Chapter 2 - chapter 2

Jessica went to her closet and grabbed a gown that perfectly matched the shade of her piercing blue eyes. The soft, flowing fabric hugged her curves in all the right places, accentuating her slender figure. The blue hue brought out the sparkle in her eyes, and her long, dark hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall. She slipped on the gown, and it seemed to glow against her skin, making her look like a radiant goddess. Her beauty was undeniable, and she seemed to light up the entire room with her presence.

As she prepared to head out, Jessica's thoughts turned to her daily routine. She spent most of her life eating, reading, attending lectures and classes, and then retreating back to her dorm room to sleep. It was a solitary existence, but one that she had grown accustomed to over the years. She didn't have any close friends, no boyfriend or crush to speak of, and she rarely attended parties or social gatherings like other students did.

Despite being in her final year, Jessica didn't seem to mind the lack of social connections. She had long given up on the idea of having a vibrant social life in college, and now her focus was solely on academics. She was determined to get the greatest degree she could, and she didn't care about anything else. The past three years had been a blur of lectures, assignments, and exams, but Jessica had emerged stronger and more resilient with each passing semester.

Jessica walked out of her dorm room and made her way to a restaurant outside the campus. She loved the food there, and it was one of her favorite places to eat. As she sat down at a table, she ordered pancakes, and began to read a book while she waited for her food to arrive. The words on the page came alive as she read, transporting her to a different world.

When her pancakes arrived, Jessica dug in with relish, savoring the fluffy texture and sweet flavor. She ate slowly, enjoying every bite.

After finishing her meal, Jessica walked to the library, her favorite sanctuary on campus. The rows of books seemed to stretch on forever, and the quiet atmosphere was a balm to her soul. She spent hours poring over texts, taking notes, and studying for her exams. The library was her happy place, and she felt most at home among the stacks.
