Chapter 11 –
POV: Lyra
After a week of pain, silence, and reflection… the cast is finally off.
I take a deep breath as I place my feet on the floor — shaky, yes, but mine. Every step feels like freedom. Like fire returning to my veins. Like a queen rising after a fall.
I glance at the mirror.
"I survived," I whisper. "And now… I rule again."
The door opens.
A nurse walks in, holding something I didn't expect — my car keys.
"What's this?" I ask, eyes narrowing.
"Your keys, ma'am. The man who saved you left them with instructions to give them only once you were strong enough to walk on your own."
Him again.
The ghost guardian. The silent savior.
He knew I'd be ready. He knew my timing.
And that wasn't all.
"Oh, and these were also sent by him," she adds, handing me a sleek designer bag. "Your clothes. For today."
What?
I take the bag, curiosity eating at me. The nurse leaves.
When I unzip it — my lips curl into a slow, amused smile.
Latest-edition jeans, perfectly my size. A limited-release branded top.
It's exactly my taste. Even the perfume tucked inside — it's my signature scent.
"He knows my size. My brand. My scent. My silence.
Who are you?"
I change swiftly, the outfit hugging me perfectly.
I step out, only to find a pair of Dior sunglasses and a designer mask placed neatly by the exit.
Whoever he is… he thinks ahead.
I slip them on.
Today, the world doesn't need to see my face — yet.
I walk out like a shadow reborn. I sign the discharge papers with a smirk and head toward the parking area.
And there it is.
My white BMW XM — the latest model. The pearl of my collection.
"Impressive. Brought my car too?"
You really know how to make a statement without speaking, ghost man.
I unfold the roof. Wind in my hair. Favorite music blasting. I drive through the city with a speed that dares the world to stop me.
Sunlight hits my skin like gold. Freedom has a scent. And it smells like revenge.
Scene: The Silent Villa
I reach my villa.
No staff.
No bloodstains.
No trace of the horror that once filled these walls.
Just silence.
I walk in and head straight to my room. Grab my black card, backup phone, some cash, and—most importantly—my handgun. I lock the door behind me.
Game on.
Scene: Vale Industries
When I arrive at my empire — Vale Industries — the front guards don't even recognize me.
"Excuse me, ma'am, you can't enter—"
I lower my mask and sunglasses.
The guard gasps.
"L-Lyra Vale… Good morning, ma'am. I-I'm sorry—"
"Park my car."
"Yes, ma'am!"
I step inside.
And the look on their faces?
As if they're seeing a ghost.
But no — ghosts don't wear Dior and heels. Ghosts don't walk in like thunder.
I do.
"Good morning, ma'am," my secretary, Vivienne, stammers.
"Press conference. Arrange one. Immediately."
"Y-Yes, right away. Also, here are the reports for the last ten days in your absence—"
"I'll review them in my office. Send coffee."
I enter my cabin.
Twelve floors above ground.
Polished walnut interiors. Floor-to-ceiling windows. The city below trembling under my heels.
I sit at my desk — not just a CEO.
A storm.
Vivienne enters with files.
"Sales report," she says nervously, "especially for V-Core — there's been a steady decline—"
"Decline?" I cut her off, sharp and cold. "Ten days without me and the company drops like a joke? Do I have to spoon-feed every department?"
She swallows.
"Get marketing on a call. I want V-Core revived. Rebranded. Relaunched. In 48 hours."
"Y-Yes, ma'am."
"And the partnership project with EFK?" I ask.
"Ma'am… they signed a collaboration with us but also brought in another company—"
I raise an eyebrow.
"Which company?"
"Voss Corporates."
Silence.
And then, a bitter smile stretches across my lips.
"Of course… Kieller Voss."
"The contract was signed with both parties. You can't back out without legal—"
"I didn't ask if I could back out. I said bring me the damn contract."
"Yes, ma'am."
She leaves quickly.
So… Kieller wants to play business?
Let's play.
Scene: The Press Conference
Vivienne knocks again.
"Ma'am, the media is ready in the conference hall."
"Good."
I head to my changing room.
I don't dress like a victim.
I dress like vengeance.
White fitted dress.
Louis Vuitton heels.
Limited-edition pearl clutch.
Dior sunglasses — my favorite.
The aura? Untouchable.
As I walk through the corridor, all eyes freeze. Phones rise. Whispers follow.
But I don't flinch.
Because queens don't run from whispers. They command silence.
I step into the hall.
Cameras explode like lightning.
I take the mic. Adjust it slowly. Stare down every journalist in the room.
And then I speak — with fire.
"You missed me, didn't you?"
Pause. Silence.
"Rumors said I was gone. Dead. Weak. Replaced."
"But let me make one thing clear…"
"Lyra Vale doesn't vanish."
"I don't hide. I rebuild."
"To the people who think they can break me — you forgot who I am."
"I built empires before I learned to love. I buried kings before I learned to cry."
Flashbulbs explode.
"To the one who kidnapped me…"
I lower my glasses, eyes like steel.
"You should've finished the job."
Dead silence.
"Because now? I'm not afraid. I'm awake. And I'm coming for you."
🔥 [Ending – Echo's Mafia Dialogue ]
"Look at her… standing in front of cameras like she owns the f****ing world." - [echo]
"Lyra Vale. Alive. Breathing. Smiling." -[echo]
"You let my target walk out of a goddamn van?" -[echo]
"Sir, we—we thought she was unconscious—"
"You thought? Who gave you permission to think?" -[echo]
"We tied her, we covered her face—she—she jumped!"
"She jumped because you're all weak little rats playing gangsters."
"You had one job—make her disappear."
"Now she's trending at #1 with a microphone in her hand and my name burning on her tongue." -[echo]
"Sir, please—give us one more chance—"
"One more chance?"
Laughs coldly
"Do you think this is a college internship?"
"In my world, one mistake buys you a hole in the ground and a family that never gets a body back."
"You embarrassed me. In front of her."
"And I don't forgive that." -[echo]
"Sir—wait—WAIT—!"
Gun clicks. Silence. One second.
"Tell Hades I sent you."
Gunshot. Body drops.
"Clean the mess. Burn the tapes. And someone feed his dog before it starts barking."
"The rest of you—listen closely."
"This girl?" - [echo]
"She is just a CEO, wrapped in designer heels."
"If any of you ever underestimate her again,
I will skin you alive and mail your teeth to your mothers." -[echo]
Pause.
"From now on… no more mistakes.
Track her. Trap her.
And when the time is right…"
"Bring her to me—
on her knees."
"Lyra Vale wants war?
Let her come.
I'll bleed her name from the sky." -[echo]
