The loud drumming of young men beating drums,the blabbing of young men and low Wail's of women was all present at the amphitheater at the imperial city of valkan empire .Today is the festival of the gods which is celebrated once in a century ,twenty beautiful young women each representing a state in valkan empire will be sacrificed to the gods to honour them.it is believed that the sacrifice will bring good fortune like good health and prosperity to all of valkan empire. among the girls princess kyla was chosen to represent the imperial city,kyla sat amongst the other girls and princesses who was also chosen dressed elegantly in her royal regalia. {people of valkan empire} said the emperor {today we gather here to celebrate our festival} what the emperor said didn't sink into his daughter head ,she was just thinking about one thing or the other to arrest her mind from what was going on around her but she found nothing .she could stop thinking about how she was going to be sacrificed at least she wasn't going to be killed instead she will be sent to the land of god alongside her companions to serve the god's as servants.
To be sacrificed the girls will travel to mount holon{dwelling place of the god's} to serve them.the journey to mount holon wasn't an easy one ,only the strong can survive to arrive at Mount holon one has to go through the field of wriath and the spiritual forest which was hard cause the god's made it so ,so humans shall never trespass into mount holon. Kyla was brought back to life from her thought by the voice of the high priest, it was time for the sacrificial rites.
For the sacrificial rites the virgins took a blood oath to promise the people that they try their best to arrive at Mount holon and be good servants to the god's. Princess kyla was given a map that will guide her and her associates to mount holon and the rules that abides to them which they must obey.kyla was made the head of the group since she was the emperor daughter. The families of the girls was called upon to bade their daughters farewell. As the emperor came forward to hug his dearest child kyla eyes welled with tears but she didn't allow it to fall she needed be strong. She hugged her father knowing she was going to miss him a whole lot.{it alright} was all the emperor could say before giving her one last kiss on the forehead. Kyla hugged and kissed her mother and brother but reluctant to hug her sister. She could not help but notice how her sister eyes gleamed with joy how she looked at her with disdain .it wasn't new to her it had always been visible how much her sister loathed her cause of how her parents treasure her {I hate you} said Kaylee kyla sister {I hate you more}said kyla as she departed.
The high priest and some other official accompanied the girls to the outskirts of the imperial city {may the god's be with you}said the high priest then he left the girls
