At last, Killer Bee finally understood why the legendary battle between Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara had been said to reshape the land itself.
The slash from that man's massive blade was enough to level a mountain in one stroke. If Madara's power was that terrifying, then Hashirama's must have been even more catastrophic—jutsu capable of destroying heaven and earth.
Compared to those monsters, he was on an entirely different level.
Even as the jinchūriki of the mighty Eight Tails, Killer Bee felt utterly insignificant.
Meanwhile, inside the colossal Susanoo, Ryosuke could feel the connection between himself and the giant warrior as though it were his own limbs. He moved with seamless control—each motion perfectly mirrored by Susanoo's enormous frame.
With a single swing of the great sword, Susanoo cleaved toward the Eight Tails in front of it.
The air howled—the attack carrying a destructive force that seemed ready to tear the island apart. Ryosuke's intention was clear: rip the jinchūriki right out from within the beast.
The first step—split the tailed beast in two.
Seeing that terrifying blade descending, Killer Bee's heart nearly stopped.
He suddenly felt like a helpless lamb waiting for slaughter.
Dodging was impossible now; all he could do was raise the Eight Tails' massive arms in front of him, trying to block the blow with sheer strength—since he had no other weapon to rely on.
The clash was instantaneous—
and completely one-sided.
Susanoo's blade didn't even pause. It carved straight through the Eight Tails' body, slicing the massive beast clean in half and exposing the jinchūriki inside.
Yet, just as the sword's edge was about to strike the ground, Ryosuke forcibly halted the swing.
If he had followed through, the entire island might have been split apart—perhaps even injuring the giant turtle beneath it.
Even so, the shockwave alone was enough to devastate the landscape.
The pressure of that single halted strike ripped across the island, stirring up a violent gale. The raging winds fanned the flames still burning among the trees, spreading the inferno even further.
Through the smoke and chaos, Ryosuke spotted Killer Bee's exposed body.
His eyes snapped open—the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan flaring to life as he unleashed his genjutsu.
His gaze locked directly onto Killer Bee's.
To control a jinchūriki, he had to dominate not only the host, but the tailed beast within.
He couldn't allow the Eight Tails to break the illusion and free its host.
If Obito could achieve that, then with his Eternal Mangekyō—enhanced multiple times beyond its original strength—Ryosuke certainly could as well.
In terms of ocular power, he might even surpass Madara himself.
Pouring his full strength into his eyes, Ryosuke didn't just ensnare Killer Bee—
he extended his illusion deep inside, directly affecting the Eight Tails itself.
"Impossible…"
Inside Killer Bee's inner world, the Eight Tails trembled in disbelief.
It could feel the illusion wrapping around it—
even from within the jinchūriki's body.
How could his Sharingan possibly be this strong!?
The beast had no power to resist. Its massive eyes dimmed, the pattern of the Eternal Mangekyō reflecting within them. Consciousness slipped away—
and at the same moment, Killer Bee's own body froze, trapped within the genjutsu.
His chakra flow stopped entirely.
Without chakra to sustain the transformation, the Eight Tails' fully manifested body dispersed like smoke in the wind.
Killer Bee plummeted from midair, hitting the scorched earth hard.
Ryosuke landed soon after, dispelling Susanoo's form and standing firmly on the ground.
Satisfied, he murmured to himself,
That's that. No one here can break him free now.
He grabbed the unconscious Killer Bee and turned toward the coast.
It was time to leave.
Meanwhile, the surviving Cloud Village shinobi had finally cleared a path through the fire. Seeing the monstrous warrior who had just summoned such destruction made their blood run cold. Even the tailed beasts weren't this terrifying.
Still—they couldn't simply stand by and watch their village's jinchūriki be taken.
"Put down Lord Bee!" someone shouted, though his voice trembled.
Ryosuke glanced at them briefly. His eyes glowed once more.
A wave of genjutsu power rippled through the air—
and in an instant, every unprepared Cloud ninja froze, their eyes turning vacant before they collapsed one after another onto the ground.
Ryosuke didn't bother finishing them off.
A simple illusion was enough to keep them down for several minutes. That was all the time he needed.
They'd already sent word to the Fourth Raikage—he'd be arriving soon.
Cloud Village had its own space-time techniques, though nowhere near as refined as his.
But this place was no good for sealing a tailed beast.
He had to move quickly—find a secure spot on the mainland before beginning the extraction.
He hoisted Killer Bee over his shoulder and strode toward the sea.
On the other side of the world, at that very moment—
News of the Turtle Island attack had already reached the Fourth Raikage.
His expression hardened in shock.
Uchiha Madara… alive?
And attacking the island to capture Killer Bee's tailed beast?
What was that ancient monster plotting this time?
There was no time to think.
"Prepare the Heavenly Transmission Technique," he ordered sharply.
"I'm going alone."
That jutsu placed enormous strain on the body—only someone with a physique as powerful as the Raikage's could survive it. Anyone else would be torn apart mid-transfer.
Moments later, he appeared on the smoldering remains of Turtle Island.
The forest was still burning, and Cloud ninjas were struggling to douse the flames with Water Release.
A deep sense of dread settled in his gut.
Where was Bee?
Some of his men were still unconscious under Ryosuke's illusion, while others had just arrived from the base. One of them spotted the Raikage and hurried over.
"Lord Raikage! Killer Bee's been taken!"
"What!?" The Raikage grabbed the man by his collar.
"Was it really Uchiha Madara? Where did he take him!?"
The shinobi quickly recounted everything that had happened.
The blazing fireball, the colossal Susanoo—larger even than a tailed beast.
The Raikage's expression twisted in disbelief and fury.
Could anyone else but Madara wield such overwhelming power?
"Damn it… even if it was Uchiha Madara, I won't forgive him for taking my brother!"
He clenched his fists, remembering how many jinchūriki had died after losing their tailed beasts. He wouldn't let his brother suffer the same fate.
A jinchūriki wasn't just family—it was the cornerstone of a nation's strength.
"Send a message to the village!" he barked. "Every available shinobi is to begin searching across the entire continent for a man named Uchiha Madara!"
"Yes, sir!" The messengers sprinted back to the base to send the transmission.
The Raikage remained on the shore, staring out over the endless sea.
Finding one man across such a vast expanse would be near impossible…
Still—if the enemy truly was Uchiha Madara, perhaps they could appeal to Konoha for help.
It would be humiliating, after their previous defeat in the war, but there was no other choice.
Madara was their rogue shinobi.
And Konoha had suffered at his hands before—during the Nine Tails' attack.
If anyone understood that threat, it would be them.
The Raikage clenched his fists, his voice low with resolve.
Bee… hold on. I'll find you, no matter what.
He turned to help extinguish the remaining flames.
The devastation around him made his chest tighten—
just what kind of monstrous firepower could burn almost the entire island to ash?
