Elira Liora; born into a family that feeds on light and grows in good deeds, a family that hates evil and remains at loggerheads with the house of Varn. Trained to strike evil at every moment and never have something to do with those consumed by their darkness.
The Meeting and Choices
With Kael on his quest to prove that he's different from his family and that he can live without giving in to the darkness that dwells within them, he meets Elira who has been trained to fight any and every descendant of Varn. Elira strikes him down on their first meeting but along the line, she realizes there's more to him.
The Dilemma of Love
Kael must either choose to overcome the darkness within him and prove himself worthy of Elira's love while standing against his kindred or give in to blood ties and take over from his father. Elira must either choose to accept Kael and help him overcome the darkness within him while her kindred turns on her or perform her filial duty and lead the house of Liora.
Love and Prophecy
In a world torn by light and darkness, love is a risk neither of them can afford. But it may be the only force strong enough to break a curse or fulfill it. And with an evil prophecy that emerged in the heat of things, they have to choose between love or loyalty, curse or legacy
