashing as if meant to instill fear and warn.Josh a 20 year old University student is at his transportating job.He is driving a truck carrying things for his client to the designated point.He is frustrated since he is caught in traffic and since it is raining meaning he would have to drive slowly to avoid accidents and would be late. Lighting suddenly strikes infront of his truck and he instantly has a panic attack.He starts sweating profusely, breathing becomes hard,his vision becomes blurred and his ears start ringing, he feels like he wants to throw up.Lightning strikes again but this time it hits his car just as he was opening the door to come out.He finds himself in the middle of a forest, and he falls out of the car as he is still having a panic attack .He throws up ,as he is finishes throwing up ,he hears the sound of a twig breaking.He looks around anxiously, there was no one around, there was nothing apart from his truck,trees and the sound of birds and crickets, other than that there was complete silence as if the forest was waiting for something to happen. "Who's there?" he asked. "Hello?" he picks up a stick not knowing what to do and how to react.He calms himself down and listens closely.He hears a figure coming towards him from the other side of the truck.He sweats and begins shaking as the figure comes into sight.He is left unable to move with fear, praying that he was not the prey,a tiger looking animal stares at him , it begins to circle him, sizing him up,it stops Josh's instincts tell him to run and since he had no time to argue with them,he was forced to comply.He ran and the tiger chased after him,it hit him with its paws injuring him using its claws.Josh refuses to fall down and limps away and hides behind a tree.The tiger walks slowly as if it is enjoying the hunt.Josh decides to make one last "futile"attempt to escape.He dashes quickly away from the tiger, forgetting he was injured.The tiger chases him and starts catching up . Upon sees this Josh makes a sharp turn, but the tiger's reflexes were on point and it was able to turn quickly.In an effort to accelerate faster, the tiger slipped on some faeces and hit its head on a log, and lots it's focus for a moment.In that split moment, Josh was able to determine that he would never be able to outrun the tiger and that this was his only opportunity to change his fate.Josh quickly located a rock that would be impossible for him to carry under normal circumstances,he hit the tiger on the head with it.The tiger clawed him on his ribs and chest.The tiger was injured but still alive.Josh fought through the pain and hit the tiger's head again and again until the tiger died and its blood sprayed on his face.He fell over crawled back to the truck got inside and closed the door.He looked outside anxiously waiting to see if something else was going to show up.He was amazing and frightened by the shear size and appearance of the tiger, what was it eating and are all the other animals the same size.it was built to kill.He wanted to drive off , but as he went to start the truck, he looked around and there were no roads or even paths for the truck to use and if he was to walk,he would die,of hunger,thirst, killed by something else or many other things.He entered the glove compartment and found some medicine,he took them without even knowing what they were for.He then tore his T shirt and used it to stop the bleeding.He kept looking around wondering what was going to happen.Night soon came and he drifted to sleep.In the morning he woken by by hunger that was eating at him.He got out of the truck cautiously and walked to the tiger carcass thinking of butchering and eating it but the thought itself made him gag.He looked around to see if there were any plants or fruits.He found some mushrooms. "Are there safe to eat? Aren't mushrooms usually poisonous?I should avoid them.i didn't survive the tiger just to die from mushrooms." he said.He then walked to the truck and open the back.He searched it and found a box of noodles which he concluded would last him ten days.He started a fire and boiled some water using a pan that he found in the truck.He prepared the noodles and ate. "What now, what do I do?" he asked himself."Why is this happening to me?he asked.He looks at the tiger carcass and says "I don't know how and why I am here but I promise you that I won't die like you. I'll survive, yes survive, and to do that I need."he says. "The three basic needs of human beings are food, shelter, and clothing.I already have clothes so what I need are food and water."He sits in silence for some time."I already have food for 10 days so I must focus on shelter for a maximum of eight days and the rest will be used to secure a food source. I'll start by building a fence around the truck and then I'll expand it little by little." he says to himself.He then bursts out in laughter," I always knew I would go crazy one day, I'm even talking to myself."he says.He searches for anything that he could use as a tool inside the truck.He wraps it on the surrounding trees away making a perimeter and set it to my noise when crossed so he could know of imposing danger.He butchered the tiger and separated the flesh from the bones.He cleaned the bones and sharped them to use as weapons. MEANWHILE,IN THE SAME TIME SPAN , Emily a nineteen year old girl was also struck by lightning and she found herself in a cave behind a waterfall to her luck.She catches fish from the water and rosts it.
